Reviews of Camden Market
L. A.
Despite the weather, it turned out beautifully because of the people. I was there in 1998 and Oh boy everything was the same exciting vibes but lots of changes. Loved every seller I talked to and genuinely good karma around the areas. Loved the energy, the music and happiness. Bringing my younger daughter to visit a place where people are colourful and arts of all sorts is fantastic. Thank you Camden Town.🙏🌟💐💖🎆🎊🎉

It’s a place full of vibrant colours & culture. Food stall all around. Many shops around selling clothing, jewellery, perfume, shoes, home decors, furniture n many other things u can buy here from all over the world as this place is full of cultural stuff. Love the location just at the edge of Camden lock on Regent Canal. Like to see boats all around, eat n drink places. This place is like heaven in summer even till midnight.best place to visit n explore in London.

Such a different place to ho in London. A must go! The market is so interesting with so many variety of products and food. Id say food from around the world. The graffiti looks good. Makes Camden town very unique

Not how I remember it from my youth! Lovely buildings, loads of history and the canal on the doorstep. However - full of touristy tat shops and not so much the vintage clothes and new age stuff I remember. Good street food stalls with plenty of free tasters. The statue of Amy Winehouse is…. Interesting 🤨

Very nice place to explore. Will see different varieties of food, bags, culture, perfumes, custom shoes shoes, real leather shops and much more. Really need some time to explore this place. I liked this place and it is highly recommended
G. C.
Appears upmarket with brick arch units after last visit being mainly market stalls.
Still has the Istanbul Market vibe.
Went via Little Venice water taxi, which was a good experience with a very knowledgeable guide that made the inexpensive trip different from the usual crammed tube. Definitely visit if not been before.

Camden Market is quite possibly one of the weirdest experiences of my life yet one of my best. So much random things to see. Lots to see, lots to eat and lots to drink. A lot of strange sights but it is a must to see. I look forward to returning this summer to see what’s changed. I also got my self a lovely bowler’s hat here.
K.
Camden Market is great, I think particularly for tourists to experience a second to none variety of food and craft trade. It was really exciting to see the canal, and the bridge with the functioning lock and there was plenty to do even when it began raining. We particularly loved the moomins and the antiques market where we found some really unique gems. It can be a little intense (I would definitely recommend wearing a mask) but I think everyone should come see what the market has to offer!!

Very busy. Great atmosphere and lots of places to see and great choice of places to eat. If you're new to London put this on your list. Weekends are usually the best time to visit.
D. D.
One of the best places to shop in the UK imho. An amazing eclectic mix of goods you just can't see gathered together anywhere else, plus the food stalls with cuisines from around the world are just amazing. It can get very crowded but so worth a visit!
P. B.
I love it, but others won't. All life is there. But a lot are preying on the tourist trade. Keep hands in pockets and think before spending.
P.S. Dutch pancakes with Nutella are great
P. N.
I really don't know how and why today was my first time here. Absolute gem of a place. RECOMMENDED!! There is so much to do, see, eat, experience.
The food, the food, the food! 👌🏿😍😋
There's something for everybody, vegan, pescetarian, vegetarian, carnivores 😂
You want to spend at least 3 hours exploring the different food stalls, taste food before you buy and just have a great time. Nice music in different parts of the market too.
See you next week and probably the week after 😂
D. R.
Talk about a multi cultured. This place is amazing just to walk around.
See the street performers. If shopping is your bag then you can’t go wrong here.
What ever you’re taste the nosh that’s on offer not only smells amazing but taste’s even better
Cheers

I think I left a bit of my heart in Camden. I loved the atmosphere, the lights and the food. Loved the mash up of subculture and the representation of different parts of society coming together to simply have a good time. Totally recommend!
M. M.
I love this place!!! so many shops. so much food. and they give out free sample. not only is the market super cute and fun, there's tons of stuff in the surrounding area. definitely worth a visit tourist or not. I wish I could bring my family to come see it!
M. G.
Fantastic place to visit, lovely atmosphere an array of shops to visit. Most of which are local vendors. The food stalls are incredible! Such a range from Chinese, to Indian, to traditional burgers! It is definitely worth visiting if you are in the area! Love that it isn't completely modernised and has kept alot of it's traditional look!
R.
A MUST VISIT ON A SUNNY DAY! Such a lively place to be with your friends. They have everything from local and variety of food to vintage and funky clothes. You can even buy antiques and gifts 🤩 One cannot get tired of this place ever! Just keep your belongings carefully as it does stay crowded 😅 GO AND SATISFY YOUR TASTE BUDS 🤍
B. C.
Walked here from Soho on a gloriously sunny November morning. Unfortunately we got to the market to early & most of the stalls hadn't opened which was a real shame. There are loads of unique booths selling nick knacks, souvenirs and food and beverages. We wandered around for an hour then strolled along the canal down to Kensington gardens by London Zoo then back to Soho. Around 7.5 miles in total
H. L.
Amazing place with a fun vibe. Food stalls were lovely just a shame we got there about 5 pm and most were closing.
We ate at the Argentine stall steak on potato wedges beautiful 😍
S. W.
Great food and good vibe but not like the street version . Couldn't find the outdoor market. Has that stopped. Can't help feeling this had a too much of a tourist edge to it being all idoors. The Cyberdog shop is wirh a visit.
I. F.
Best market in the world, for fashion and design shopping with lots of places to grab a bite.
K. B.
Fab time looking around lovely place unique shops

Camden Market has not lost it charm over the years. In fact it has improved with a new building by the canal which has a food court, rooftop terrace and toilets which are clean. The street food vendors are still offering lots of choices but prices have risen. The indoor market and stables offer lots of stores just make sure you bring lots of cash. Still has to be one of the best places in London to visit.
G. L.
Nice market.A lot of products. A lot and diferit food.

I love it, but others won't. All life is there. But a lot are preying on the tourist trade. Keep hands in pockets and think before spending.
P.S. Dutch pancakes with Nutella are great

Loved all the jewellery sections. I bought a lovely phone case from one of the stalls. Real handmade flower phone case. Beautiful food stalls.
A.
Amazing great place, with so much.
Street food, small independent stores!!
Love it, will go again and again
A. F.
I absolutely love the artisan markets around the lock and the street food places. The walk or cycle along the canal is such a peaceful thing to do to away from the hustle of the roads and paths. Its a shame there are so many souvenir tat shops, it's real over kill and I miss the clothing stores, there are still a few incredible independent shoe shops though and the new market in containers has some funky stuff.
S.
Absolutely love this place! So many cool shops and such a variety for food. Lovely place
v. f.
Great place to have a walk around, loads of different stalls & places to eat. Buzzing atmosphere with a diverse clientele. Excellent place to kick back & people watch, Quirky surroundings & fantastic street art.
T. B.
Really fun place with alot alot of shops.
It's got abit of everything so it's not jusg goth shops it's got 80s 90s and even spyed a 50s shop. I really recommend the cyberdog shop if you want a esperance!!!
Definitely a place I would recommend if you come to London.
V. B.
Camden market. Lovely hustle bustle place. Food and shopping are excellent and ample options to choose. Places for antique and leather items. A walk through the England culture, lifestyle, music, timelines. Great time spent over weekend. Crowded but that’s the plus point there.
I. O.
Loved all the jewellery sections. I bought a lovely phone case from one of the stalls. Real handmade flower phone case. Beautiful food stalls.

