Reviews of Morrisons
J. G.
I would like to express the big gratitude to Adrian who was very helpful and polite when I asked him if they had the washscreen for cars because I could not find it in other shops such as Aldi, Asda, Asda petrol station in Leicester, so Adrian did not only said that Morrisons had, but he willingly went to the entrance and brought it to me. Well done, Adrian! That proves that Adrian is an excellent role model of how all customers should be treated. Thank you so much for this opportunity to experience full customer satisfaction, and the windows of my car are shining!! 👍😊
I. S.
Went to the cafe... No chicken burger.. no hot choc and not enough staff. Staff that were there were great but 5 min wait to get served and advertised food not there..... It's a supermarket go get from the shelves ??. Management needs to review this area of the site. Used to be 5 stars
A. M.
Fantastic store and the restaurant is out of this world. As a visitor to this area I called in a 13:30 and asked for an all day breakfast and for £6 got a feast fit for a king. The lady who served it from the kitchen was like a mother figure and I felt like I wanted to hug her and say thank you mum as the warmth radiating from her and her cooking was amazing.
If this store hasn’t won awards for its cooking and customer service there are problems else where as what I saw today showed dedicated, warmth, loyalty, professionalism and a true liking of their job.
S. H.
Great selection of food at great, competitive prices. Unusually, during our shopping trip, my wife and I had breakfast in store. Once again, great food, (we both had a full English), which was half price! The staff were friendly and gave excellent service. The café supervisor was really good, and went out of her way to help my wife who is a Coeliac and requires gluten free food. I recommend Morrisons to those who've never tried the store. It beats its competitors!
M. K.
Reasonable cost and according quality. Good staff and service, clean atmosphere and good stacked clearly and price marked well. Ample parking and trolley selection.
M.
We regularly use this store and the staff are friendly.
The toilets however are far from adequate. They are really really dirty. The toilet in the child change room was disgusting and I can’t see how it could have been cleaned properly to be in the state it was at around 10am on a Saturday morning. This has been the case on other occasions and I notified customer services.
J. S.
Really good produce went to look at Morrisons own catfood good price
40 for £8.25
J. H.
My local supermarket. Not the cheapest, but I go there for certain things I know I can get there. Good Fish, Meat and Deli counters which as a single person is great as can buy just what I need
a. f.
Love the quality of the baked goods in Morrisons. Not the cheapest but great for quality. Now they even offer click and collect and Amazon prime food click and collect.
D. V.
You can find all of your daily essentials, foods, drinks, and utilities at this place. Although Morrison's is slightly over the edge in prices when compared to Aldi and Lidl, this place can be a one stop solution for those who want to shop in a single place. This place also has a car wash, fuel station, and a huge parking area.
s. g.
Massive store plenty of choice too 3 hours free parking which could easily be taken up walking round to find that one specific item. It is located near two pubs and a cinema too.
s. m.
Great cafe that's worth 5 stars but the store ..... prices seem to be going up all the time. During the day store is well stocked and has plenty of staff about to help you and checkouts open with cashiers but late afternoon or evening everyone disappears and forced to use the robot tills or wait in a queue for a checkout.
M. M.
Good staff, decent products , Asian lady on yhebtills running around trying to cope but no other staff available.
S. M.
Thank you so much to Gemma who was so helpful this morning when I went to the local store to do shopping for the local Foodbank . Really appreciated your support . The lady at the till was so helpful too & helped me load the car . Thank you so much both you are a credit to your company .
S. P.
I went in for some sandwiches, and there were 4 others doing the same. We were going to watch the rugby. There were scatterings of some but not great at all. I realise it was early evening but still not a good selection.
j. n.
I liked this Morrisons, I only went in for a meal deal as I was in Leicester to watch Leicester v Fulham. The meal deal was good value, in my opinion it had a good range of drinks, sandwiches and snacks included.
It was funny to see the cafe full of LCFC supporters 😂
R. P.
Quick in and out this time, to pick up the bits that Tesco failed to deliver on my last order. Couldn't find just one item (raspberry coulis/sauce) so had to make my own from fresh instead. Bit of an inconvenience at nearly 10pm.
J. V.
I really like the fresh fruit and vegetables here and the choices are pretty good
C. W.
Great food and the meat in particular from the butcher and in general is really nice they have most if not everything you need from a grocery store and is now my main store to shop at
J. J. P.
Nice place for shopping.. we can get almost all items here..
S. H.
Lovely big store, including a little clothing section, and mug printing section - the latter being something I've not seen in a Morrisons before
C. S.
Lunch time meal good food and price let down by not enough staff to serve everyone. Felt sorry for the hard working people I saw not there fault management issue to resolve
M. D.
Only problem is when city or tigers play. Also now you have a macdonalds. Need to put in another exit. Took 20minutes to get out 90minutes before city kicked off.
C. S.
Came to do some shopping and stopped to have breakfast always lovely food and staff are very helpful
M. B.
Standard Morrisons. Good location if your going to the City/Tigers or cinema. Difficult one way system on the surrounding roads.
K. D.
Just to say a massive thank you to the staff I met & the manager on duty (4/1/22 @9pm) Broke down in morrisons carpark tonight freezing temperatures outside. Went inside to see the manager to explain I might be stuck for sometime. He went as far as to invite me into the canteen to make a hot drink. Also thank you to the staff on their break very friendly and helpful (even after they found out what I did for a living) 🤣😂🤣😂 Best customer service in Leicester
J. S.
Decent place to visit to be fair, right near a bus stop which is dead handy, and another bus stop right out side for the return leg of the journey. It's a fairly big in sixlze store, so a very decent selection. The only downside for us was that the robot tills, kept freezing up, so for pretty much every item we s Anne's it wouldn't detect that we'd places the item in the bagging area 🤦♂️ other than that though, it's not a bad place to visit for your shopping needs...
P. M. H.
A big store, good for bi-weekly grocery shopping. They have a good stock of fruits, vegetables, bakery products ready to eat food, etc.
They also have world foods like Indian, Arabic and African and a Halal meat section.
The prices are comparable to other supermarket chains.
Look out for "Savers" products if you want to save money on shopping.
P. O.
Had a full breakfast which like the curates egg was only good in parts
D. B.
Great place to shop, plenty of variety right from the fruit and veg to the free from selection.
What can I say, its a supermarket it is what it is.
