I adore this supermarket. They have so many tasty products, including brioche croissants with sausages inside, and other brioche bread with pork and curry chicken. I get very excited about brioche croissants because you can only find them in Portugal, and i prefer them over puff pastry croissants. Once you try brioche croissants you wont want the puff-pastry croissants. My favourite is the fresh fish and other sea food. AMAAZING.

A decent shop at the end of Chinese Arc area in Liverpool centre. The shop offers variety of Asian foods, ingredients, instant noodles, sauces, and so forth. You may find Malaysian, Thai, Indonesian, Viet, and Korean brands here, which probably difficult to find in other stores. You can walk from the Liverpool One bus station 10 minutes or take a circular bus number 26 from the station.

A great supermarket for all things Chinese and some Korean.Lots of frozen dim sum,a great variety of fresh and frozen prawns and fish, fruit and veg that you wont find in Asda or Aldi,also bargain prices on bags of herbs and spices much cheaper than those branded little jars.So support local business and pay a visit.

My go to Chinese supermarket in Liverpool. Loads of choice and friendly staff. Fresh veg, dumpling, sumi mai, noodle, sauces, spices and seafood selections are excellent. Always get 3 random packs of snacks to play 'Crisps! on the radio!' (BBC 6 music) with the kids for the journey home!

Absolutely great place. Good selection of fresh and frozen food from all over asia, also has some Eastern European stuff too. Friendly and helpful staff, decent prices. I've never been and not been able to get what I needed. Stocks the best Chiffon cake in Liverpool!

Finally visited a store which sells Filipino products especially seasonings. There are many stores here selling international products but this is the only one with filipino soy sauce and condiments. If you are a Filipino, come visit here.

I LOVE this supermarket. It’s got almost everything you need for SEA cooking. And then some more bits thrown on top. Extensive freezer section and more dumplings, edemame, and gyoza than I know what to do with. Reasonably priced, excellent selection of food stuffs, both fresh and tinned.

I live around the corner from this great store and frequent it regulary .staff are very helpful and ever so polite and they stock food from right across Asia . Even sell electricals to do with cooking rice and steamers alongside thousand of condaments from across the worlc i love this store .

If your looking for asian imports they have almost anything I reccomend picking up some pocari sweat. Little bit citrusy but has an acquired taste. But you can pick almost any eastern ingredient for any delicious meal

I went to this supermarket today this morning at about 10.30 am. I ask a gentleman for Malaysian curry powder he guide me and show me where it is. He is a well mannered young chap. i always prefer going to this supermarket than the ones that are local to me in manchester as it has a decent car park, more variety and i could always find what i wanted therefore I never was bothered with the 1 hour drive. unfortunately this will be my last time going here as i have found the new staff at the til were tossing the items i bought to me which i was not impressed with as had fragile items and a little rude shouting at me to take my items out of the basket even the person infront of me looked a bit surprised. i know it sounds petty but it has really put me off coming back here so taking 1 star away for that it is a shame as the store is in a good location, has free parking and a fantastic variety.

My 2nd visit yesterday. 1st visit back in the mid90s. Got here on foot as an off chance to see the merchandise . Ended getting a wok to gift to my boy off to university in Sept. Hope he has a lot of happy cooking memories from it in the years to come. Would have wanted to spend longer but as we got in just before closing time we had to exit pronto. It's a good find if you are into southeast Asian cooking. And yes they have a descent car park for customer use.

Chung Wah is my favourite food shop in Liverpool and one of the best I've been to in the country. This supermarket has everthing you could want for Chinese, Japanese, Korean dishes... and more! My tastes have always been very varied due to a diverse upbringing and Chung Wah allows me to make everything I could want with ease and quality. They offer a huge range of food from Asia, with the essentials such as noodles (even delicious yam noodles), rice (every variety imaginable) and lots of tasty meat and tofu. There is a large section dedicated to making soup stock too, including a selection of dried mushrooms. They also stock plenty of desserts, from taiyaki and red bean buns to my personal favourite: mochi! I am mochi-mad, I could eat them all day long. So good and they have lots of flavours such as red bean, green tea, taro, peanut and even grape. The drinks selection is just as impressive. The shop sells a HUGE range of different teas in varying quantities so you can always give new ones a try. The brown rice tea is a favourite of mine. Further along they stock canned drinks from around Asia as well with Pocari Sweat, Pokka and even a gorgeous Chinese Sarsaparilla. Overall, Chung Wah is food HEAVEN. It's like you're in China, that's how good it is. It's an essential place to get your food for the week, without a doubt. I would be here every day if I could.