Really great market, with many incredible food stores. The Camden Market munch club was really good to get well priced food. Found many gluten free options, Arepas, Birria Tacos, fried chicken, halloumi fries and galettes. Many more food options for all tastes too! The area has a lovely canal to sit by or walk along, and there are great facilities too.
林.
Huge and many different things that can see , many stores, jewellery, clothes, vintage, Chinese, street food. a good place to spend the day.
A. H.
Visited Camden for the day. Conveniently sited next to the Lock and 5 minutes walk from underground station. Plenty of stalls but goods like costume jewellery, news signs and prints were very similar which led to some boredom, others were more interesting like Japan shop selling comic book figures and the antique/Bric a Brac stall. Units are inside and outside and there is plenty of takeaway food to be found from all around the world. The Amy Winehouse memorial statue is also there next to Hans and Gretel sweet shop. The 2ft Polish sausage baguette was amazing. Great day out but go early to avoid crowds.
P. B.
Always love this place, great atmosphere and fantastic shopping! I cold beer overlooking the canal is always a good stopping point to rest your feet!
S. S.
Nice Market to spend the day with friends and family, plenty of shops and food choice! Nice vibe! And if you take Jason's trip boat from Little Venice, even better!
a. a.
Incredible market with over 100 options to choose from, lots of halal options too. Go in big groups so you can try everything. Special shout-out to Bill or Beak who do great fried chicken and beef burgers!
J. W. (.
Hadnt been to Camden market in years and was astounded at the vibrancy of the area. Lots of independent vendors, eateries and the most unusual collection of people you'll ever have the pleasure to rub shoulders with.
B. P.
One of my absolutely favorite places in London. I love the urban vibes, the alternative places to shop and eat, and the whole ambience overall. You can't miss this place.
S. F.
Great food stalls delious. Lots of jewelry stalls and clothes, not very good if you want to sit down and eat not much seating but overall an awesome experience
M. M.
Love this place soooooooo much, great selection of products although with sports direct moving in makes its feel too commercial then from the individual stores on offer. Love the food around the lock area
Y. M.
Great place for a stroll/day out, has little shopping stalls with different types of clothing /items which you probably can't find elsewhere. The umbrella design is really cool - definitely worth checking out once and good for photos. The market itself has a large variety of food and drinks - although a little on the expensive side, worth it if you want to try something new or different!
V. S.
Came here after seeing hot chocolate recommendations, I have to say it was quite good. The signature hot chocolate with the marshmallow was rich but not too sweet, it had a really good balance. It really felt like a dessert too as you make your way through the marshmallow first before tucking into the chocolate. This was so unusual but worth trying. The service was great, only took a couple minutes and it was a great experience all round.
V. A.
What a wonderful place, so vibrant and colourful. You can find everything here, from shoes and clothing to all kinds of creative jewelry and artwork. Absolutely loved it!
A. M.
Well. I've heard of this place but we booked a table in Shaka Zulu. We we're a little early so thought we'd have a wonder around. Wow. We didn't expect all this street food outlets everywhere. Truly amazing. We wished we didn't book at shaka Zulu. Lots of little shops also. Really worth a visit. Like really. Especially at night.
D.
The famous, unique and vibrant Camden Markets. Here you'll find food, clothing, gadgets, furniture, and more. I had the pleasure of visiting during the Halloween period and what an awesome experience that was!
J. J.
Wonderful whimsical marketplace with plentiful shopping for Vintage, Thrift and souvenirs. It's also complemented with a wide variety of global delicious cuisine. A must see community...Cheers!
P. O.
Great food. The market is around the canal. It has variety of cuisine to offer.
S.
Have been visiting Camden Market for the last 15 years as I've always enjoyed the atmosphere. It is so very different today than in previous years. Much more polished now with far fewer stallholders in new upmarket buildings. Its still worth a visit but it has definitely lost some of its raw edginess and independent retailers. The food choices are amazing and varied and they have been putting in outside eating globes so you can still eat outside in the winter. We tried loads of food and bought lots of things you can't get in main stream shops so really enjoyed it!
B. 9.
This place needs to be visited when in London. The alternative vibe with gorgeous little stalls is a well worth morning spent. Go hungry and experience all that the food stalls have to offer. Insanely fresh meals from all over the world.
G. “. J.
Great place to explore...good deals at shops..haggle recommended..if your looking for hats..go to stall number 538, Mr Noor ,he has good quality items with low prices....food hall area nice especially the friendly Thai stall with good food...theres also Indonesian stall hidden in alleyway..
R. T.
Wall to Wall people and lots of different shops. Too many food stalls to make choosing easy, but all of it is good.
E. H.
Such a great atmosphere here. Unique, quirky and busy. The smells of all the food stalls in Camden Market is lush. We had the Greek food and it was so tasty. Kids had ice creams and waffles from Hans and Gretal. Lots of shops selling individual styles, hippy and quirky clothes, makes and inscence. Great to stand at Camden Lock Bridge and watch the barge come and go and people watch. Great day out
S. R. d. S.
I don't need to say much as Camden is famously awesome, i'll just say to check out the new side of Camden market: Hawley Wharf! It is beautiful, by the canal, has amazing views and the food is AWESOME! At saturdays they have this small produces market, just after the bridge on the right, that is so delicious that everyone needs to try, specially doughnuts from Doughlicious, they are another level!
S. B.
Such a busy vibrant place. Food choices were amazing and so many individual little shops to look around
g. f.
Never been before. Great atmosphere, great food and drink and plenty of goods to buy.
Great experience for all ages.
G. l. S.
Absolutely love Camden...there's a wide range of bars/clubs/restaurants some brilliant clothes and shoe shops there's pretty much something for everyone from young to old.. highly recommend visiting Camden ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I. K.
I can’t say enough great things about this place. If you’re a foodie and if you like sharing, snacking, trying new things - this is your place! It was absolutely crowded on a Saturday afternoon, but that’s to be expected. We had the Indonesian food, arepas, and some beer on the West side by the canal and a polish hot dog on the east side of the market. We would have probably tried more if the lines weren’t so long for some other spots. Definitely worth it regardless though!
C. R.
Great place. You can buy almost anything and the food stalls were incredible. I wish we could have sampled them all. Very crowded, but exciting.
T. W.
I think one hasn't visited London if they didn't come here. A very historical area, of course revamped and refitted for current times, but still very much characteristic of London. I didn't think I would like it before visiting as it seemed a little messy however, I was wrong! So much things to see, window shop (or shop for real), foods (loads of choices!) Highly recommended.
A. B.
Amazing experience. So many things to see and buy. The food stalls are from every corner of the world. There is everything for every palette. Love this place. Can't wait to come back!
C. H.
The feeling of 'home' you get when you feel at peace? Yeah well that's how I felt in Camden. Having never visited the place before, I felt rather overwhelmed with all the happiness running through my head.
Camden = Perfect!
G. K.
So much to see and do. Lirs of different shops/ stalls. Food stalls offering dishes from all around the world. Definitely kerp one busy for the whole day. Have to try the boat rides next time.
r. c.
Fabulosa🥳🥳gorgeous sunny day. Wonderful variety of stalls, new and old. Food galore. Went on boat trip to Paddington with smooth voiced Felix. Couldnt fault it. We'll be back!
L. M.
Love this place. Full of life & good vibes. Can take lots of nice photos here with all the pretty decorated buildings & artworks around
T. M.
Really nice place to visit, a lot of great and vintage stuff to be found here. Two of places that fascinate me was The camera Hut (where people can find vintage camera, postcard, etc), and Indonesian Food.
T. V.
An eclectic and amazing place to shop, and explore so many different artisans! One of my fav shopping locations... and I hate shopping
L. K.
Amazing atmosphere, definitely one of my favorite London attractions! You can find everything you need from this market - vintage clothes, leather works, local brands and much more. The variety of street food is rich, from Greek souvlaki to veggie burgers and topped waffles. Loved it!!
S. A.
So much variety of food especially halal. You want to try everything but cant as theres toooo much selection, but will hopefully be visiting again soon to try more food stalls and dessert places.
D. W.
Very busy in these pandemic times, but still a lovely place to visit, with a wide array of shops, restaurants and pubs to meet your desires. All walks of life can be found parading though the streets.
P. C.
Amazing place! Great food and atmosphere. Quirky shops and just overall a superb day out. Enjoy the photos of my recent trip to Camden Market.
C. E.
Definitely worth a visit to try international food and do some shopping 🛍
P. L.
It's not like it used to be but it is still a great experience and good shopping. The variety and quality of exotic street foods from around the world is hard to beat anywhere in the UK. Bring your wallet though it ain't cheap for a day out but we'll worth a visit.
D. W.
I love this place. The food is always great quality and the stalls are of great quality. The people there take pride in their goods and are happy to have a chat if you wish, nor over pushy. Lorarty jewellry is excellent and his skill is amazing
L.
Great place, loved all the quirky little stalls and food stalls lots of variety!!
M. M.
Love Camden Lock so Much,if you visit London it is a must see 100% you wont be disappointed! A Great market,huge..so many stalls, shops and amazing diversity, fashion & coolness 😊👏
L. D.
Awesome experience, tons of delicious food and small artsy shops.
A. R.
Every time I'm in London I go to the market, I love the atmosphere so much and always find something to buy for myself and gifts for loved ones. warmly recommended
A. G.
Brilliant place with loads to see and do. Can pass a few hrs just people watching alone. Loads of lovely and different food outlets with something for everyone. First time in Camden and we'll be back.
K. K.
The street food vendors are still offering lots of choices but prices have risen. The indoor market and stables offer lots of stores just make sure you bring lots of cash. Still has to be one of the best places in London to visit.I will highly recommend.
M. B.
Heard about it had to visit and did not disappoint. Its a vibrant energised environment with lots happening. Soon as you leave the underground and turn right youre net with culture and history and of course some very interesting scenery. Truly unique décor as shown in the pics and you're spoilt for choice in shopping with brands and bespoke skilled customisation of clothing. I loved this place there is a canal which you can ride in a barge and a food court boasting foods from around the world. Music on the streets and characters you get to meet truly opens your mind. There is a dedicated complex made from shipping containers house shops that sell up cycled or unique items made by the vendor. Ill come back again just for the vibe and just how innovative this historic market/town/borough is!
G. T.
Great place. You could spend all day on this fantastic place.
S. G.
Amazing place with loads of shops and food options. When its busy you run out of places to sit to eat but if you wait long enough one of the bubbles or benches might come free. There's tons of market type stalls selling clothes, trinkets, leather jackets, second hand tat and everything inbetween. Make sure you haggle for the best price possible.
Very crowded but you just have to accept that and go with the flow.
I had the falafel magic box which was vegan option and very tasty.
Everything was quite expensive, no dish under a £5, but if you do the rounds you can fill yourself up on free samples from all the stalls!
There was a water taxi bit didn't get to see how much or where it went.
Toilets were sort of ok, not the cleanest and some locks missing but alright if you're desperate. They were free when we went but did have a toll on the door (about 20p) that was currently out of use.
Great place to visit with a buzzing atmosphere.
A. L.
Nipped up to Camden to try some of the street food on offer. The food was very tasty and Camden Lock is guaranteed to offer a little hustle and bustle. The food was great, if a little slow at one of the vendors but the sun was out, so all was good.
j. g.
Got to be the best part of London to visit some great stalls in the market full of interesting bits of art and lots of random bits of retro and memorabilia, great selection of street food places if your in London make sure you get down here.
E. R.
Completely enjoyed the visit to the market which is strewn with all sorts of food and stuff to shop. The location at which the market is situated is quite pleasing. The food options for vegetarian is immense - with quite a bit of dessert options too. The market is quite vast and the small cobble streets remind of history. Though it’s super crowded and there are not much Covid protocols. However, I would thoroughly recommend a trip down here
Z. T.
The Market is bigger than I expected. There is lots to see and plenty to eat. The market is so beautiful. There's plenty of tables and pods to eat at.
J. C.
Camden Market was fantastic! There deffinately is a little bit of something here for everyone.
There is a Weatherspoons opposite the food stalls on the other side of the river, with outside seating giving views of Little Venice. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The food stalls were great too! We tried the Hallumi place and the food was lovely!
There are various stalls that sell a wide range of goods and souvenirs.
Hansel and Grettel is also a must if you are a fan of sweets and ice cream! They have indoor seating too, the perfect place to cool down and rest your feet!
I will 100% visit again 🤩
D. W.
If you dont go you are missing out... No buy no tissue!
A. B.
The vibe and markets are exciting. The Area is unique highly. The Food stores are amazing .
M. A.
Vibrant place with plenty of shops and restaurants. Great for teenagers as many shops sells funky t shirts, shoes and hoodie.
S.
Such a huge selection of street food was so spoilt for choice. Loved the corn dogs and churros. Loved the market buzz and atmosphere, at times it felt like I was in another country!! Highly recommend.
G. W.
Really enjoyed Camden market, there’s so much to enjoy. Food on Asian alley was incredible and well priced. Loved meeting Zombiepunk he’sa nice lad. Our fave store was the rave store with the dancers I can’t remember the name but it was ace. Also there’s so much in terms of clothing so many different looks ect. I can’t wait to go back
N.
One of the should go place in London, explore the different culture and food! So many interesting things out there . Prepare to spend at least half of the day , you can pop into Primrose Hill just a walking distance from camden, you can walk along the canal !
A. M.
My new favourite place!! Loved the atmosphere, the diversity and the whole vibe of the place. A few stall holders were abit pushy but most were so friendly. Can't wait to go back!
A. M.
Lovely spot in London with food from across the world and some really quirky shops and stalls. Easy to get to from Camden Town station. After you have shopped and eaten you can walk along the canal or take a short trip on the regents canal, there are lots of boats that run trips. All those food stalls really could do more seating so that you can sit down and eat. It is a busy spot so difficult to maintain any form of social distancing at the moment. Lots to see and do
C. S.
I can say how much I love this place . I visit it at least once a week if I can . Always happy to meet great people here and make new friends.
L. S.
Really good market, like to go there regularly. Lots of good food options with reasonable prices and many cafes. Some creative clothes shops as well but a bit expensive. Always good to go and visit.
c. r.