V. D.
I had the good fortune of seeking assistance from a member of staff, Moninder, who was extremely helpful. Not only did she take me to the item I was looking for, she kindly suggested alternatives which I must say has never happened before. Friendly, helpful, chatty and an asset to the team. Keep up the good work.🙏🏽
T.
I enjoy it here always plenty of choice and most prices not to bad but at the minute don't go to often as not everyone wearing mask
C. W.
The steak and kidney pies were great. The cafe area always appears to have staffing problems with tables left uncleared
F. L.
Stopped in whilst waiting for my car at the dealership, and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast. The café staff were lovely and friendly, and the food and service was good. I had no idea where the toilets were and the staff member I asked was really polite and showed me exactly where to go. Will visit again!
J. R.
Nice and clean. Definately can find anything your looking for here
P. P.
A huge Morrisons with an enormous car park
Usual Morrisons selection, quality & prices
On site cafe & petrol station
Worth a stop to refresh or simply shopping in Leicester
A. H.
Morrison's is up there as 1 of the best supermarket chain's out there, keep it up Morrison's .
P. C.
Nice to go shopping where the supermarket makes an effort to include all walks of life... They offer special autism awareness shopping times, which is an amazing credit to the board of Morrison's for highlighting this initiative.
S. T.
Good food quality. The butcher's area was good
S. P.
Disabled toilets were not very clean! Otherwise staff are helpful and polite!
L. &. C. c.
Took my mother there today and she had a fall in the entrance. Staff were very helpful especially the lady in the timpsons booth who found her a chair and was very kind. Eventually took advantage of the wheelchair provided and had a good shop. Everyone very considerate.
C. T.
Only went into Morrisons for a coffee and a muffin but due to torrential rain I had a walk around the store, I've never been in a Morrisons store before. I was pleasantly surprised by some of the prices, but not all!
However some of the special offers were really good, I ended up buying 3 bottles of one of my favorite wines, all that was left on the shelf! Saving £2.50 on each. I will have to see if I can find one more local to me.
c. n.
Very busy, nice and clean, good veriaty of food
T. B.
Perfect place for food if into that kinda thing
M. P.
Clean, well stock, good price, ample parking, friendly staff, overall good service
J. D.
Easy parking. Quick service although the kiosk area in the main entrance is difficult to use as there is limited space to place your goods whilst paying as the counter was very cluttered. Did mention this to the Assistant but she seemed to ignore me. Did get 2 bargain tins of sweets for the staff at work tho for £3.99 each so that made up for it lol
C. A.
All big items collection is amazing best place of shopping
R. N.
Most of the staff are really nice and helpful. Their fresh meats are usually good as is their fish. But why do they not stock herb refills? It's such a waste of a glass jar having to buy new everytime.
K. E.
As far as local (walking distance its about15 minutes) supermarkets in Leicester City centre go, morrisons has by far the best selection of fresh meat and fish, along with a very good fruit and veg section, high quality cheese section and a excellent selection of craft and real beers/ales. With regards to store cupboard grocery items they definitely have a larger selection than other shops in town. Nhs discount is a bonus
A. J.
Top quality food and drink, and great prices!
N. F.
Use every month for my shopping, will not go anywhere else, excellent choice and quality.
J. S.
Easy to park. Good value
V. R.
Easy car parking, sadly no EV charge points. Good quality food, with fresh fish counter. But not exactly a cheap place to shop.
K. P.
a lot of items have gone up in price but same could be said for a lot of places
D. H.
Very good supermarket for somewhere so central. I've definitely warmed to morrisons in the last few years and this is a good one. Worth a visit if you need to do some shopping. The cafe looked good too, I haven't been to this cafe but I have to another in Essex and it was very good so maybe worth a visit.
V. M.
Everyone is happy & smiling ready to help even at 7am
H. S.
Wide range of products at reasonable prices, especially with their 10% discount for NHS staff which is a remarkable gesture. Keep up the great work!
M. H.
It's fantastic opportunity to shopping in the Morrison they got offers plenty of house hold items
C. M.
Good store just need to watch sell by and use by dates. Shame as it used to be a great store. My previous review was 5 stars!!
H. M.
Overpriced compared to other supermarkets, empty shelves in the fridge where special offers had not been replenished. Overall shop looked untidy, will not be rushing back 😒
C. A.
Popped in for a bacon sandwich and coffee mid - house move. Coffee wasn't great but the bacon sandwich was excellent - really nice roll and a generous amount of bacon - just what we needed.
S. A.
So many times I went not get I want Its me I have little confusion when I go I don't understand which way for fuel and which way to go to store many a times I ended in wrong everything is ok in store price wise not so much difference Fresh cream cake excellent I bought for my elder sons birthday dry cleaning service is good my elder son likes their saldbars when ever he comes with me he buys something from their saldbars some staff are very good some are not
k. s.
They have some great offers and have a good range
v. m.
Good parking, friendly staff. Easy to find products
s. e.
Good fresh produce and helpful staff. Cafe is open and thankfully more space now the plastic screens have been removed.
k. p.
Great salad bar great hot counter and great cakes
R. M.
Morrisions had continued to maintain high cleanliness in store, and provided adequate cleaning facilities front of store. They are still counter customers. Obviously there will always be some who just can't be bothered to follow the social distancing rules, but overall I am happy with the efforts made in this store.
J. L.
I went in for sone chilled beers. I'm staying in a hotel and don't have access to a fridge, so I was unimpressed that they didn't have chilled bears. Went to a premier corner shop and I was satisfied there
B. S.
Collected food donations for new parks community mission. This enabled our group to make up quite a few food parcels for struggling 👪 families
g. J.
A nice place to see what's on offer
A. A.
Too many staff not wearing masks, and some of those that were had their nose above the mask. Shopped at seven in the morning and the store was already busy, but this was made much worse by the fact that there was an army of shelf stackers, with so much produce in the aisles, stacking really quite bare shelves. Really not a good shopping experience.
D. R.
Helpful staff, well stocked shelves and a large free car park.
R.
My favourite place to shop, if you ask me why perhaps becauss they sell varieties of world foods but fresh groceries such as veggies and fruits stocks runs out pretty fast. Love the florist corner and the birthdays and celebration hélium balloon service. Staff are very friendly
T. W.
Dreadful place, if it wasn't for the Fresh fruit, veg, fish and meat sections l would avoid the place. No social distancing, security stand chatting to anybody at their desk, instead of a managing health and safety in the store. Staff overwhelmed by it all. Best to get in first thing, and have a commandos shop, and out.
