Reviews of Asda Kingswood Superstore
I used to visit here regularly when I lived the hull, great bus routes with a large car park. The store itself was well presented clean and plenty of produce, there is an onsite McDonald's also for a quick snack. Prices are the same as any Asda store very reasonable.
Relatively big store for almost all your day to day needs. From home to car essentials. You can also get your fashion up or buy school uniforms. Pharmacy is available with pharmacist on site and if you get hungry while shopping, you can quickly grab a bite from McDonalds.
Overall, very good
The best place to shop if you need anything staff are great prices are just right 10/10 for me
The best Asda we’ve ever been too!
Cannot believe the range of products this store sells! It’s so good!
Staff are friendly and helpful and there’s plenty of them around if you need a hand.
This store is a 24/7 opening (except Sunday) which is great for easy access.
Big thank you to the security guards at Asda Kingswood yesterday. Literally saved me from the most traumatic experience of my life. Left my phone and purse on a trolley and they helped me try to find it and locate it. After 10 mins of trying, it unfortunately wasn't handed in. One of them let me use their phone to call my partner and then to call my phone. Phone was located and they came with me to collect it, as didn't want me to be alone. Very very helpful and supportive and could see that I was upset and in a state and went that extra mile to keep me safe and calm. Thanks so much.
Little or no adherence to their own social distancing policies. No one on the door at 5.30 to regulate numbers, the one way system is totally ignored. The self pay tills have screens but the passageway between them is too narrow to facilitate safe distancing. I felt extremely unsafe and wont shop at Asda again
Got most of the stuff I wanted fairly good prices (apart from cereal, thts quite expensive & there isn't much selection when it comes to the own brand stuff) though if you go after tea time they have a load of stuff for only 10p 👍🏻😁
Plenty of good shops and parking really good.
Had all i needed did big shop
Large asda superstore on retail complex. Plenty of parking
Only worthy of 3stars, this is purely because of the one way system they have in place due to the social distancing measures.. I am in full support of all measures taken during these unprecidented times, yet feel that the powers that be who thought up, designed and implemented the one way system hasn't ever shopped in the store.....EVER !!!... please would someone from the management team at Asda kingswood contact me direct and explain to me the thinking behind this. To put simply, I believe not one person of sound mind shops in the manner that your system is set out and thus is causing more issues for the distancing rule than it would if it was thought out properly and involved people who have actually shopped there..
A great big Thumbs up to the lady on the Scanners checkout (Maybe called Sue) Who Is always helpful and professional and will go above and beyond to help. Keep it up, you are a credit to Asda.
A Thumbs down to the Power tripping staff who like to bark out orders on how to use their one way system, whilst standing in groups gossiping, and walking the wrong way through the one way system.
The main issue I have with Asda Kingswood is the crap layout of the parking especially around the boots side - total rubbish and constantly grid locked over a Saturday - good job I live only a short distance away and can walk for my smaller shops.
The staff are generally very helpful although a few smiles from some of them would not go amiss.
The veg could be kept a closer eye on - I have come across a few rotten items but then I have in most big supermarkets.
The food is generally good quality and I am often surprised how cheap it is compared to the likes of sains and tesco -
The isles are very narrow and customers very very ignorant and stand taking up the isles or ends of isles having a chin wag - have some thought and shift out of the way
Poor social distancing controls today, letting multiple couples in with no challenge, staff not obeying the one-way arrows but then telling customers off for not obeying and groups of staff stood chatting in groups. Appreciate challenge that this brings but no control does not help.
I've had no problem there and the staff are helpful. It's a cheap shop though the quality of the food can be a bit suspect, but you get what you pay for. If you want higher quality groceries go to the Marks and Spencer store close by. Generally Asda Kingswood serves the Branswood area well.
Good selection of brands. Reasonable prices. Love the self scan so much easier than have to load, unload then load things into the trolly again. Been able to pack as you go so much easier for big shops.
Everything that you could think of is there. Make your day better!. Cheap! Amazing quality.and there is a large space to park your car
An easy to navigate store with a good range of products, although it sometimes gets very crowded at busy times.
Good stock of goods just a bit more pricey then other stores
Staff need to be more helpful and learn manners and stop thinking they are doing you the favour of shopping there! Managers are like ghosts, you never see one!
McDonald's at asda. The service is one of the worst. Staff stand around have customers waiting .
Huge store with huge George clothing section on second floor and a McDonald's inside. Always plenty of parking as again it's huge. Never came across an unfriendly or unhelpful staff member, great prices.
Would have given this the full 5 stars, but for the fact that we were there at 3.30 in the morning and the store was mid restock. It was, however, brilliant to be able to shop with so few others about.
Helpful staff, some great deals, always been happy AND.......after changing from my previous supermarket, I'VE SAVED A FORTUNE. High 5s all round. Keep up the good work !!
Would be nice to have fishmonger.
Ok I don't really like the shop but it is better than Sainsbury's in heddle.
Considering the store is open 24 hours why do the changing rooms in the George department close at 6pm. They seem to be unable to cater for people who work during the day and want to shop in the evening, with many items out of stock.
The regular big shop happens here. Although I do find the baked beans aisle to be out of place, it took me a while to find the pesky things.
Need more checkouts open at busiest times. While we were in a checkout queue a call went out 3 times for checkout staff after.5 minutes one turned up
This superstore is very well laid out, clean, tidy and is always stocked up. The staff are very kind and helpful too.
Large supermarket, large carpark petrol station, postoffice, specsavers, caters for all shopping needs. Even has a McDonalds inside.
There Isn’t enough parent&toddler spaces For mothers, quite a lot we see people using the spaces without having any children at all we come very regular to Asda and the majority of the time we have to struggle getting my little girl in and out of the car in very tight spaces hoping this comment can help get us more spaces because a lot of mums can relate to this struggle thanks x
I loved asda it's my favourite place to shop when I come over from Australia found it cheaper than tesco especially clothes there so cheap.
Good value plenty of choice get everything in one place
We found what we wanted easily and exited the cash tills with ease. The car park is very spacious.
A little busy ,but staff are very nice and chatty ,helpful , pleasent
This is a good sized Asda store with Post Office, Timpsons and McDonalds. It is located in a large retail park with many other stores.
Good prices and good quality.
The wait time at the till...not so great
Tonight was very good even though the aisles were full of stock on pallets wsiting to fill the shelves 😎
Very good supermarket suppliers of a great range of products.
Easy to get about, staff are friendly, dates on produce could be better but overall a nice clean friendly store
Store is so big I lost the wife and daughter whilst shopping. I love the escalator to the mezzanine floor.
Plenty of space to shop. Felt totally safe
It's good and the staff are kind not to mention the spectacular things you can get like clothes and gift cards
It's a good place to shop and you can get nearly anything you want in there
Large selection, of brand and own brand products, easy accessible aisles, and plenty of staff, only negative, car park can be tricky to exit.