A great mix of stalls, retro clothing and vinyl! So much choice for food. Great place to lose yourself in for a few hours
C. S.
Camden Town and market have changed a lot. Some places are a lot smarter with clean toilets.
You’ll never get bored with choices of food and interesting to see.
C. B.
A good variety of items for sale, including street food stalls. Great atmosphere too
O. M.
Great place to visit. Food from all around the world, market, pubs. A must to visit when in London
B. T.
Went to Hansel and Gretel got the candy floss ice cream and wow is all I can say what a pleasent surprise it looked beautiful it taste amazing and was a joy to eat
C. D.
A brilliant place to go and get lost in - there's all manner of strange and delightful stalls and shops to be found in Camden Market. I'd suggest dedicating about 3 to 4 hours to get a good chance to take it all in. Also, the food stalls are so delightful for the senses. Definitely recommend grabbing a bite to eat here too!
A. P.
Very nice place, lots of good food. We tried the pastas, they were really good. Unfortunately the place a bit dirty, the water flowing next to it full of bottles and rubbish.
P. N.
Lovely to see everyone out again!! So many places for food open and amazing cute shops. Missed that the Dr Martens shop wasn't completely opened as before COVID.
M. J.
I like the shops and places to eat both where the old market was which got burnt down and redeveloped and within the market itself with individual pods built to set and eat or drink which is enclosed is a really good as before not many places to sit. Good variety of food available and cooked whilst you wait. One could spend hours and get some real good bargains. The tube station on Northern line very close to the market.
G. P.
Lovely market, full of delicious food and stores to visit and shopping around. Great place for souvenirs.
A. A.
A beautiful and wonderful area worth a visit, you will never get bored in it, you will enjoy your time here, and find types of food, entertainment and visual nutrition
T. B.
Loads to do, loads of shops, loads of street food...Well worth a visit. Probably really busy in the summer so might be a good idea to go in the spring. We walked back down the Regents canal, very tranquil (as long as you avoid the bikes!)
F. N.
So much food diversity in flavors and many options for allergies, and food sensitive people. Highly recommend!
M. H.
As if this place needs rating. Something for everyone. Excellent food market. Some amazing characters just going about their business. Relaxed vibe. Very tight and compact though so not great with a pushchair.
M. M.
A little frenetic and nutty but if you like that kind of thing--think tattooes, piercings, and pink hair--then this is the spot. Lots of good places for food though, and it's fun to your on the canals.
N. D.
Great place to visit and the quirkiness of the different market shop is lovely to see, the street food vendors are great they are very polite, the only difficult part is the amount of people in such a small space but it's worth while and to watch the canal boats come through the locks... one thing I would say is watch out for pick pockets but other than that it's a really fun day out
N. H.
An enjoyable day out, with lots of different stalls and especially some amazing food stalls...a special shout out to the Cheese Wheel. We went on a Saturday so very crowded but still worth the day trip from Leicester
R. S.
So incredibly neat!! A must go when you have a full day!! Do not eat before you go, and do not get the first thing that sounds good-there's so many options. The stalls and stores are really great to look at and it is just such a great area to walk around! Try walking through Regent's Park before going to Camden Market and then to Primrose Hill at sunset. It will blow you away!
K. M.
Must visit when you’re in London with no doubt.
You can find basically everything in Camden market. Lots of food options
M. F.
One of the most iconic places in london. It has everything, from bustling street food corners to modern architecture hidden in quiet side streets
A. R.
Excellent place to walk, drink a beer, coffee or just to buy something in any of the many shops around.
R. M.
Great visit in the Market
Lots of places to eat and shop as well
Had great fun in the Mini Golf place as well
C. Y. C.
Awesome Places for shopping. There are lots of food pop up shops which had variety of cuisine such as Indian, Italian, Mexican, American, Chinese, Thai, Desert etc. It's a good place to spend the day.
M. M.
Visiting Camden Market is a great experience. There is a wide variety of stalls and shops, with plenty to buy and lots to eat and drink. With the various types of stalls, themed areas and statues, it is visually stunning as you walk around. Well worth a visit, but hang on to your belongings as there are pick pockets about. And many stalls will wring as much money out of you as they can, so be prepared to haggle or walk away.
L. S.
Fantastic atmosphere. Felt very safe here. Very busy but most people wearing masks. Fantastic bargains if you are prepared to barter. Please visit. You won't be disappointed.
G. F.
Was absolutely amazing, and we will definitely be returning in a few weeks time ❤💛💚
R. K.
I always loved the place. So many stores and food places and more halal food places too.
w.
Nice trip from little Venice to Camden lock on a narrowboat had a nice walk round the shops some good food and nice beer 🍺 very busy with people from all walks of life and cultures it has been a very nice day out...
C. S.
Great place to find unusual stuff. We always come here to look for Japanese Anime merchandise. Food haven! Always fun to have some food trips here. We love how some food stall offer some free taste as well.
p. k.
I have been visited this place multiple times. You have wide variety of shopping options. You should know the bargain skills when you visit here. You should not buy blindly. It's close to London Kings Cross station.
S. A.
One the most known markets of UK and London. A very busy picturesque and unique place. A very diverse and tasty food market, lots and lots of shops, artisans and restaurants.
To enjoy with friends, family or just to have fun.
L. M.
Love the mixture of shops, people and food! New set of shops on the right hand side as you approach Camden lock market....built inside shipping containers and lots of eco-friendly products for sale.
C. C.
My dog loves this place. So much food on the floor she doesn't quite know where to begin. I like the vinyl music stalls but there's something for everyone here, unless you really hate busy markets. It's nothing like Borough though, that place is insane. Camden is much more chilled.
M. H. M. I.
A must go to place when in London especially foodie hunter. A lot of halal foods. A bit of "pasar malam" vibe for Malaysian 😉 (especially when the food vendors calling you to their stalls for food testing & eventually to buy their foods 😅)
I. F.
Best market in the world, for fashion and design shopping with lots of places to grab a bite.
J. H.
So many little shops and eateries to explore. This is a place that is a must visit as you not only get an excellent London market, but gives you a sense of the surrounding area of Camden itself. The walk to get there is easy via tube or bus. There is enough shops to keep you busy on a trip or should you want, multiple trips. It is often busy on the weekends, which is to be expected.
L. R.
Nice market, which you need to see, but it was a lot…the people could be more friendly.
Food looks all really delicious and the place is very cute. Only a lot of things everywhere, a bit overwhelming.
S. “. A.
Love Camden anytime but especially when the suns out. Vibe, food and plenty to see. Being a North Londoner never did the canal boat ride till today was highly worth it.
V. V.
Camden, it's amazing. I haven't been there since yesterday but I'll go again for sure. You can find whatever you want there and nice energy.
K. B.
Fab time looking around lovely place unique shops
D. I.
good place for shopping and several types eating stalls can spend more then half a day
C. H.
Bustling and vibrant with an abundance of little stalls, absolutely loved the street food, so much choice and a good price, well worth a visit
V. T.
Last visited 20 years ago and the market has changed so much. Loved all the independent shops and eateries. Definitely worth a visit.
J. T.
Fantastic street food. Plenty of choice and styles with a great atmosphere
A.
Loved the walk along the canal from St Pancras station (much nicer than talking the tube) and the market is awesome. You need a full day to enjoy it and there is so much choice in street food you need to walk around a bit before choosing. My favourite was a little lighting shop that sold beautiful handmade lamps and chandeliers, but you will find everything here - clothes, jewellery, art, candles, shoes.
Q. S. (.
You need an entire day to enjoy this place. There are heaps of things to do and see. Plenty of shops and food stalls. They're a bit aggressive about getting you to buy from them but it's understandable. Still a good place to go as a local and a tourist.
S. O.
Wonderful Market, so big, full of passageways, Tunnels, so many great shops and places to eat!
F. W.
Our first visit and we absolutely loved it....Will definitely return when we have more time to spend looking round all the great shops and food stalls.
S.
Lively place with amazing crowd. There are lots of food pop up shops which had variety of cuisine such as Indian, Italian, Mexican, American, Chinese, Thai, Desert etc. The walk around the canal is really pretty. The market has unique items and variety of stuff! It's a good place to spend the day.
T. T.
Great market, lots of vendors, shops, and food options, make a day of it!
C. M. U.
Lots of interesting shops, plenty of places to get food and plenty of places to get those Instagram photos
j. b.
A good selection of unique little shops and lots of food outlets. You could get lost here for hours in a good way. I am originally from Sussex and this definitely has the feel of The North Lanes in Brighton about it.
M. S.
Great vibes, food smelt amazing, some fab shops. Great fun to walk around.
S. B.
Loved the food stalls! Never been there before and really enjoyed that friendly and slightly less touristic feeling you get there. Highly recommended if you are visiting London.
J. S.
Great food stalls coupled with vintage clothing. Loads of free food samples as you walk about. Finished off with a fab trip on the barge.
J. W.
Who dosent love Camden market ? A must when visiting London . Amazing food choice and an overwhelming array of shops/ stalls and alleys to explore based around a beautiful historical canal
Y. M.
A fun place to visit, get to see the locks, the market, lots of eateries/takeaway’s and some great shops. Instead of buying gifts/magnets from souvenir shops visit Camden Market first, you wont regret it
R. L.
Very nice place, fair price item. If you are planning a one day tour you can start spending a lovely morning there till lunch time, the food is good and cheap. U can go to the British museum after lunch for the afternoon, it's in 15mins walk. best place to go if you live in London.
d. R.
Last visited 30 years ago and it has changed enormously to fully undercover. Prices are not cheap, you won't get a bargain here but there are some unusual items.
M. C.
My favorite spot in London ! Even also to chill around or just for some vintage or exclusive gifts to bring back home!
K. A.