M. L.
It's my one stop shop I can collect all I need from one shop. Great weekly offers. Great selection of food
m. j.
good selection, some staff are super nice, often though the shelves are empty needs restocking more often and the mustard is kept in a really weird place
D. C.
For shopping food range is wide and good, catering for wide ethnic specialities. The cafe is a place l love to enjoy a coffee or two (very good proper bitter coffee) and the bacon baps are beyond improvement. Must try the full breakfast. Prices moderate, especially with recent unlimited coffee deal. Wine prices seem very attractive, good range of bottled beers. Can be busy but parking no problem and fuel prices very favourable.
C. L.
Best morrisons I've been to but the breakfasts in the cafe is a joke, no seriously they are disgraceful a total waste of money and the food isn't the best. Small portions and the food is disgusting don't visit the cafe
M. L.
I find it a little bit more expensive than other supermarkets, but there is a larger variety of cuts of meat available to buy which is refreshing.
K. K.
Best for everything under 1 roof and always reasonable price
J. O.
Good staff, friendly people
P. B.
Went into Morrisons to pick up a few things as usual ended up seeing a lot of things I liked, and spending more than I meant to! The lady at checkout was really helpful and friendly. Just wish there poultry selection was better. Always end up going elsewhere for that
I. S.
Very nice place. Ample of parking spaces.
S. D.
Big supermarket with standard arrangement, neat and tidy, variety of choices of foodstuff and other essentials. Although I couldn't get what I went there for (a face mask), I was able to get other stuff I wanted. Staff were available to help, social distancing was being adhere to and overall service was good.
S. E. C.
I love Morrisons not to big I know where everything is. There fresh veg fruit meat and fish are excellent I don't buy from anywhere else
G. J.
Standard supermarket. Clean, well laid out and cut flowers all appeared fresh and vibrant. Staff on the other hand need to smile more and not be rude. When explaining I have a hidden disability, the lady on the door looked down her nose and at me with disgust. Apart from that, all ok
R. T.
Car park was great to park car in, the shelving held the goods up from the floor just great. Only sorry I couldn't have stayed longer....
C. 0.
Good range of products, but the shelves are often empty. The staff are pleasant, and the tills often busy. The Cafe is good value although not the best food, and the toilet facilities are always clean. The carpark is big enough but the spaces are quite small.
C. W.
I like morrisons, because there is a variety of products,(international) especially when one is trying to keep off the processed foods. I like the fresh oven bread, as the old fashioned way was healthier. Some items are a little bit more expensive and I hope they don't up the price quickly and too often, especially once popular. I'm confused by the opening times, for Sunday the webiste is 9.30 am and maps is showing 11:00 am.
I. S.
Easy access with ample parking. Friendly, helpful staff. A good range of products without being bamboozling. I like the convenience and the store layout. The offers and the points mean I get a regular fiver off. The petrol is cheaper than most. What's not to like?
M. B.
Morrisons are fantastic. They help our charity so much.
A. S.
ran out of basic spices. can only assume it was because of the lorry driver shortage. still a good place for a shop.
A. G.
Yes, it's a mix. On one occasion a manager went out of his way to sort an issue (wish I could remember his name). But on another occasion I was asking the price of a pomelo and, instead of sorting it for me the worker (certainly not assistant) just said "Oh just go to the till". A real faff. So can be 5 stars and other days 2. Depends who is in........
P. P.
One of my favourite large food outlets as thy not cut staff for more profiles unlike overs.
S. G.
Great visit to the city store. Well stocked shelves and a vast choice of goods with many offers available. Filled up the car at the fuel station on the way out. Best prices in the city. Staff were very helpful at both outlets. Thank you Morrisons for a good experience in a very clean store/ fuel stop. I'll be back.
K. 1.
One of the better supermarkets. Good variety and not overly expensive. Think M&S without wishing to be one of those people :-)
H. K.
Decent store, very busy but hardly any staff around, self check outs very busy and crowded but just one person serving, kind of delayed me. Great amount of choice and plenty of keen offers but there isn't any restrictions placed on some of the better deals resulting to low stock.
H. G.
Located in prime spot for weekly or Monthly groceries shopping for a family. Ample parking and decent rate and quality associated with the brand.
A. S.
Love this store...
2020-03-16 no sanitary papers left. No UHT milk.
D.
Shelves full. Staff very friendly. Wasnt to busy.
Y. V.
Lovely place for your grocery shopping and general household items. I love the bakery sections mix and match bread! Always have good offers and promotional items.
S. M.
Good shop, decent range, perhaps the wine range could be better, but avoid when the Tigers or LCFC are playing at home unless you have a spare 45 minutes to queue out of the car park. By the time I'd got out my family had eaten everything we'd just bought and had to go shopping again.
R. B.
The hot counter at morrisons best bar none
M. W.
Had to wait as no tills open at 7.30am . When I asked a member of staff they told me to go to the self check out even though my trolley was full. After mentioning this they finally opened a check out. There was a queue forming at this point. Not happy. This is the second time this has happened. I was late for work as a result.
S. K.
Food is decent, but more expensive than other places. I can usually find what I'm looking for and sometimes see new things I haven't had before. My main gripe is how poor the staff is with the customers at the self-checkout. It feels like they're trained to ignore us until you stare at them long enough to come over to you
S. V.
Curd and milk 🥛 is very good
H. M.
Just thought that we would check out Morrisons for a change since its been a long while since we've been here me and my wife, there are few things that we were able to get which we cannot get from our local Tesco's anymore like a choice of fresh fish but I'm not swapping from shopping from Tesco prices here are more than Tesco's and i couldn't find any free range chicken portions and other free range products. So its Tesco's for me and its only less than ten minutes from our home I'll still pop into Morrisons but not too often. Just revisit Morrisons today 6th July and to my surprise it somewhat shocking that there was no social distance in the store and very few people who were inside the store were not bothered about their own health, i had to also pointed out to a member of staff that the salad that was on display was out of DATE 😲. Me and my wife decided to go somewhere different for our shopping and again the experience was disappointing sorry to say. The fish and meat counter is great.
