S. H.First time visiting a cafe over 4 months, and we love it! We felt safe the whole time we were eating, everything is clean regularly, and the staff make you feel comfortable. Definitely recommend.
I. J.I saw an advertisement on the tv for their dine in meal deal which looked very good value. After making a choice before visiting, I was slightly disappointed that the majority of the dishes on the offer had been already sold. I couldn't see anyone bringing out extra stock so I picked out the meal deal from what was left. Looking into my basket of food I felt like it was a touch over priced for what there was, hopefully it will taste great! The store was popular with other shoppers & the staff were friendly. Car parking right outside the entrance.
L. B.This was the first time I had been shopping for a year as I have been shielding throughout this pandemic. This shop thinks of its customers social distancing throughout the store. The person outside sanitizing the trolleys everything you would expect. Fantastic experience. I was very nervous with no need to be as I felt safe. Well done Marks&Spencer's.
b. r.It's shame that the large M&S store closed in the centre of Hull after 100 years of trading. But this mainly food and drinks store is on the edge of the city on the Anlaby Retail Park. Quality products and although the store is of modest size it does include a cafe. Our favourite buy is a choice of 3 food items and a bottle of wine to make a complete meal for 2 for £12. Amazing quality and value.
M. C.Usual food hall, nice but dear. Not dim, well lit! Trolley girl wipes one down for you as you go in! Very good breads and hot cross buns.
J. B.Great choice of food love the £10 thai meals for two. But realy disappointed that there is now no clothes section we now have no m&s clothes shop in Hull!!
B. J.Great products and well stocked. A little pricey compared to other large retailers but shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. Top quality food products and quality costs.
R. K. (.Great selection of food and drink here, including small bottle alcohol-free wines in red, rosé and white. Always clean and tidy, with helpful staff. The best part of this store is the bakery, which offers at least three types of sourdough loaves each day (the San Fran loaf is lovely!), cronuts and Danish pastries.
As of 28th October 2020 the store is undergoing a partial restructure to help with Covid-19 measures and remove the clothing section.
P. U.Lovely toasted turkey and stuffing sandwich which i washed down with a latte in the M&S cafe. There was a short queue at the counter however we were served within a couple of minutes by the very polite and couteous staff. The cafe was clean and well staffed.
R.Great little store, I personally don't do my weekly shop here but do pop in for the odd couple of little bits and the cafe area is great for a coffee and cake.
Staff are always pleasant, store is always very tidy and can get very busy. The store is located on a retail park so always lots of parking available.
E. R.Visited the clothing part of the food hall to buy some jogging bottoms. As my sight is not good the assistant was very helpful and picked for me the right size and colours. It was a very pleasant shopping experience. Thank you lady assistant for your help. It was most appreciated.

T.I love that they are turning there sweets vegetarian and vegan friendly, I can finally get percy pigs again! ♥ Although pricey I love the bargains you can get in M&S and if you go later in the evening you can get things reduced from £8 to 10p! Stick them in the freezer and impress your friends and family, they don't need to know 😉 also the staff have always been very helpful to me although sometimes if your in your scruffs or from the younger generation you get the snobby gits being quite... Well... Snobby and shuvey to you, this I go on an evening! ☺
W. M.Went to get a few things from m&s but they had moved things an some of the food wasn't in the right place bit wishy washy but I found items. There food can't be beaten in taste so that's why it gets a 4 sort shelves an freezers out .
K. P.Good range of food and a bit of clothing. Great for collection of you don't want home delivery. Wish their chilled gluten free range had not been reduced in size.
N. S.Had a problem with the snow globe gin bottle as it didn't light up. Couldn't get through on the tph, impossible, ridiculous, automated system. M&S really need to address their tph system. Because of this I had to go into the Anlaby shop. Great customer service. Staff absolutely went above and beyond to correct the problem. Shame re M&S tph system.
D. H.Very busy around the valentines day offers which I thought I would miss going in quite early. Plenty of choice though and lots of yummy food as well. Always seem to find new things. Haddock chowder for lunch today. Minor gripe was only one til open
A. N.Set meal dish for two containing ham and chicken I found to be excellent. Taste and appearance on packaging. Also, the chocolate and nut desert very good and all at a great deal for two. A bottle of white wine to compliment the meal.
A. U.Staff friendly and approachable. Good range of products on sale at a reasonable price. Cafe can be a bit chilly - if you are thinking of going in there for a drink etc. wear warmer clothes as it gets a bit nippy in the cafe. But altogether a good shop and worth a visit.
A. S.OK, Elephant in the room, M&S are expensive. BUT if you look around there are offers to be had which makes them quite reasonable and the quality of the food is very good, they definitely live up-to their reputation.
As I'm below retirement age I don't bother with the clothing section though.
M. F.Generally a good experience. It suits my needs and is one of my favourite places for food. I'm getting tired of all the charity muggers though. All the recent Macmillan activity is getting rather overbearing. When I shop I don't want to feel pressured for donations. I find it irritating, unnecessary and not relevant to shopping there.

M. E. R.You may think Mark's food is all expensive, but they stock cheaper ranges too . You can also get ladies clothes here also, and stuff like bin bags, foil, etc. Has a good range of gluten free items, even GLUTEN FREE FISH FINGERS. Yummy.