Would recommend for a lovely day out, the market is full of loads of different street food stalls from all different cultures.
There are loads of bars, pubs & shops and located conveniently by the canal which makes it a a sight for sore eyes.
Always a 10/10 experience, I do love Camden ❤
A. P.
Not what it used to be, far to many brand New shops and not many second hand any more... :-(
A. K.
I hadn't been to Camden market since 2008. Wow! What a transformation.
Enjoyed browsing around and the street food was fantastic. Unfortunately did not have the space to try all I wanted.
Will be visiting more frequently in the future, just to try the food!
V. G.
There is nothing NOT to love about Camden market! The shops, the people…everything!
I. L.
Awesome food, nice atmosphere! Would come back here for sure! Make sure to check out the street art in the area as well.
G. L.
Nice market.A lot of products. A lot and diferit food.
M. R.
An amazing market and sooo many good food places available. We decided to try the Oli Baba’s halloumi and meat head for the tacos and they were both incredible. And we had seen so many other food places we wanted to try but they will have to wait for the next visit. The shops sell all sorts of things, but many of the shops sell the same thing so look around for the best deal as they will try and out do each other! I would highly recommend visiting if your visiting London!
M. E. H.
A bit crowded for my liking, but a must to visit when in London. Unique foods and experience
I. A.
The best place where you can enjoy the market the shopping as well as I'm out of food area and course it is nice area and nice services
N. P.
Excellent variety of clothes, nick nacks and food
E. _.
A lively place with food from all around the world.
M. S.
I absolutely love Camden market always so much food and so much culture, from dessert to cocktails you can find it all here. Along with food you’ll find artist shops, clothing, tattoo parlours, herbal shops and so much no .
r.
Amazing, simply amazing.
A lot of food and hand mades.
Very unique and colorful place
K. A.
Very colourful & interesting. Worth a visit & will be going back. A trip on a barge back to Little Venice is well worth it!
P. B.
Not been to Camden Market for at least 15 years. Vibrant, exciting and lots to see and buy. Loved how colourful it is and the amenities... Very crowded but great fun
S. P.
Very busy, lots of quirkiness going on. We had a really good day! I loved that there were lots of halal food choices!
The only thing I was disappointed about was that I didn t really buy anything. The prices were just too high. I understand that could be something to do with rents that the businesses have to pay..but to be honest I think the only ones benefitting are the landlords.
If prices are so high obviously the stall owners won t be making as many sales as they could, visitors are coming away with no purchases made and we all like a bit if retail therapy.
Overall lots of food, fun and things to look at for free. Shopping only if you really, really want it. Do visit though..
S. P.
Colourful and chaotic in a good way. Lots of places to eat and drink. The market is good for a bargain if you're lucky.
H. H.
Amazing place. Lots to see and eat
I. Z.
Unforgettable experience. Out of this world atmosphere and tons of food from different parts of the world. Vibrant and diverse place which can amaze anybody.
R. H.
First time visiting Camden Market. It's more of a tourist attraction but nonetheless was an okay place to spend a couple of spare hours especially if you like to eat! There are plenty of food vendors and quirky shops. There are some lovely cafes and some eateries on the High Street as well.
If you want Halal food only then stick to the vendors inside the market.
D. R.
One of my favourite places to visit, perfect location down by the canal.
Covid restrictions mean the shops are closed so you get to see it in a different light which I loved.. The doors are all closed so you can see the original wood and design, amazing, they're normally covered in goods and clothes etc.
Most of the food stalls are open and the food is excellent so much choice and now you can sit and enjoy
D. D.
Always love a trip to Camden Market. I really like the smaller stalls which demonstrate the variety of goods on offer. The street food stalls are diverse and offer good food at reasonable prices (for London). The range of people it attracts is also wonderful to see... All types, all ages. A lot of fun!
R. C.
Super cool, specially if you like underground culture. Definitely worth it
L. N.
Some really cool stalls and shops around.
Interesting statutes and often something going on, close to the river. Great cafés and good stalls. Feels old world. Seems about as clean as old world too
R. B.
Very Much Enjoyed My Experience At The Candem Town Market, Full Of Diversity And Energy! Countless Stalls & Shops Of All Kinds Of Products From Vintage Clothing To Crystals & Spiritual Goods. Will Visit Again!
T.
Camden market itself is really colourful and interesting, there are some strange and wonderful shops to be found tucked away and great food stalls too. Definitely a cool place to visit for something a little different
C. S. M.
Covid restrictions mean the shops are closed so you get to see it in a different light which I particularly loved as I think if it was in full function mode it would be an impossible place to see the little details.
You can see the original wood and design, which in normally circumstances and level of movement we wouldn’t be able to see .
Most of the food stands are open and the smell & food are excellent (what I tried), so much choice and you can sit along the canal and enjoy your food on a sunny day.
L. J.
Took my grand daughter here and she loved it. Would recommend a visit
p. h.
Good places to go ,always fun , can't beat a bit of Camden if your in or around North London
K. M.
The older stall holders who have been at Camden for years are lovely. Very helpful and friendly. The young ones in the Egyptian area sell jewelry and they are awful. They are in your face trying to force you into a purchase. This makes you feel very uncomfortable.... avoid these jewellery stalls at all costs! The raised, open area has much nicer jewelry and the owners are great. Nice food stalls with lots to choose from. Make sure you visit the gentlemen's shirt maker, they are beautiful and the bespoke leather bag maker, he's brilliant.
H.
Interesting place to be.
Highly recommend for a visit if you are in London.
Love the vibe.
D. C.
Delightful range of interesting shops in an olde world setting
E. W.
A magical place, bustling and full of life and filled with an incredible atmosphere! 🌟 My first time visiting, and it's safe to say I'll be returning without a doubt! There are so many wonderful shops and food/drink stalls, fascinating alleyways with hidden gems amongst them, amazing retailers with stories to tell, and just so much too see and do, and eat and drink! The views around the outskirts of the market, along the edges of the Camden Locks and Regents Canal, are great to just stand there and take in, and to watch the hustle and bustle of everybody enjoying their time is wonderful. Truly mesmerising to be part of a busy market and to experience the place, and I'd highly recommend a visit if you have never been! 💯
D. M.
Very nice and authentic place. Come hungry and get yourself to the food market. You won't be disappointed
D. P.
Had so much fun here. Didn't see half of it
k. o.
Lovely markets and places to eat. Not busy went mid week.
M. W.
Camden Market is awesome!! Great place to go shopping for the unique stuff in London. Loads of great shoe shops, sign shops and the food bit is great!! About 20 different hole in the walls for food so amazing choice of different food from all different cultures!!
z. p.
Love Camden Market! So many alternative shops, cafe's, market stools and had lunch at the Shaka Zulu restaurant.
G. B.
Famous for its sprawling cluster of markets and shops as well as for an embrace of all things counter culture, Camden offers a concentrated version of London street life. From bargain shopping and people watching to rubbing elbows in its abundance of pubs and bars, Camden is the place to be for many a Londoner. It is also home to some of the hottest live music venues in Europe. As packed as Camden High Street and its tributaries can get during the weekends, this neighborhood is right next to some of the city's most beloved outdoor spaces, namely Regent's Park and Primrose Hill. This was one of our favorite areas in London!
C. T.
What a lovely unique market this is. There is so many weird and wonderful shops. The street food shops are everywhere and there is every type of food you can imagine. I loved that there was lots of the market that was inside as it was cold out. The lock next to the market is absolutely beautiful and I bet it's better in the summer. We went on a Sunday at 3pm and it wasn't too packed which was really nice. There's also pay and display parking close by which is about £4 per hour.
J. J.
The food was great! Had beers and then we took the boat to little Venice, from there we walked to the floating Chinese restaurant Feng Shang Princess
A. A.
Very nice with special street market in London. It is the best street Market in London in terms of Vibe and food. Highly recommended
J. T.
Absolutely loved this place, hundreds of stalls and street food. Well worth a visit.
M. R.
Loved the place. Unbelievably vibrant, music and clothing stalls everywhere and the street food was out of this world. I'll be going back to London hopefully but not for the sight seeing, but just to go back to Camden.
J. s.
Always love this place every time we visit london the market is the most amazing place to visit . I'm always in awe of it .an all of camden .
T. P.
Crowded and colourful with a distinct indie/bohemian vibe. Great for shopping or eating, or just simply to wander.
J. P.
One of the most beautiful place to visit for some different shopping and some street food
J. B.
This was my first visit to Camden Market. I was blown away with the quirky, kitch mixture on offer to browse and buy. Loved it
D. M.
Cool street and covered market. Touristic so prices are not cheap and Items available for sale are curated. There is a food truck area with great food options but limeted seating.
m. a. R.
fun day out! so many options for food, but it’s always crowded and lots of the shops are just tacky tourist shops…
S. A.
I loved it for tasty yumlicious food.... khao karachi,,, kolkati etc fresh juice was so coool.
Everyone e should visit at least 1 time for the authentic taste n shoping
R. H.
So many shops and food stalls to choose from. Not too crowded when we went on a Tuesday only really gets going after 11am.
D. O.
It used to be extremely busy on weekends before the Covid, fantastic place for street food, lots of different food, all nationalities, great day out. If you do not like very large crowds, don't go there on weekends, go on weekdays rather.
A. K.
Wow first time here and got to say what an atmosphere! The best part is the amount of food stalls and how many are Halal! Check out Baba G's for the ultimate burgers, amazing!!!
T. R.
Great place to visit, busy market catering for all tastes.
T. T. C. L.
Amazing atmosphere and some unique and inspiring little market stalls. We bought a gorgeous ring for our daughter from one of the jewellery stalls.. Definitely going back..
T. B.
Amazing! Everything you could ever want or need is right here and the food! The food is so good!!
S. T. G. “.