D. H.
Went to the cafe for a bit to eat, we had the big breakfast, it definitely was big, we would of liked toast instead of fried bread but apart from that it was lovely.
Two big breakfasts and two pots of tea for £11
Well worth the money.
Would go again no problem.
A. 2.
I can't love Morrisons enough! Today I went there and found an authentic Jamaican Juici Beef Patty for £1!!, they made my evening complete. They also carry a range of other Caribbean products, some of which I've not seen in other supermarkets. With quality products at affordable prices, Morrisons will definitely be seeing my face more often
C. K.
Good vegetarian options
J. T.
It's a supermarket.😊
Easily accessible, friendly staff and nicely laid out. Nice bakery products. Not exactly as good as those offered by Lidl on Humberstone Gate or patisseries of Sainsbury's Oadby, but if you are passing ...
Value for money? Mmm, tough one. Certainly not more for the pound when compared to Asda or Tesco.
E. L.
A good supermarket quite big. I bought everything I needed. Lots of car parking spaces. Has a bus stop just outside. You'll need £1 for the trolley. Has a cafe that serves nice food, not to expensive. You can also get fuel there, also isn't expensive. Not far from the town centre.
H. S.
Good prices, value and shop staff. They do seem to have stock issues with Bakery and pastry items - run out a lot. Abysmal toilet facilities though (just one cubicle and two urinals), usually not very clean. Large car park.
S. “. W.
Disappointing meal at this store. Had sausage, egg, chips and beans. The only thing hot was the fried egg, the rest luke warm, the chips looked and tasted like they were cooked yesterday and warmed up today. My husband had half a chicken, which was was very tasty. The peas looked anaemic, the gravy watery and chips the same as mine. Altogether very disappointed. Oh, forgot to mention the coffee was good but the fair trade decaf tea bags left a lot to be desired.
M. D. F.
Very large store with a variety of brands and items. Great place to get things for the kitchen (pots and pans and such). Very close to University accomodation, and plenty of parking. Bit pricey, but for the quality, it is worth it. Staff are very friendly! Self checkout available!
T. M.
Fantastic in-store butchery and fresh fish counter. I get all my fresh produce here. They regularly support local farmers but selling their products in-store. There are 2 Amazon lockers at this store
J. D.
Love this store. The staff on the whole are extremely helpful. They have a wonderful selection of goods to chose from.
J. C.
This supermarket is close to the bus stop so very handy.
There indoor bakery has some lovely bread at reasonable prices.
The butcher department are very helpful and will cut ant size joint you want.
T. D.
Clean and airy. Good selection of fresh vegetables (although only very small butternut squash- I couldn't find them) Helpful staff. A good all rounder for food at reasonable prices.
J. S.
Fantastic Service from staff. The store is also nicely laid out and it's easy to park. It's a shame how some of the staff are treated from the atrocious behaviour of some customers who seem to hate them doing a good job and constantly picking out faults. Seen one women getting the manager on one of the staff who didn't even do anything wrong.
Also if your tomatoes roll around in the car, that's the drivers responsibility not the staff. How dare they not have the power to control gravity miles away from the store!!
S. B.
The fish and chips and cake and chicken and salad and cups of tea with the added loveliness of Sharon .... Thank you so much
S. M.
Shop had all I needed, although cafe was not that good. Had to wait a long time for service.
R. B.
Did a complete shop at 7.30 which was a good time as there were few customers in the store. In and out in 20 minutes. Only problem was Morrisons floor staff who by and large seem oblivious to the concept of social distancing. Its as if they consider themselves immuned from the virus.
Also could do with arrows on the floor to direct shoppers and staff alike.
A. H.
Morrisons has really friendly staff and a fantastic variety of food and drink. The parking is free and the petrol is cheaper than Sainsbury's at Fosse Park. Good to see that everyone except 1 person (who was a shopper) were wearing masks.
G. S.
Of all the supermarkets in Leicester I prefer Morison's. Not perfect but the staff are very helpful. The aisles are wider than other supermarkets and that make life easier. The staff are helpful, but sometimes the stock levels aren't. Nevertheless this is my preferred shoemaker for the main shop in our family.
D. U.
4th Largest Retail chain of UK,
Good to go for retail shop, grocery, meat, fish and coffee, Laundry is bonus here, it is located just opposite to ODEAN Cinema, Nando's chicken, close vicinity of both the ⚽️ & 🏉 stadium,,,
A. O.
Outstanding customer service received today from the lovely lady behind the hot food counter. Requested my chicken and Criss cross cut chips, not forgetting my mayo. As she handed over my food she mentioned I'll hand you the mayo separately as it gets greasy inside the bag. This made me smile, as it was because when her son had hot food and mayo inside the bag... you guessed it, it was greasy. You can exceed customer service by such little things, like your own experience 😀
I. S.
Since lockdown I have been using the store Sunday mornings. I cannot praise the staff enough. To name a few Lynn, Claire and Dilip. These 3 are so helpful and go beyond with the service. Absolute credit to Morrison's freemans common. The chap at the meat counter has a lovely friendly smile too. Haven't spoken to him as i don't purchase meat however he deserves a mention too. Thank you to the other lovely friendly staff too you guys are amazing 👍🏾
D. B.
The last visit there the TILL OPERATOR was very unhelpful towards a disabled person and offered NO help.
Its first time I been there and the shelves were empty so variety of goods wasn't available plus highly disappointed Morrison's do not accept Severn Trent water payments.
P. H.
Very good, staff excellent and all wearing face masks and other ppe. All exceptionally well organised compared to other supermarkets.
Today, the mackerel was very fresh.
Well done
S. E.
The store in general is fantastic. It has everything we need at reasonable prices. Moreover, the cafe is lovely with a friendly staff and tasty food. Keep it up! We would definitely come again.

Well what can a man say ... blown away by the choice of sandwiches ... man even managed to bag himself some falafel with houmous ... doesn't get much better than that does it folks .... add to that I also managed to buy a Christmas table cloth and tea lights as you can imagine I almost needed a change of underwear by the end of my experience . If I'm ever that way again I will be returning.
G. F.
Went on 24/12/2018 with my two children. The tall blonde lady on seasonal work today was fantastic she deserves 5 stars. She was polite to me and my eldest child and checked prices for us three times and was still smiling. Great customer service and made my busy shopping trip a little easier. Thankyou. Four stars because the layout of the shop.
