It's ok for a quick stop but does get busy. Range of products ok. Parking ok as well. Handy little shop. Bit on the expensive side though.

Over priced but that is the co op for you I guess. Couple things I needed were 50% more expensive than in the shops I usually would buy them from. Their prices are what deters me from shopping at Co-Ops (other than if I have no other option). The shopping experience is no better than e.g.Tesco or even Poundland so what exactly am I I paying more for? The store was pleasant & staff were friendly in this particular branch but nothing exceptional. The self serve tills were handy(they did not have them last time I vsited). In addition the hand sanitizer pump was physically filthy as was area around it which was off putting. Hand sanitizer is less effective if you have greese or dirt on your hands before applying. The shop was very quiet so it was not like they had no time to notice & clean things up. You could say I'm nit-pucking with this but am just giving my guenuine thoughts (and paying £4 for something I usually pay £1.99 for I'd like a more exceptional experience 🤣).

Good local shop with friendly staff. Well laid out and has most things you need in a hurry including local produce and great meal deals. I prefer it to the other co-ops in the area. The staff are really friendly and recognise you and say hi. Just feels nicer that the other local coops

Penshurst Road Coop is a great Coop store in many ways. I enjoy working there as a CSA. And love all the friendly staff I work with. We all get on well and work in a friendly, happy atmosphere and work well together and help each other out wherever possible. The customers are all welcomed by a friendly happy smile, we help them out wherever possible and have a chat about things involving the Coop and provide them with whatever information we can to help them out and also about the community too. It is clean, always well stocked with a good variety of all everyday convenient groceries and green groceries and fruit and frozen foods too. And stationery, papers, magazines and greetings cards. Ì am very happy working there and I say it's the best place and a great company to work for, I couldn't ask for a better job.
