We find budgens quite expensive, asked staff for some items,didnt know what they were,e.g (piccalili) never heard of it? More staff training I think!

Such a handy local store with all the essentials. Sometimes a bit more expensive but the convenience of the location along with parking availability make it worth it. Staff are helpful and work hard to keep the shelfs stocks. Never have to wait too long in a queue either.

Hi yesterday 15th October called in budgins to get a few items, I noticed it was so cold in there,so much so I could not wait to get out of there,I mentioned this to a member of staff which relayed it back to the boss in front of me,he did not speak or look at me all he did was smile at the cashier and walk of,The 3 stars are for the people what have to work in these conditions.xx

The new owners have made a massive difference to this very popular shop. Good selection of fruit, veg, breads & cakes. Thats just the top of the list. The assistance are young and helpful. Most of the shoppers are friendly and chatty too. I personally enjoy that too.

Prices higher than the main supermarket chains, check the sell by dates, a lot of items should have been off the shelves. Check your receipt, often miss special offer prices.

Quick and simple ... it's not the cheapest supermarket... but at the Sam time it's bad a Waitrose price either ... in fact it like shopping in the coop but a larger range.