S. G.
The cafe was good but a long wait, definitely needs more staff
1. N.
Helpful staff, wide range of products at different price ranges, long working hours that allow me to make my shopping unrushed and in peace, without bumping into fellow shoppers.
J. L.
It's a supermarket, what else can I say
G. G.
Great cafe. Food tasty, excellent value, plentiful portions good range of meals (beef and ale pie, bangers & mash, chicken burger and tuna crunch jacket potato). Also lovely, friendly service.
B. F.
Morrisons is one of the cheaper major British grocery chains, so it comes as a pleasant surprise to me that their store-brand products are especially good. This is one of the biggest supermarkets in Leicester, and it has some of the city's best selection. It's a clean yet not sterile store
L. k.
Usually love this store due to the eaze/layout however recently the dates on their produce have reduced to within the next few days. As opposed to having nearly a week on some of the fresh things like it used to be. Other than that, good store with friendly team members
M. C.
Used paper towel all over the place at the entrance? The first cleaning station had sanitizer but no towel, second station had towel but no sanitizer? Had to go back and forth as the next person was doing the same thing. Lots of empty boxes on shelves.
J. S.
Always clean and usually a greater at the door. Plenty of items in store. Some a little over priced but I'd rather pay more to a British store. Friendly staff and easy to get a taxi home.
J. T.
Mostly nice polite staff hence sum ov the cafe staff who r quite rude.
D. C.
Previously one of the best place to shop, pleasant staff and shopping layout. I have noticed there is a significant increase in prices against goods which greatly surprised me. Somewhat disappointed as always believed this was a store giving value for money.
H. N.
It has almost everything one needs. Though a better halal section would be amazing.
K. W.
Good range of beers at reasonable price. Curry ready meals good too. Sad they have stopped stocking Dickenson & Morris Pork Pies. These are the best but no one else seems to stock them. Now Morrisons don't either.
S.
Popped in after work from the UHL. Got some groceries and Christmas decorations. Pleasant atmosphere and feeling of festive season as I got all my stuff and good experience of customer service
T. 1.
Always a treat. Love the choice in fresh fish. And 10% for NHS. Double the treat. More stars 🌟. Thanks 😊
J. F.
I like a lot this place. You can find fresh food. Also, you will find very useful promotions. Good food and they have an excellent card of points, 5000 morepoints == £5. I always find what I am looking for. Good attention and internal cafeteria
R. O. W.
Love the variety of products and their bakery is great
J. c.
I went after work to donate some food bank by buying a donation bag, but i was told they had sold out. How do you sell out, it food in a bag. Half the staff didnt even know what i was talking about.
D. W.
Very good store with a lot more offers on lately,I think in going to do my regular shop there now
K. S.
Plenty of parking but shelves s little bare at times. If you are doing a family shop there are a few manned checkouts usually with queues otherwise it is scan yourself on unreliable units.
S. A.
Lovely store. Also love the pizza station at the back! Such good quality& tastes amazing
J. T.
Very large tidy store. Great fresh food and veg selection. Large frozen food Areas. Big alcohol selection. Also small selection of children and ladies clothes. Also house hold items. All at great prices. Wheel chair friendly store. Large free carpark.
V. H.
Really love their milk free cakes! The best I've found in supermarkets 😁 they lost a star because I'm disappointed they don't stock lemon cupcakes anymore, and they were my favourite..
T. W.
Morrison's is great place to shop. But the exit from the car park. It's like rough terrain, for goodness sake get the exit road repaired Morrison's or you'll be getting repair bills for people's cars.
Yes Morrison's car park exit repaired well done.
P. M.
Excellent quality food and a massive alcohol selection great value for money
K. B.
I love this store
Great range of fresh products at a decent price
Great covid measures in place
J. H.
Great store love it.
T. S.
Have a lovely cafe here and very reasonable cafe prices. Great for weekly or monthly food shopping. Good value for money. I love their flower and plant section.
M. H.
Didn't visit. Walking past after match day
J. J.
I was left feeling uncomfortable. I did what I thought was order cake and drink for 2 on the tablet, which was as far away from any staff member possible.
I did what I thought was right and go sit down with the red card with my number... 70.
15 mins I go ask where it is. gave the receipt and sat down. apparently I was supposed to pick up what I already paid for get my coffee and enjoy.
instead I was subjected to being treated by a school dinner lady of the Catholic pursasion whilst my neighbours had a 1/2 roast chicken. it looked awesome!
D. M.
Good cafe and fresh produce but staff are slightly unfriendly and rude in the main part of the store. All walking around gloomy and give you looks if you are 'in there way'. On the plus side cafe staff were lovely, smiling a lot. Would probably only come back for the cafe.
S. H.
Not a bad supermarket especially when they some good bargains so I tend to shop for those bargains. The good court is reasonably priced too love their full English breakfasts.
S.
Great service for the vulnerable during the COVID crisis. A lifeline priority delivery service. Special thanks to Marie for all your help with deliveries to home
A. W.
An excellent selection of foods. All tastes, preferences catered for. I get things here that i cannot find in other places that i shop
m.
There are few supermarkets available which have proper butchers sections as well as a wide range of unusual stuff in the other aisles.
Also, this is the only mainstream retailer I have ever found which sells mead, so this is a massive bonus.
Variety of kegs of beer and ale are available, but oddly this place doesn't sell household items such as candles.
Also, morrisons brand of microwave is fantastic, nukes the food in minutes.
C. P.
Ok supermarket. I like their "wonky" fruit and veg range, as so much cheaper than their own stuff and nothing wrong with it. A carrot is a carrot tbh. Some good offers on junk food, but not on the healthy food, which can get expensive. Never a great bakery section of rolls no matter what time you go in. I've changed shopping times frequently, but still poor. Never any brown rolls, so did ask if they'd ran out of flour one week. Was told "they hadn't got around to doing the brown products yet" and this was at lunchtime on a Saturday! Never enough staff to ask for anything. Plenty of parking.
J. W.
Typical branch of Morrisons this branch is a largest or I when specifically for the salad bar and the the drinks section both of which were easier to find and I'm a regular of this this branch of a supermarket I like the salad and the deli counter because it offers a lot of different options with food and and it's not going to cost a lot of money and it tastes great
M. J.
Clean and tidy, well stocked. Beautiful garden plants available
A. S.
Best supermarket to purchase a wide range of items for a cheaper price. All products are of great quality. Ambience in the supermarket is better than many other places in Leicester.