The Camden Market is possible the most vibrant, multicultural place in London that you can visit. Great shops, food stalls, amazing people around you. I've you haven't been yet, what are you waiting for?
R. R.
It's one of the most interesting places I've ever been to in London, it's very expensive but it's free to walk everywhere the street art is spectacular
m. c.
Amazing emporium of delights. Stall after stall of interesting and beautiful stalls at great prices. It's like visiting Aladdin's cave. Go to Camden Lock for the most amazing arrangement of food stalls. Brilliant place.
N. F.
Busy place but lots to explore apart from the canal lock and the street food! Very noisy but enjoyable.
D.
Camden market bright, vibrant, and multicultural. Lots of different shops to suit everyone.
N. L.
Grate food, nice atmosphere can find anything
N. C.
Very pleasant street market with great vibe and great food, one icon in London history, however, recently there's been a great deal of refurbishment and one change was in the toilets. Now is paid and I thought that would be better because it means more care with the service. It was utterly unacceptable, a new toilet, paid to be used, without toilet paper and without water to flush or wash hands and no real cleaning happens often. Quite disturbing especially during the covid pandemic.
S. H.
It was a bit confusing to find my way around but once I did, I found an endless supply of food and clothing stalls.
I didn't really buy any new clothes but there are so many food stalls that I tried out. The variety available range from Italian to Thai, coffees to proper food, and enough snacks too.
I got some bao buns from a few stalls and slow cooker beef at the Indonesian food stall.
Definitely worth a try and pop down when you get a chance.
l. S.
Many small shop here. You can find different kinds of merchants, such as souvenirs, clothes, toys, accessories, CD, leather goods, etc....... Many food stalls are selling international foods.
J. P.
You can find anything that you are looking for. Accessories, silver, clothes, cotton fabric trausers, funny gifts, any food 👍
N. A.
Used to be good now just sells overpriced t-shirts.
Food vice really good.
L.
Has possibly everything you might need from a day out and very easy to spend time here (and money). Lots of choice with food and gifts and at a good price!
P. K. L.
Overall a very great experience 10 times better than Borough market. Vendors and atmosphere give the holiday vibe. Highly recommend the Chinese food, probably the best value and portion for your money.
J. S.
Always a treat to walk around Camden- still has lots of alternative clothing and fun things to look at
J. H.
I visited 2 years ago and couldn't wait to come back. So much to see, with shops and stalls full of everything you could ever nee, from clothes to jewellery, food to art work. An assault on the senses indeed.
K. K.
Fab market- so much to see + do- loads of stalls - from Vintage clothes,Food,Jewellery, Collectibles, Fashion, Candles,Soaps, Manga- we will be back!
N. C.
Well worth a visit. Looks like an interesting repeat visit as it was raining quite hard. A carachterful area of London.
G. A.
A fantastic multinational, international and local market, offering a very wide range of food, clothing, footwear, homeware and luxury goods.
99% of the market sellers are very friendly and generous, but one was rude to anyone who stood in front of her stall. Otherwise, very highly recommended to anyone and everyone who visits London. The nearest tube station is Camden Town.
W. A.
Buzzing ,diverse, great vibe, food excellent. Go ahead give it a try.
T. S.
Always ❤ Camden Market just a special part of the city. Yes it's changed from years ago and certainly not cheap but the over all offering is better no doubt. Still a great day out even just walking around the cobbles.
M. H.
The market is a really busy and bustling place
Its exiting and really good fun.
The food courts are Fantastic and are really big portions.
Desserts. Burgers. Pizzas. Thai. Chinese. Mexican. American etc.
A taste of everything is available
Please try different things as its possible to always have the same food
Buy something different as its a way of exploring
Well thats what I think
Don't fall for the 1st price that comes out of the market traders for fake goods
Banter its good fun
M. J.
I mean you can’t go to London without stopping by Camden Market! It is worth the detour, you can spend a couple hours there and have your stomach empty when you do! Amazing choices of food from accros the world. There is music and live entertainment. Recommend it 💯
M. d. H. —. M.
Great experience! I do strongly recommend a walk around!
L. R.
It's not as it used to be when I started going 20 years ago but that's to be expected. A lot less alt people in Camden but the street food is amazing l, they give you free samples to try which I like because it really helps you make your mind up on what you want to eat
C. C.
One of the greatest market to visit and you will find what you are looking for including food, clothes, jewellery, etc. Put your walking shoes one and have enough time to look around. You will have a wonderful day and have the urge to go back
A. D. V.
Absolutely lovely day come hungry and funded so many wonderful unique and bespoke products aswell as beautiful photos ops so if that you thing bring you camera the market has security on site all over the market for added peace of mind so come enjoy yourself and make a day of it.
R. P.
Amazing place!!! Nice atmosphere, street food from all around the world, clothes and acessories with personality and very diverse people. It's definetely a must go!
R. W. B.
Vibrant and unique. Camden is full off treasure that you wouldn't easily find elsewhere. Crowded because it is so popular. Well worth a look
P. R.
Camden market and Regents canal walk to Kings Cross are a great way to spend time in the City
J. B.
A unique area of London, Camden Market is constantly evolving. Now more craftsy which is an improvement. There's an amazing array of food stalls with something for every taste. If the crowds become too much then take a stroll along the canal.
S. M.
Great place. Swear it gets bigger every time I come here.
T. G.
Great place lots to look at see, nice food to choose from
H.
Great market with hundreds of local vendors. Great for gifts as well as functional goods, and tons of great food options!
S. K.
Loved Camden Market. Lovely atmosphere and so many choices. Something for everyone.
m. r.
Food is lovely though bit cold. Food market is buzzing. Lots of choice, new and classic. Though still not the same as pre-Covid. Let's see how July/August goes with final lockdown restrictions lifted and tourists getting back.
D. D.
Superb part of London!
Camden Town is famed for its market, a warren of fashion and curiosities by the Regent’s Canal. A haven of counter culture, the area is popular with tourists, teenagers and punks. The thriving nightlife scene includes live music in alternative clubs and old-school pubs, and major stars playing at the Jazz Cafe and the Roundhouse. Cafes bustle during the day. Nearby Regent’s Park has formal gardens and the London Zoo.
The new vibrant warf and food stalls are fantastic.
I hear from a good source many new attractions are coming to the area with in the year.
A. B.
Lovely place with so many ships on everyone's taste. You have so many cuisines to try as well and so many sweets. You want to it something in particular? No worries, you'll find it in Camden Market. Make sure you take the time to walk around and browse
M.
This place is always worth a visit. The London Underground station brings you to the heart of the high street and the market is a short walk away. Plenty of stalls, plenty to see, plenty to buy and plenty of Street Food. There is something for everyone.
L. S.
The place was overcrowded, there were many food shopping. The street with open umbrellas was amazing. Shops all around it...a nice place to visit once..
B.
Quiet for Camden, but really wonderful. So different from when I was here last in the 80's, but still a fantastic day out. Friendly stall holders and great food from the vendors
j. F.
Excellent ambience. Felt very secure. Good variety of quirky shops.
J. L.
Very cool spot with a variety of things to do, to eat, to shop and enjoy. You have some influence from all around Europe and World too. Due to this good mix, you can try amazing different foods. Products with foreign influence and more. The whole market can look like a small maze due to some narrow hallways, but you don't bother with that since you have so much to check it out. Definitely want to go back and try other options of foods that they have there.
S. D.
I loved the cafe were I had Filipino food.
I had grilled chicken and boiled rice, 2 gorgeous sauces and salad. Perfect. Please try this place.
S. B.
Fantastic market and Camden town is a great day out!
J. L.
Famous market, really interested place with plenty of great stalls
L. S.
Cool vibe to go with friends and spend the afternoon
S. S. (.
Fantastic place. Must visit place for holiday makers. If foreign visitors want to buy gifts for their friends and family back home, Camden market is the place to go!
H. P.
I love this place. There is something for everyone. From the foodie to the record collector to looking for vintage clothing pieces. This is truly a vibrant mix of people.. My favourite way to get there is by using the canal boats and taking in the scenic route.. cannot recommend this place highly enough..
C. c.
Great place with plenty different of food and shops
F.
Incredible food, easy going vibe, all inclusive atmosphere.
M. M.
Nice place, a lot of restaurant and endless variety of shop
M. M.
Lively, great and unusual items for all tastes. Good day out.
C. P.
This such an amazing place in London, you can't believe place like this exists in London. Look similar to markets in Thailand. Not cheep but not expensive also. Many stalls are there to explore and eat.
B. H.
Been to Camden market a few times now, a friend and I go every so often, we love it, so much diversity, all the different shops and food outlets, well with a trip
R. S.
Great place for a day out, has something for everyone
K. K.
Very nice and busy place in London with interesting shops 👌
D. B.
Much more commercial than it used to be even a few years ago. Has lost a lot of its small independent traders but is still worth a visit, especially if you've never been before. Plan on spending an afternoon and evening - you'll need it!
L. M.
Lovely little shops to spend a afternoon wandering around. Loved the Umbrella display.
A. P.
Always is an amazing place and had to get some Chinese food
T. G.
A known alternative area in London and must visit is you're doing some tourism.
The market has had extensive refurbishment in the last couple of years and the stalls are now little shops, looking nicer and more professional but not loosing their essence.
There is also more space to walk around which is perfect in the current situation.
The street food shops are superb, plenty of choices and all yummy and affordable.
M. Š.
Insanely amazing place for any street food fan! Incredible!
A.
Camden Town is lovely, but the market is mind blowing 😮 I have no idea how many shops and food trucks are there, but for sure there is something for everyone! Best time to go is on a Sunday morning at 9. If you have good weather, the market will be crowded which is fine if you like the London life :) Camden market is a must for everyone who is staying over the weekend:) Kiiiii hi
K. H.
Lovely place to eat out all day. Lots of shops and markets to visit. Wide range of places.

