Tried the click and collect service for the first time. Ordering was really easy. The items that they needed to substitute only 3 items were really well selected. On collection it was easy to use the screen display and the instructions were clear. Well done Thurmaston store for making it an easy shop. Thank you 🙏

Pretty good shopping experience today, however did struggle with the chair attached trolley keep unclipped itself and wandering across the aisles. Also narrowly avoided a collision with a very apologetic staff member pushing a cage not looking where she was going, and the checkouts were very narrow. But apart from those cons availability of products was excellent, the aisles were clean and easily accessible. I managed to pick up everything I went in for too

Big store, can by very busy, but availability on most groceries is normally very good. Recently (2021) had an internal re-layout and face lift to modernise. New B&Q essentials in store.

Plenty of shopping trolleys and parking spaces. I have visited this store many times - most of the times I find what I have on my lift so no complaints. The staffs not always helping hand with customers as they will point aisle name.

Asda seemed poorly stocked today. Hoped to buy pants, but their packs are, as is often the case, nearly all missing some out of the pack, unless you want white very large sizes (I didn't). Clearly customers are pinching random pairs out of multipacks, and some were made up with different sizes in them. I found one pack I was looking for, but on checking, as it had been opened, there were 3 different sizes in it! Perhaps these need placing where staff can view the racks easily. A couple of other items I couldn't get, and some prices (eg vitamins) have doubled from last year. Disappointed.

Hi we had a emergency with the car, and all our mobiles went flat after a day out. The lady behind the kiosk was so helpful and the security guide and the mangers who let me use the phone on numerous occasions very grateful to the Thurmaston staff. Regards The Grice family

Definitely a busy asda considering obviously people from around Leicester doing their shopping. Your average asda, shelves slightly less stocked than some others upon my 2/4/21 visit.

Have shopped here for long time, not anymore. Suppose to be one way system which is a joke hardly anyone takes notice of arrows on the floor. People just reach over you , no social distancing at all, when i mentioned this to the staff they said what can we do? Staff filling shelves dont tell customers its one way so why bother? Yes its up to people to take responsibility but if rules not adhered to then its up to the store to do as much as they can and not ignore whats going on Worse store ive been in since covid started regarding following guidelines.

Asda is value for money and has good opening hours. However, I agree with Corinne on the Covid-19 measures needed. Store pickers need to ensure they maintain the 2m distance, staff need educating on proper mask use i.e. cover nose and mouth, and self-checkouts screens needs sanitisers or staff wiping down. Update 16/02/2021 Am still disappointed to find staff wearing masks below their nose and not keeping a social distance. I wonder if management read these reviews and if they do, whether they walk the floor to ensure Covid safety measures are adhered to!

I visited Asda this morning to do my weekly shop. I use to shop at Tesco in Beaumont Leys Leicester. The prices at Asda are much more affordable, this as saved me lots on every day essentials items, like grapes that are £1 and £2 in other supermarkets. I had purchased 4 times Little Tree car air fresheners again priced at £1 everywhere else at least £1.50. I scanned the item and placed in the bagging area but was not recognised a bit confused but luckily a member of Asda staff saw me struggling and helped me scan the four car air fresheners. The issue was they were to light in weight to be weighed by bagging till. She helped until all four were scanned. I asked her name she said it was Pretty Makwanda, could have the spelling wrong, please forgive. Pretty was very helpful and just like to say I appreciate your help this morning Pretty, making my trip to Asda and enjoyable experience. Good to know customer service is excellent accompanied together with best prices and free trolleys since at Tesco I could never find a pound since everything is contact less no one carries cash. Thank you very much Asda n Pretty an absolute star and credit to Asda, God bless n keep everyone safe there.

Good prices well stocked you can get almost every thing you need staff friendly hard to get served they don't have a till for small amounts in baskets you have to que with the Trollies takes a long time

Had a good visit, quickly got everything I needed, it was cheaper than Tesco. I didn't have to queue, I didn't have to buy multiples of anything or get ripped off on the price. The lady on the self scan was happy and friendly.

It’s only a small ASDA but it’s decent. Normally has all the items I need. Staff are friendly. Sometimes you wait too long at self checkout as there’s not enough staff and too many people buggering up the bagging area (me included)

Use this place a lot and have found that the staff are friendly and happy to help. Use to use a well known chemist (no names mentioned) and found that Asda chemist is far better. I even got a call when my prescription came in. So over all well worth using this store.

I like ASDA but why put items on the reduced shelves before they have had the yellow sticker attached? Today several reduced shelves were stacked full with unmarked items, if you just pick off these shelves you end up paying full price at the till. Is this a ploy? You decide!