I. G.
Great for grabbing a quick lunch from the hot food and salad bar at the back. The restaurant is nice for a longer sit down meal.
The store could do with a revamp, it can look gloomy at times.
S. B.
Morrisons was always the place to get the best doughnuts, they never disappoint, until yesterday, when I bought a pack of custard filled doughnuts. I came back home and took a bite just to be greeted by a caramel filling... Caramel, what are you doing here?! I don't know how it ended inside up instead of custard (as far as Im aware, Morrisons dont even make caramel doughnuts). Please put a correct label on doughnuts, I feel cheated
L. C. (.
Great supermarket fish and meat especially good quality. Not my regular supermarket but when I do visit I'm pleased
L. H.
Do like Morrisons and quiet today. Great wine offer one of my favourites Blossom Hill Zinfandel 24£10 why thanks very much 🍷🍷
R. C. C.
This is a very good clean shop, sells groseries , fresh fish , meat , clothing, fresh veg , alchahol , freezer food , toileteries, and many other items,,
P. S.
Selection of alcohol currently are the best, their prices are unbeatable depending on choice. Clean tidy and accommodating.
W. Y.
Just another morrisons. Some of the security there, like to pretend that they are important but they are not
J. N. R. (.
Smashed it. Got exactly what I wanted, cheap !!!
G. W.
Excellent food and service, great for searching for reduced deals
R. E.
went to Morrison's the other week and bought some tinned tomatoes 12 for £3 so I bought 24 great value I also loaded about 15 ordinary tomatoes from fresh veg stall .
got to the till and was told that I had to open boxed tin toms and have them scanned individually I said its a joke .
so the girl on the till took 1 out of packaging and scanned it 24 times but the best was left to come when my loose toms went through and was asked how many I had , I said about 3 pound in weight but was told that they are sold separately for 15p.
the next time I was in the shop I went to buy a large plastic box of toms but they have stopped selling them
it a joke to put up prices
S. S.
Our local, never had any issues, usually well stocked
p. f.
The brother in laws weekly shopping trip
N. C.
Usually do my weekly shop at Sainsbury's. Have been getting dissatisfied with my visits there,so I thought I would give Morrisons a try.
Very ,very impressed with the Store. So much so I have decided to do my weekly shop there from now on. So much better than Sainsbury Shelves are stocked. Plenty of fresh fruit and veg. It was good to see members of the management team on the shop floor managing. It's way cheaper than Sainsbury. The shopping experience is so much better there. Would have given 5 stars but for Morrisons The Best British Steak Pie. It was revolting. Inedible pastry and very little filling.
N. C.
Lots of parking key cutting service lots of variety of foods
K. B.
Large format store. Large free car parking and an onsite petrol station. The store is easily accessible and carries an in depth range of food, groceries and general household goods. Fresh fish meat and bread are available and prepared in-store.
M. B.
Had my lunch here with my partner and 2 of my kids the staff where very very helpful and really kind to us all and the food was really nice definitely be going back well done to the staff there 👍👍👍👍👍👍
B. J.
Nice clean store. Staff friendly. Meat is fairly well priced an set out nice. I always buy my meat from here. Cafe is clean and serve food quickly
J. G.
In store now time 12.45 28th of March Debby she about 5f something short black hair tattoos on her right arm
FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! She did NOT GIVE UP ON LOOKING FOR ITEMS I NEEDED AND FOUND!!!!!
Debby is a Credit to Morrisons
THANKS SO SO MUCH
S.
You can buy stuff here
t. b.
Some cheap things but they mark down in price food they want to " unload" on its customers. Example; I bought a savoy cabbage for .50p with expiry date 28/12/17 great price BUT went prep it on 24th and it was all black on most leave,( within 2 days of purchase. Not fit for anything, most time their food is A 1. Will keep an eye on them.lol.
Tollybolly.
C. F.
The products are very expensive in comparison to other supermarkets. A basket of shopping can be as high as £80 and you don't really get everything you want. What's good about this shop is you can get stuff that you won't get anywhere else however.
J. B.
Great store best doughnuts ever mmmm
P. M.
Good food store, good prices. All the staff are good people, no great people .
Shame about the persistently dirty cups/mugs, and coffee machines not working.
THIS IS A REAL LET DOWN, we were told " no salt for the dishwasher" ??????????
This week no serviettes.......just a kitchen towel.
m. m.
Not really rating restaurant as its the worst one I've used my child wasn't allowed a straw to drink her juice the shop it self always clean and tidy and friendly staff rating for shop three but cafe big zero
p.
Morrison's has been the best of the supermarkets during this time... lots of help, lots of space, queue never too long and only occasionally out of stock of the items I needed.
A. A.
LOVE this Morrisions- it has everything we need (if we can't get it online that is). It is only unfortunate that it is not as close to our home as the Tesco...still this is our brand and this is one hell of a shop! The set up is great and the deals are fantastic
w. b.
Shopping is all about fun
N.
I find Morrisons is a really nice supermarket the produce is always very good the staff are helpful and friendly, but for me and the reason for 3 stars is because at times it can take ages just to get out of the car park, why you only have one exit which is controlled by a set of lights is ridiculous please please sort this out Morrisons and end the frustration
A. P. J.
Good place to purchase most varieties of international food. Friendly staff. Lots of parking space.
P. S.
Its still got a bit too go before I feel safe shopping there, its madness the minute you enter,
People everywhere with little to no care of social distance,
They really need to try and control the environment better,
Especially with lockdown being put in place,
a. j.
Well organized.not many people like other supermarkets.wonderful experience and very happy shopping there.
P. L.
Good selection of fresh foods and veg was impressed with their potatoes, Pizza and fresh meat but I have given 4 stars because it is an expensive shop.
M. L.
It's the most nearest Morrisons to me, so don't really have anything to compare it to. I don't usually shop there to be honest. But it was a nice enough store
S. H.
Each supermarkets have their own strengths. Like Morrisons for the alcohol range and their reduced food. Good quality food and reasonable prices for their gins. Good choice for gin and wines. I shop in various supermarkets and only recently discovered Morrisons....like them.
R. P.
Great store, very organised with distancing and the like. Lovely friendly greeter at the door and very helpful lady at the till. It was a pleasure shopping here.