Excellent store. Helpful and friendly staff. Produce well displayed, good offers.
Convenient. Cheep. Can't describe how nice the staff are. Would raccomend to any shopper.
Not to busy able to get parked. And they do the keeping moving products to a different aisle. X
Good produce at good prices
Good sized store compared to other Asda stores on Hull . Larger range of products and groceries
Great store, as expected with a large Asda store there is a bit of everything.
Even a McDonalds inside.
Kind of a regular ASDA. Reasonable selection of non-food. Don't go on a weekend as it is rammed!
Spot on
Staff are always helpful although they need more tills available.
Nice place for shopping
Loads of parking and every thing you can expect and love from a super store
It's a supermarket and 5's are only for above and beyond type places hence the 4
Great customer service only thing I could complain about is the female security guard very rude.
Good store with plenty of offers. Ample parking as well
Great to get everything you need from one shop. And Christmas gift shopping too !!
Probably the best Asda's in Hull honestly, more stock/choice .. worth the trip
Absolutely manic what with a lot of ignorant, pushy shoppers. Staff friendly enough though.
Standard supermarket, nothing too flashy or amazing.
Convenient, huge car park, close proximity to other shops
Brilliant superstore for practically all you need
Bought bedding for nephew going to university. Good value.
Not to busy able to get parked. And they do the keeping moving products to a different aisle. X

Super store. Everything under one roof. An issue is that no top brand labels.
Very big selection to almost everything

Big store with opticians, photo print, locksmiths, George and McDonald's

Hate the loud music I'm shopping not raving at a disco. Autistic kids really struggle with it. Gives even me a headache.