Absolutely amazing place to go try all different types of food. If you're craving something or saw something and said to yourself "I want that!" Then you'll love it here.
Loads of little shops about as well so highly recommend tourists to go visit.
T. J.
A very quirky place, variety of places to eat and drink with a lovely atmosphere
L. S.
The place was overcrowded, there were many food shopping. The street with open umbrellas was amazing. Shops all around it...a nice place to visit once..
S. H.
Love the hustle and bustle of this place well worth a visit lot's to see 👀and do

Enthralling place with so many things to do. You will not get bored or go hungry here
B. M.
A must to visit place it has everything for everyone great atmosphere colourful and very very enjoyable

Camden Market is quite an assault on the senses. It's obviously a magnet for anyone who wants an intravenous London experience and if you can handle the crowds, it's well worth a day exploring. There are some delightful boutiques to discover, as well as some rather tacky ones, but the highlight is the cosmopolitan array of street food outlets serving up some mouth-watering confections. Perspex pods allow you to escape the rain to enjoy it too.
R. R.
It's one of the most interesting places I've ever been to in London, it's very expensive but it's free to walk everywhere the street art is spectacular
P. K. L.
Overall a very great experience 10 times better than Borough market. Vendors and atmosphere give the holiday vibe. Highly recommend the Chinese food, probably the best value and portion for your money.
K. M.
Wow. This place is wicked. So many stalls for amazing food. Be prepared for people to give you samples. It's like a Hipster version of Costco😂. It's nicely kept, clean and secure, the area is a maze as you can find store in every nook and cranny. Lots of vintage clothes shops and cool stuff. Would deffo recommend 👌🏾 Prices...I mean it's London so don't be surprised when you see 10£ for a meal.
I ate at an Indian veg stall that shares with a juice bar. Got the Falafel and it was to dieeeee 4.
K. o.
Mine and my sister's most favourite place. Each time we travel up to London Camden is always a must xx
K. F.
Great market stalls and shops with loads of food outlets as well.
J. M.
Amazing place. If you go to London don't miss Camden Town. Great food and a great vibe.
J. R. (.
A great place to go for vintage and pop/geek culture gear, great food and some fantastic shops!
Nightlife is excellent also and there are many fantastic pubs and bars within the market, one area also backs onto the docks which makes for great scenery!
j. e.
Very esoteric shops...some tat and London gifts to be expexted...but pretty good.
Excellent hawkers food market catering for all tastes.
Moomin shop is excellent only place to buy blueberry coffee.
M. A.
They have great variety of street food options. You will find all the cuisines here with great taste and cheap prices.
G. I. S.
Market with varities of food stalls and shops. I love how lively and colorful the place is. Aaaand, they have the cleanest public toilet I've seen in town.
C. C. (.
Beautiful, lots to see and do, I recommend this place so fondly. Whenever I meet someone who I think may be even remotely interested, I recommend Camden. There's so much to see, eat and do. Everyone seems to be welcome and there's something for everyone (even if they think there won't be! ;D) I can't wait to experience it one day as a big group of people!
M. F.
Great place to buy stuff and eat! The market is wonderful and full of choices. The food smells incredible and it's a must go place to visit during your stay in London. I would definitely come back just to try different restaurants and have a great time.
J. L.
Super cool vibe and a perfect way to spend the day eating and drinking all types of foods throughout the market. A huge variety of shops down quaint alleyways of what used to be the horse stables many years ago. Top it off with a riverboat ride on the canals to check out the waterways which were used to bring cargo throughout England.
J. M.
Full of good vibes and chilled people. Definitely a place to chill and enjoy some good food! Absolutely love Camden and will always come back
S. R.
Great atmosphere. Nice shopping place