K. A.
You definitely want to shop here. Good customer experience and varieties of choice to pick from.
S. M.
Good selection of food and drink. Very reasonable prices. Value for money. Definitely will continue to shop here.
N. W.
Only popped in for petrol, well priced fuel and not very busy for a Friday morning. Easy to get to and find if you're staying in the Holiday Inn at the King Power Stadium, Leicester City's ground as we were, ideal filling up shot before your onward journey.
M. D.
Great place to shop for groceries, lots of choices available
A. M.
Their desserts are awesome. I went there specifically for this. Worth the trip.
Facilities are good and parking is good as well
N. G.
Average supermarket. Sometimes their produce is left rotting on the shelves but they do occasionally have some good bargains. One thing they do well is their doughnuts. Fresh and plenty of flavours.
D. M.
The main thing this branch of Morrisons has going for it, is its location. If you're on the south side of Leicester's city centre, it's easily accessed, has good parking, and is close to a couple of pubs and a cinema. It has good public transport connections too, as many bus services heading out of town toward Saffron Lane and Aylestone (and beyond) stop there regularly.
The store itself is quite dated. It was previously a Safeways and the main improvements since then are the addition of self-service checkouts. Other than that, the store is as it always was - okay if it's your only option, but prone to running out of stock on essentials (especially fresh produce) during busy periods.
A. S.
Great shopping venue with lots of available parking. Very busy but there is always a short queue. I like the fact that they always have charities at the entrance which means they are a caring shop.
K. E.
Simply put - you're likely to find it at Morrisons, at a good price and there are enough hands including self-service to help make the shopping process fast!
C. D.
Good store not massive but had a good range of products
P. W.
Bought the Black Talapia Fish for £6 and its worthy it , lots of meat
E. P.
Great place for groceries shopping and fresh fish shopping
S. I.
Good range of most products. Don t shop here very often as a bit further away than my regular supermarket. Surprised at the limited choice of decaffeinated coffee
N.
Good selection of food at low prices but told to use basket tills which had queues and hadn't been cleaned, yet the other tills had no customers, bit odd.
P. K.
Good selection of food items some of which is not available at other stores. Looking forward to the Morrisons opening at Glenfield, Leicester. Petrol station already open.
N. K.
Not sure how I feel about it yet... Prices are okay ish. Product range is excellent. Freezers are below temperature so frozen products are malleable.
D. B.
I love shopping at morrisons every chance I get even before work or after I finish my shift and on my day's off it has good quality food at affordable prices there's always something to buy in morrisons you can't go in this store to buy one item as you will always come out with more. The staff are very helpful nothing is to good for them to help you with hurray for morrisons.
H. K. (.
It OK not too many offers
N. B.
In the main ok but can never get half shoulder lamb at Leicester store.asked staff about this told only sell what we get,at coalville store almost always available.was told by Leicester "Well they are bigger store than us"I almost agree but it is a long way to travel to get said shoulder so what gives?
L. L.
Clean and tidy. Helpful and friendly staff. Happy to help when you need it. Can become a little busy especially on match days but still not too bad to shop here.
S. L.
I used to go here most days in my free periods. Great variety of food for students on their breaks. Also similar to any supermarket, allows local community to visit and buy stuff.
S. H.
We find that the meat is good value for money and some other things are good like there 🍩
A. O.
Difficult to say whether there has been much improvement since I last visited Morrison few months ago. Special offers items have gone down. Halal foods rack I could not find although a sizeable number of clients are Muslims. I think Morrison will be struggling to hold its position within the supermarket league unless it does something IMMEDIATELY.
R. R.
Plenty of car parking space and plenty of in store fresh vegetables and fresh daily Bakery products available. Fuel station next to the store come in handy.
D. H.
Easy parking, well marked aisles, very knowledgeable staff, great experience.
S. 1.
Good place to buy groceries with low prices
B. G.
Excellent salad bar, now open!! Great value and well stocked too.
S. D.
Nice clean supermarket stocked shelves plenty of parking
i.
Really happy with my past few visits here. Everything is very well organised. There's a cafe there for those interested and the service had no faults. Plenty of places to park too!
c. k.
Always good to shop at morrisons
R. S.
Good store easy to get round good selection. Nice cafe very friendly staff. Would recommend.
A. M.
Very crowded but generally like morrisons quality, a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for.
N. H.
I bought a whole salmon ( not common in other place) at amazing price from here. Good parking.
C.
It's Morrisons. Sells stuff like other supermarkets. Not sure if there are more reasons to shop here though as some stuff is more expensive. Have a great alcohol section though which helps any shopping experience.
J. B.
Always happy with my shopping. Very good quality and always fresch meat. Good prices and deals. Very helpful and friendly staff.
J. D.
Good clean supermarket. Vs
My say much about different Morrison store petrol station. Prices on petrol varies by5 p a litre from one store to another.
E. C.
Good supermarket, but a bit expensive compared with some other ones (Tesco, Lidl...)
R. Y.
Well laid out easy to navigate , 0signage good. Sufficient mobility aids for the disabled shopper, plus courteous helpful staff.
L. T.
Staff are friendly and the products are of good quality. Checkouts can be slow.
C. B.
In 2005there were 2 shelf's with ready to eat products, at present more then half supermarket.
M. S.
Happy with the shop but check your car before and after if you park in their carpark. My car got badley damaged and there is no camera to trace the offender . I had no support from the management .
L. T.
Sublime mix of tempting produce, spacious car parking, plus the added advantage of a petrol filling station.
P. T.
Love this store lots of offers here fruit and vegetables very tasty cold meats very good house plants look healthy will go more often wheelchair friendly
S. D.
Its Morrisons what else can I say. I like their fruits and veggies. Plenty of parking free for upto three hours. Guaranteed to get the cheapest fuel and its close to both UNIs specially to the Leicester university. They have a Caffe inside, you can pay contactless and both self and manned check out.
M. V.
Called in a few times for lunch when working in Leicester. Always had a good meal, lovely fish and chips today. Staff always friendly.
J.
Nice clean super market. Normally have everything I need in stock and the staff are helpful.
H. F. A.
Car park easy and quick to get in and out .toilets are in the foyay before you enter the supermarket which is good when you are bursting ,you dont have to fight your way through shoppers to spend a penny .As for the products i find the fish is good .
