On 14/02/2022, I came in store with a service user to pick up some bits dinner. The service user has learning disabilities and very challenging behaviour. It was extremely busy in store and every queue for the tills were extremely long. The service user was getting very anxious and as they were non verbal, was getting in my face through frustration. I tried repeatedly to calm them down by explaining what was happening. A member of staff (unfortunately didn’t catch a name), came over and asked if everything was ok. After explaining she asked me to follow her. She opened a till so I could get out quickly. I just wanted to thank her as it could easily have escalated. So thank you so much and your actions were greatly appreciated 💜

If anyone from Tesco actually reads these reviews then here goes..... If only people shopping here used the car park then maybe I wouldn't struggle to find a parking space, also so many people park in mother & child spaces when they clearly don't have kids with them something should be done about watching those spaces and telling these selfish individuals to move. There's not much choice of Frozen food so I have to go to Iceland for that which is a shame. The 3 stars are for the checkout staff who are always friendly

There is a good selection of groceries, toiletries and everyday items. Parking is decent for a city supermarket and queues typically aren't an issue in my experience. There are plenty of self-checkout systems to use. While the place does generally look clean I have visited before where I found shards of glass left on the floor for a considerable amount of time.

Spotlessly clean store with an excellent range of products. The fresh fruit and veg are very fresh indeed and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the ones on the fish and meat counters. Take a look in the morning when the fish has just been laid out on the ice - the display looks like a work of art. Best supermarket in Leicester!

Quite small for a superstore but has mostly everything you need. I had an issue where I got overcharged, but after some perseverance it was sorted - the team leader in particular was very helpful, and I got double the amount back which was very kind! Loses a star because CS were a bit unhelpful at first, and also they seem to be a bit lazy with the baskets, so I often have to go to a till to get one as there's none at the front of the store. Overall a good store though.

Very good collection of food stuff. Biggest superstore on and around Narborough road. There is a toilet inside. Free cash machine, good parking space, cycle stand. Nearby bus stops. A pharmacy, a fresh fish cut shop and bakery inside.

I do my weekly shopping here almost every week but last week I was very disappointed. I bought pork chops with 4 days before use by date. Cooked the same nightwhen bought but when I opened oven, the smell wasn't pleasant. Didn't even try to taste it.

Good shop has almost everything you need. 2 Problems: - With the £3 meal deal you only have the option to choose some fruits for snack or crisps. Whilst in other Tesco Express and competitor shops there is the option to choose Fridge Raiders chicken snack. Please diversify your menu. - NO BASKETS! BUY MORE BASKETS PLEASE. Everytime I walk into the store there are no baskets available, and if there are they're usually in a big pile next to the self-checkout queue because someone didnt put them where they're supposed to be.

Parking good and Tesco produce I like the bakery department,the staff are brilliant, however I only gave 3stars as I have been approached on two occasions at the Narborough Road store by a young person in a hoody asking for money it can be intimidating as she gets very close I have made security aware and they did ask her to leave on the first occasion but clearly she is not afraid to come back more needs to be done.

I have come here twice recently to get something which I had checked beforehand was listed on the Tesco website as being stocked by Tesco but, on arriving here, I have discovered this store - which Tesco designates as a "Superstore" but in actuality is more like a larger Tesco "Express/Metro" version with a somewhat larger range of stock - didn't carry the item and, on enquiring with Staff who confirmed the non-stocking both times, told me to try the much larger stores at Beaumont Leys, Hamilton or Wigston (I managed to get them at the Wigston store both times). So be aware of the shortcomings of this store and check with it before you travel to save a wasted trip which the free on-site parking doesn't compensate for.

It is a large food store, located in a very strategic place in the city and moreover it has a square on front, used a very large car park despite being near a large road junction that connects the city to various very significant point of the city center. In this Tesco supermarket, you will find everything, even food products from abroad and of good quality. There is also a department of the shop,entirety dedicated to first aid medicines I would like to say that the quality of drugs is not excessive, but sufficient for the treatment of the symptoms of seasonal and no serious diseases. There is also the sector dedicated to feed and care of your pets; it includes a wide range of food and no famous brands. From here it seems appropriate to spend a few words for the home and clothing sector which is not exercise, in my opinion ,but very interesting .The staff is very helpful and kind to all customers. Needless to say, this is a food center, which offers food products chosen and selected by the best -known food industries .... there fore, we cannot pretend to buy at prices more convenient.

It is NOT a Superstore. As the years roll on, it ia adopting an attitude of choice relating to profitability. A MASSIVE amount of OWN LABEL products are simply NOT DISPLAYED. Draw up a list and see where it doesn't get you. ( A real shame. It got off to a roaring start. Clearly those people have gone. )