Buenos días, te cuento:
Beautiful artistic place. Full of vintage clothes, delicious food, great opcions for vegetarians and vegans. Good vibe, except for a women that sells vinils that kicked us out with no reason, so rude. Camden is a great plan for the sunday, families, friends, a lot of great stores. Wonderful
C. L.
Love Camden! Its so vibrant and got everything you need. Good food, bars, shops, people. Recommend visiting
R. S.
A place well worth a visit, good street food and some very alternative shops!
J. H.
A wonderfully cosmopolitan place to mix with locals and visitors alike. A fantastic and fantastical array of shops to indulge every taste. And talking of taste, I defy anyone not to find something delicious to eat from the street food vendors and other outlets. Go there often!
A.
Great market. Lot of choice. Multicultural
M. W.
The revamp of the camden market is great in my opinion. Kinda sad to see all the t-shirt stalls gone, but the other additions have made up for it. Great food market. Jewelry. Vegan food market now. The occasional pride flag crosswalk which have been a nice addition to many places in London.

There's something about Camden, an almost eerie Victorian, old London feel .. Whether you're doing a bit of shopping, looking for a bite to eat or just want to go somewhere different, check out Camden, lots of trendy shops, bars & restaurants but best of all are the various markets, especially the old stables, where you could almost be in a middle eastern Zook as you lose yourself in the maze of one of the many cobbled alleyways, where the sounds of hoof upon cobbled yard once echoed as many of the working horses which drove the economy of nearly a century ago, were stabled here. Crammed with little stalls selling anything from beautiful outlandish fashion of steampunk to old vintage records. Stop for a snack in the food alleys, where traders will offer you free samples of their culinary delights to tempt you, there's something for everyone, including many vegan options too.. then finish off with a stroll down the canal by the lock, before jumping onto the underground train back to central London , or wherever home is.. enjoy Camden, it's a must see, especially if you're visiting from abroad.
I. B.
I loved Camden Market, it's so colorful and full of life. You can find a huge variety of food, loads of clothes, jewelry, and all kind of things you'd never think exist.
M. M.
Sadly not quite the vibrant brew of eclectic and wonderfully diverse delights but somewhat more gentrified and being modernised. Not to be missed though as still one of those unique experiences of London that's worth the days it'll take to explore and the legend of cyberdog
A.
Just simply live this place.... A aladins cave
.
J. C.
Splendidly diverse market. If you're in Camden Town you should pay it a visit. There's a wide range of food outlets representing food from every country imaginable.
C. S.
Absolutely love Camden Market, so rich with culture and so many different stalls to choose from. As you delve deeper into the belly of the market, stalls become intertwined which only adds to the excitement of finding your new favourite boutique, tucked away in the corner of an underground labyrinth. If you can find the guy selling magic supplies, you are in for a treat! He always puts on a show which makes you leave feeling in awe.
Our favourite part has always been the food! So many options from sit down cuisine to multicultural street food. Quite often you can walk past the food stalls and the vendors are offering free samples so you can get a little taste of everything before you decide.
C. S.
One of my fave things to do whilst in London.
K. C.
Amazing day Hans and Gretel is a must visit.
E. D.
If you like street food you'll love it, the place is an absolute maze of markets and bespoke shops. Camden lock is here and you can sail in the narrow boat for a relaxing break.
A. C.
If you love street food and market stalls then Camden is definitely a bit of you. All of the food stalls are high quality and overall a great place to visit. The atmosphere is great.
M.
Is a lovely place with a lot of shops and restaurants is always so much busy but I recommend it.
J. w.
Maybe it's not for everyone but.!! Camden is a very unique place to visit for all! I'd definitely visit here if you come to London.
T. E.
My first visit despite numerous trips to London. Thought it was great and was sorry we'd eaten before we visited as the selection of food and drinks is extensive. Some unusual gifts can be found.
M. M.
My all time fave place. You need to find the Egyptian guy who sells oil based perfume/after shave. They are by far the best smels ever and so unique that you will have people asking you all the time what perfume you are wearing. Food great, prices wernt too bad either
N. A.
Extremely busy but wait wasn’t too bad for anything. Found the little streets more preferable over the main market square. Overall nice atmosphere & would visit again on a sunny day.
S. M.
Vibrant, hectic, authentic and touristic all at the same time. The prices drop drastically at you try and walk away from the market stalls, so never pay the asking price! And keep your wits about you mingling through the crowd or watching any street acts... The street food quarter by the canal is wonderful.
S. W.
Amazing experience can’t believe we have been down to London sooo many times and never came across this gorgeous place
N. A.
Fab place, endless alley ways full of cool little stores and so many great places to eat and drink. I could spend all day wandering around here👍
S. T.
Absolutely love this part of London and will be coming back soon!
B. A.
Very nice place to walk around, and spend a quality time with friends. Small shops and wide variety of meal choice. (There are some halal choices as well).
A. M.
I had so much fun! I absolutely recommend you give it a go even for a day
t.
As we know you can't really go wrong visiting Camden Market/Town, its all about the FOOD, my kids just can't get enough of this place especially the Bang Bang Chicken, the fresh Churro's 😋 Bubble tea/drinks etc. Its just Food Galore... just need some seating area as it cN be hard with kids..
A. S.
Beautiful place must visit if you are in England
Can visit london zoo as well near to zameen market
A.
Camden Market is so vibrant and you meet so many different people. I really enjoyed the food and the stalls. The stall that I liked the most was called UR Handcrafts & Crystals - I have never seen so many crystals before! The jewellery is amazing too. Deffo have a visit. :)
m. c.
Lively bustling market and a definite place to visit when in London. Every food and clothes stall you could imagine and lots of quirky stalls too.
A.
A must visit!!! Can get a bit repetitive tho but definitely go for lunch as the food markets are amazing
D. K.
OK, it's a bit touristy, but only in a good way.
Great place to explore.
Wonderful atmosphere.
M. R.
Awesome! Just make sure you investigate all of it! Great street food, friendly people, and excellent pubs!
R. W.
Very trendy looking area with loads of good food. Went with several people who all chose different eats and we were all super satisfied, can't go wrong!
J. R.
Fantastic place to visit. Although social distancing might have been better. Great choices for foods, gifts and clothing.
G. B.
Just love this place. Its a happy mix of vintage and modern stuff !! Clothes, jewellery and just about anything else ! Such a happy atmosphere.......only downside is there is never anywhere to sit when eating food from the street food stalls.........and the price of these foods has rocketed ! £10 for a Chinese mix in a tub, plus £1:50 a can of drink..........AND to sit on a cold step if you can find one !! Still..........you can easily spend a day walking around the shops and stalls. Visit The Modfather shop if you do go. Staff and Clothes are simply the best.
Z. H.
Fabulous day of Christmas shopping. Amazing food stalls. Picked up some awesome stocking fillers
A. S.
I think Camden Market is the best market in London. There is a huge selection of delicious street food and a few restaurants as well. The shops are interesting and ecclectic. I do, however, wish that there were more seating options around the food stalls. The glass igloos are cool but not conducive to multiple smaller groups.
J. C.
I like this place a lot. The food is plentiful in choice and portion sizes. The communal eating area pods are a nice new addition. The cheese bar was good for lunch. Interesting, vibrant and colourful.
A. H.
You can find ANYTHING here. So much great food!
K. N.
Not busy during the week. A wide and eclectic range of clothes, shoes, jewellery and books to fit any style or budget. Amazing selection of street food and pubs
h. /. ه.
Definitely a must do. The shopping is really nice here, you can find some lovely pieces. I bought a 60s-like dress and a leather bag, very unique. I also ate at the Italian alley. The weather was really great that day so it was overall very enjoyable. Would return.
K. Z.
cool vibes, and obviously it's an iconic place I feel like everyone should go to at least once, however i felt it was overhyped and a lot of the stuff wasn't great quality. my friend bought an earring that fell apart within an hour! most it was the same jewelry over and over :/ but i did get a ring really cheap that i now love, so it can be good if you're lucky