-. M.
The cappuccino was kinda cold but still good
J. H.
Good shopping , Lunch very good ,one complaint got home only to find security tag on my wife's jeans still in tack, so another trip back to the shop to get it removed, that's my 5p off my diesel gone .
D. A.
I'm not happy it seems every time I do my shopping there is nobody on the fish mongers counter there should be a bell to ring so they know people are waiting most times I just walk away there never seems anyone around to ask I know there may be staff shortages .
T. P.
Always ample parking, sometimes have good offers, average pricing, the fresh salad bar is their selling point for me though.
I. A.
As we were out of town, went here for brunch. Their restaurant is very good value for money. If you have shopped in any of their stores...you know what to expect.
P. R.
We had a breakfast, at morrisons, I had a veggie, my husband had a traditional one, both hot and tasty, definitely have another one, soon
G. R.
Reasonable prices, good fruit and veg and very helpful checkout staff, unlike Aldi where you think you are stuck in a 70s TV game of trolley dash.
T. H.
Good choice of products, friendly helpful staff.
Nice store set out, easy to find what you want.
E. F.
Strong selection and decent prices. Ample parking, and good staff presence on tills. Self service tills are well managed and great for a speedy checkout!
S. M.
Large store with convenient parking both in it's own car park and Freeman's Common next door. Nice range of craft beers and international foods.
T. C.
I jogged to my local morrisons for a parcel, that's the first time i have jogged there without using my car, which is great for me and the climate conditions which makes a slight difference to the world..
D. H.
Great for the special offers on Great products
C. K.
Quick dash round but all the usual suspects available.Dont normally shop at Morrisons but was surprised how good value it is.Parkinf very busy and a bit confusing getting in and out.
M. J.
Excellent place for quality items & plenty of parking space by the store.
l. c.
Generally I like this place. Could be stocked up better at times and better deals. They have a good vegetarian section better then most supermarkets.
r. b.
Convenient for me to nip into whilst my son is at training. I can pick up some different items that are not available locally.
M. B.
Always use morrisons I like the fresh fish, bread, meat & cakes and it's nice to get a bit back with your more card keep up the good work.
C. M.
Good but one way traffic need guidance from a member of staff and more announcements
a. l.
A very quite shop staff are kind and understanding
H. M.
This was a visit after a very long time and nothing has changed since my last except for the prices i was somewhat disappointed not to able to find more free range chicken and other free range options.
A. C.
Good quality products. Offers sometimes don't reflect their website. Some items often out of stock
E. S.
I had jacket potato with beans cheese and salad and my husband had half roast chicken dinner and we would recommend there's meals to anyone
M. R.
Standard of fresh bakery is amazing as always. Freshly cooked meats good to. Staff very helpful. 👍
M. R.
Popped in for a coffee and a bacon butty which was excellent. Served by a very friendly staff member and thoroughly enjoyed food and drink.
Z. S.
Great place to shop, a little pricey.
S. B.
Polite staff, manager very helpful and plenty of vegan stuff to choose from

A. K.
Good parking and decent sized supermarket, not too big or small, with a great food selection and nice food café. Petrol usually good value here too.
G.
It's just another run of the mill large Morrison's. Staff are as you'd expect, got pretty much what you'd expect from a supermarket of such size. Also has a Morrison's cafe, for those interested.
j. o.
Best cheese selection of any of the big Supermarkets.
N. G.
I love the variety. You have 10 different varieties for one product. Not many vegan options
L. a.
Absolutely a one stop shop for most of your needs.
S. H.
Super big store. We enjoyed the café. Difficult to move around in front of the café.
S. D.
The biggest thing I like about Morrisons is that they don't change the layout of the store. I don't shop here weekly but when I go in I know where the items I want are located. Not the cheapest but some decent deals on at the moment
y. a.
Great place for all your groceries ,also has the lottery terminal ,dry cleaners ,halal meats and many many other things even I'm still learning lol...
M. M. B.
Not been to Leicester Morrisons for a long time but was presently surprised not to busy.
s. e.
It's a super market larg and spacious
T. F.
Was able to get what was needed not to full in side and most people keeping to rules
A. D.
Big store, salad bar is good for lunch
M. S.
Very Nice experience with Morrisons today, not overcrowded and all stock on shelves
T. J.
Lovely store, helpful pleasant staff, good prices and everything you need

Best thing about it is the fresh fruits and veg, the fish section.
Й. О.
Our first visit in three years. Not as good as before quite disappointed
l. d.
Very happy staff 😀cheerful all time
B. W.
Good parking, good selection and prices. Can get quite busy during the week days as students from the nearby Leicester College Freeman’s Park Campus pop in and out all day during breaks
R. A.
Nice big place found what we needed
J. A.
Staff very friendly and found everything I needed quickly. Shelves stocked and few gaps so products available.
J. S.
Good selection. Meats are not the cheapest when compared elsewhere
P. B.
Got some things I wanted but there was no 6 x boxes of long life skimmed milk. Otherwise it looks to be a good supermarket.
R. C.
It's a decent supermarket and I particularly like the meat section. Well thought out and always find a treat for my dogs
A. B.
Great choice of produce at reasonable prices and friendly staff. Nice cafe and plenty of choice for lunch times.
A. P.
Ok for quick stop over. Full of students. Tills can be busy. Really made for students from nearby university.
B. M.
Well located, knowledgeable staff. Located is in a retail park, so although parking is free & plentiful, existing the park can be (and is) time consuming.
D. W.
Great supermarket with plenty of choice good quality fresh food plus friendly staff.
E. K.
Bit of a dump, car park often a mess and theres regularly trouble from unsavoury characters, some of the fresh food is also gross
S. E.
Typical supermarket some things dearer something's cheaper but have to say staff seem much more friendly and happy to help so more pleasant experience.
G. K.
Very good 👍
I. P.
Easy to find items. Cheap and cheerful
c. t.
In comparison tesco south wigston and asda fosse park it is quite small. And tends to be rammed on weekends. Best time to shop is week nights.
P. B.
Shopping was OK, would avoid the in store cafe.
N. M. M.
Great choice of organic fruits and vegetables, nice selection of plants and good quality products.
D. C.
Thank you so much to Donna in the Freemans common, Leicester Branch.
Donna went above and beyond to help me today, on one of the busiest days of the year.
