A decent supermarket with in-house bakery and halal butcher counter. Poultry seems to be cheaper than in Tesco or Sainsbury’s. I love their selection of fancy sausages. Produce with the “use by date” next day is reduced throughout the afternoon and can be found at the end of the vegetable, or the meat aisle, respectively. Unfortunately, there is hardly any staff on the floor, if you need any help.

I just get what I want and move on. However, this shop was amazing during lockdown. The staff were incredible. Not sure supermarket staff were give enough credit for what they had to endure from customers during shortages. Good in general but some members of staff went above and beyond.

It has all the basics and a bit more. It doesn't carry a wider range as the Leyton Mills branch. Price is always good andso is the quality Got three packs of chicken for £10. That is impressive.

Asda has pretty good selections. Wine starting from £3 which is good. Great frozen food selection including world foods. Walthamstow is a diverse area and the store reflects that in food choices. Stationary and toys, kitchenware, bedding, household goods are also available.. I actually travel to go there. Large store situated in the Mall. Lovely staff usually.

Always a great shop.I have noticed that a product range is always improving and getting better with every few months. Staff are quite knowledgeable and know where everything is. New tills have been installed, which are easier to use and faster. Till area is also expanded so more space to avoid bumping in to other Customers.

Nice enough shop. Always full shelves and an OK variety of products (it's not a big shop) BUT the Slimzone Frozen Food is the worst ever frozen food I ever tasted in my life. I tried more salt, more pepper, garlic powder and nothing.... The same watery taste. VERY disappointing.

Quite busy store and is located inside Walthamstow shopping mall and queue control is perfect as security is there to give direction to shoppers because the asda store is very close to other popular brand within the complex.

Always lovely shopping in Asda Walthamstow, can find what you need. Reasonable prices, clean store and well set out so everything is easily found. There was literally no one queuing at the tills. There was plenty of stock of everything, including flour, yeast, rice, pasta etc. Very quiet considering lockdown.

Whatever you're looking for Asda is really just the ultimate shop and although this store doesn't have furniture and home appliances unlike some others, the variety and truly low prices really make up for it. I love the aisle that incorporates some traditional ingredients from around the world. It's dedicated to promoting different tastes to cater for all preferances and although here isn't a huge variety I believe it's a good start that not many other shops have caught up to. The layout is simple and everything is easy to find even though the store is quite large and overall the staff are willing to help and guide you anyway. A highlight is the appropriately priced Halal meats section which is amazing because unlike some places it's not too pricey and is great quality. The bakery is also fantastic because it's always fresh and tasty but may be a bit more expensive than expected. There are premium products as well as own-branded which allows all budgets to shop at Asda and expect goodness regardless of price. Their alcohols are varied with lots of choice for typically expected prices and the updated design and decor is a real improvement. It's mainly automated self-checkout kiosks used yet they're easy to navigate. The car park in the mall and the food court,closed on date of publishing, are lso amazingly convenient making the laborious shopping duty a bit easier to handle.

I love shopping at Asda. I also do alot of click and collect of george items but its always so so busy. Theres always only one lady managing the customer service counter all by herself and ive ALWAYS had to wait a good 10-15mins just to get my items.

Good range of things here! Nice bakery and I love the Salmon at the fishmongers! Gets quite packed at checkouts because of the large self service aisles but pretty happy doing our weekly shop here!

Typical Asda store, not the biggest. Stocks most of the everyday groceries plus a few specialist goods. Mainly self serve tills with a couple of attended tills thrown in. You will need to park in the Mall car park if you are driving.

Location is very handy being near the bus station but I only shop there for a few extra items in the week because I hate self-service tills and there are too few manned tills so you have to queue for ages if it's busy. Also aisles aren't labelled clearly. I spent ages trying to find the gluten free products because I couldn't find the sign or a member of staff to ask. On a good note the gluten free bread rolls they sell are pretty good but I can probably get them in other stores too.

Great staff. Please improve the WiFi as one cannot use the phone to pay if you want us to use the shop and pack app witch I have downloaded couldn't use as the 4g doesn't work in the shop so can't pay by phone let alone the new app. I shouldn't have to turn on the WiFi I should be able to use 4g. It works in Sainsbury's very well saves a lot of time there app.

I’m sure everyone is aware of ASDA’s popularity, so no matter what I say for the brand of the supermarket it won’t be something new for you. What makes great the specific store in Walthamstow and why I gave 5 stars is because of the staff. Every single time I went, I had the best customer service. Employees are assisting every customer to change any product that it happens to be bad or if they forgot something etc while they are at the till, at the very same minute. Simple the best!

My first visit. Not overly impressed. Just another cheaper end supermarket. Lots of own brand stuff, quality unknown. Usual layout but not clearly signed so bit hit n miss. Long queues for cash desk only to find I'd queued up for self service ( which I detest ) Luckily we had our own bags cos there were none available. Won't be rushing back here...

A fairly large store located in the heart of Walthamstow good for both quick visits on the fly (with a prominent lunch section near the front of the store) and longer visits stocking a wide range of products. A bakery and a meet counter is present for fresh produce at reasonable prices. Special sections stocking foods from other cultures and parts of the world are also available. A large number of quick checkouts ensure you'll never have to wait long even when the store gets busy (which it certainly can on certain days). Toilets, free WiFi and wheelchair accessibility are all available. Overall a really good store at a wide range of products at great prices.

I would give 5 stars to the lady working at the customer service desk, when I collected my online order I received the best and most friendly customer service, she was very friendly, polite and genuine. Not sure of her name but I think she’s Romanian. But one thing I hate about this store is the baskets are so gross and filthy, sometimes covered in a sticky film of black grime. Yuk! Invest in new baskets please Asda!!