E. S.
What an amazing little part of the greater London area!! Came here just after Christmas of 2019 and it absolutely spectacular!! Such a cool vibe in this little pocket of town! Something completely different from anywhere else in London. So many little pubs and restaurants as well. You can get just about anything you would like here!
K. G.
Visited on a weekday. Only about half the shops are open. I would recommend going on a weekend to experience Camden better. Overall still a pleasant visit.
T. J.
A very quirky place, variety of places to eat and drink with a lovely atmosphere
V. K.
Great Place, lovely ambience..very lively.. worth a visit for the experience..
a. r.
Amazing place. I'm so glad I made time to come visit this market. So many Halal food options!! Totally shocked since I'm from NY and we will never have this many options on a market. Def a must stop for food and shopping. If you're into leather this is def the spot. Amazing bags and jackets for such a great price.
O. S.
Not the Camden Market of old but still a major attraction in London.
The area is very vibrant with a large number of shops, stores, bars and restaurants.
It's position beside the Grand Union Canal makes it a very pleasant area. There are a number of locks and bridges so it's great for viewing the various narrow boats traversing the canal.
The views of the canal from the market bars and Canalside establishments make it a great place for a photo opportunity too.
Young and vibrant with an eclectic mix of businesses it's a worthwhile place to visit with friends and family.
B. W.
Lovely little market great street food
m. g.
Love Camden Market. Such varied and eclectic taste and fashion. Anything you want, you'd probably find it here. Great choice of food, especially good vegan food. Could spend a day people watching and eating lots of varied meals!
M. D.
Crazy, full of vibes, great stalls & shops, fab food. Not cheap but you must go at least to visit! Interesting, quirky, just amazing. Come & look around, enjoy the atmosphere, join the crowd. It does get busy but I came with buggy & we were fine.
Some stairs to conquer but you can avoid them.
Definitely worth visiting x
D. D. C.
Always a good atmosphere and plenty of shops for alternative fashion, jewellery and just generally to eat.
A. U.
Was a great experience but was very crowded at the food market. The food options were amazingly diverse and there were a lot of gluten free, halal and vegan options 😊
A. C.
Amazing place, different varieties of food all at a great price. 🤍💯 especially the 🌮
E. M.
Great vibe. Melting pot of cultures. So much to see and experience in concentrated historical location.... And the foooood! Wow. Love this place. Came here with my daughter who's at a London university, and she shared her favourite things about Camden with me. We had fun, we ate great food, we chilled (even though it was a very busy Saturday). Hidden gems round every corner and in every nook and cranny. Don't blink or you'll miss something.
Bring your camera or leave it at home, you won't forget this place and you'll be back for more.
R. M.
Amazing international cuisines. Pino Warang Indonesia🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩 food is amazing. Music and friendly service.
J. M.
I'm afraid to say that, IMO, developers have ruined the once iconic place.
"Sports Direct" in Camden..... really! Amy would turn in her grave!
No "stables " anymore and eating in pods ruins the ambiance and aromas
J. S.
Very busy at weekend, lot of buzz, all sorts of shops. Food stalls serve amazing variety of delicious food, bit expensive for wat is it though
J. S.
Too many people as usual but not good for covid times. Although it was early afternoon so lots of people out eating, drinking, walking, biking. Quietened down by 4.40 ish
D. A.
A fun place to visit, lots of street food and many tiny shops to choose from. The creatives there are stunning and the food is even better, but some places are not fresh, so keep an eye out. Also, coming out from the underground be cautious of your belongings and make sure to check your pockets regularly. Other than that it’s a great place to go to and just chill and enjoy the food.
D. C.
What can be said. Well firstly its a market and secondly its in Camden, glad we got that out of the way. Rather than write a really long review which you likely won't ready please see attached some stock photos from Google. You're welcome.
H. P.
Love Camden always a great atmosphere it was quite hectic but it was mid day on a Saturday. There's lots of fun quirky shops to pop in and out of and the food markets are fantastic lots of food from all over to choose from. Could just do with some more seating to eat at!
S. N.
A must visit .September Oct November the fall colour of trees mesmerise you incase you are a lover of nature
H. A.
Was a nice peaceful area where I sat down on a bench and opened my book. The place was clean and appropriate to socialise would recommend going for the canary wharf views in the afternoon.
K. R.
Best time to go now as the crowds are more or less absent. Went on a Thursday and it was easy to walk around while keeping your distance.
Food stalls are all back and they have a great choice available.
C. M.
So much to do here, great food lovely little stalls to shop too
E. B.
Nice place to to walk around and browse, lots of different shops to see, and good food and drinks.. Easy to get lost walking around...
M. S. L.
Amazing food area and the market hall is huge don't get lost in thinking it's just the first part there's always more to see
S. F.
Amazing place, we could have spent all day here.
Such a wide diversity of food and shops, although you will find that some shops sell the same things as a shop 5 shops down and 5 shops ahead.
Great atmosphere and not too busy when we visited (Feb) but can imagine gets very busy in Summer.
J.
For a non-shopper, this place was surprisingly alive and exciting. An insane number of shops and food vendors with an incredible variety. A unique place to see for sure.
B. S.
If you’re a vintage lover, this is the right place for you ..
From gothic clothing to vintage stuff, all are available at this place. It’s a good place for souvenirs shopping as well.
It’s really a good spot to hang around and it’s extremely lively area. The street and market inside always packed with people either tourists or locals.
Notes:
1. If you buy in volume, you can haggle for cheaper price. ( except food)
2. You’ll met drunk people or even drug dealers, just ignore them and keep walking.
3. Beware of pickpockets.
e. L.
This is indeed an eye-opener place for us, didn't imagine such place exists in London! There are so many stores to explore, some selling exotic items. There are lots of people during the weekend! Definitely one of the place to check out out of the ordinary tourist landmarks.
L. A.
Great place to visit, lots of art & crafts, clothing and fabulous street food all varieties. Recommend a visit. Can get real busy weekends
E. N. D.
If you like street food, this is the beat place for you!
a. k.
The experience during Christmas was magical. Loads of stalls with many friendly people in the stores. Brilliant day to spend with family and friends!
E. L.
This is a favourite to me of London, I frequent this area the most...
What do I love about it? What's not to love?
Literally different cuisines in every corner / street food that is of great quality, independent stores of anything your heart desires. Crystals, books, old cameras, jewelry, clothes of varying tastes and styles, pins, bags etc etc.
The ambience of the entire place is easygoing, personal and cosy, ideal for a relaxing day out!
M. A.
Camden Town is the richest in colours!
M. R.
I Liked in years pasted - it was much better then - the stall holder's are no longer as friendly - the food you buy that is already cooked.... the portion they give you is very little for 7 pounds so be aware, it's not worth it anymore.
I.
Good food, amazing variety. Bubble waffles are lovely and fluffy. Not all shops are open because of covid I'm assuming. Also no social distancing or wearing masks- it's as if covid doesn't exist there.
C. P.
Camden Market truly is a street food paradise with the very best hipster vibe. The variety of food offered is amazinglymulticultural, from Colombian to Greek, from Italian to Japanese.
The street art around the area adds to the unique vibe of this place.
I appreciated the hand sanitiser offered across the entire market.
j. h.
At one time Camden Market was a go-to place for second-hand clothes, jewellery, records and relatively cheap designer goods. Over theyears the market stalls have vanished, replaced by bijou outlets clustered around the Lock.
These days the main business of the market is street food, with seemingly countless concessions offering fayre from every corner of the globe. Inevitably there has also been an influx of retail units selling cheap tourist tat.
Whilst a trip to Camden Market is now an essential on the tourist itinerary, the buzz and tumult don't necessarily compensate for the loss of character and identity.
