Check your receipt!! Staff scan discounted products at full price. Happened on two visits with different staff; today was experienced (worked here when it was Sainsbury's) and he didn't even apologise. Edit: Changed from 1* to 3* due to an excellent response from the company which gives me some hope they will deal with the problem.

What a shame this store is closing. Used the store regularly. Staff are polite and helpful & stock is good. Unfortunately Sainsbury's other shops are too far away.

I use this shop a lot as Sainsburys are autism friendly and always go out of their way to help me get what I need and are very patient with me, unlike some other shops. They give Autistic people like me extra time at the checkout to process information and questions given to us. The layout of the store is good and the range of products available is amazing for a small shop. Prices aren't too bad, many compete with the other supermarkets. There is often only one or two staff on the checkouts and there are no self checkouts which can mean queues but outside of busy periods, there isn't any queues. I also love the fact that Sainsburys supports and celebrates LGBT+ 😃 Sainsburys recognise and often stock the hidden disabilities sunflower lanyard. This lanyard is there to discreetly tell staff that you have a hidden disability and may need extra help or accommodations.

Not a bad selection of products but Sainsbury's are always more expensive than other supermarkets anyway, Saintsbury's Locals are EVEN more expensive than that!
