I visited recently and centre point food store post renovation is lovely. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They had everything I needed and I ended buying more than I planned as they have a wide range of products and ingredients for authentic homecooked Korean food. They have everything needed to treat home sickness from Korea!

KOREAN TRADITIONS Today, 17th April 2021, post lockdown, I ventured to Central London for the purpose of picking up a couple of seaweed bags! Frustratingly, many shops do not take cash and I don't get paid until the end of the month... Fortunately, I discovered Centre Point Food Store! Yay 😃! It's a wonderful Korean and Japanese food store with some amazing foods! Sadly, I can't eat much of it as I'm Wholefood Plant-Based. Anyway, I picked up a couple of medium sized bags of seaweed. I've been wanting to make a salad based on seaweed for nearly a week, and my local supermarkets have stopped stocking dried seaweed. THE OWNERS The Owners were very welcoming and friendly. I mainly spoke with a mature male, who had done army duty in South Korea. We struck up a conversation and he showed Me to bow correctly! Great! I thanked Him in Korean, which He and His female assistant appreciated very much. It was a wonderful exchange! IN-STORE The store is a little on the small side, which gives it a warm feeling in terms of a friendly atmosphere. I can't say I felt cramped... It was easy to find what I was looking for! LOCATION Centre Point Food Store is in a good location, which makes it so easy to find. It's also quite easy to get to from most parts of London. I've come from a relatively far North London location and it was certainly worth the travel. It's always good to stretch the legs! VERDICT I'll be certainly making repeated visits! I might even learn more Korean and traditions! Oh! I was given some very good advice too! I'll be sure to take heed! SCORE 10 / 10

There’s a restaurant downstairs in this store and it has one of the best Korean food I’ve tried in London. Sweet chilli fried chicken was absolutely delicious! Zayn gave us an amazing service and recommended amazing food to us. He also entertained us and made me and my friends laugh hysterically. Can’t wait to go again.

I came with my sister and we had the best time. Kim really looked after us and went the extra mile with kindness and helped us with our order. The food is unbelievable, the tastes are explosive with a long lasting impact on the pallate. I have been coming to this restaurant on the odd occasion for about five years now and it is so nice to see how it has developed as its become more popular. I remember the newspaper on the walls. Although we didn't eat here we would like to come again soon and the try the food. One of our goals coming to London was to try and find a Korean food store so we could try some cooking at home. I found most of what I was hoping to find here and not too bad of a price, we're going to Korea in October with the kids so wanted to let them try some of the food first. I've made some meals that they've enjoyed and I can only imagine that the authentic thing will taste far better than my cooking so feeling hopeful they won't be wining for McDonald's all the time we're there! This shop/cafe is one of my favourites in London. I go there every time whenever I visit the city. The staff is always nice. One of nice cafes which makes good Korean food. Prices are nice too.

Came to the store as a foreign traveler looking for food and cooking supplies. The store sells a variety of Asian grocery staples including fruit, ramen, snacks, sauces, and condiments. Meats, eggs, and milk are also sold here. However, we could not find bread. There is also a nice food court located downstairs serving Korean cuisine. The owner/manager was also really welcoming and provided us some complimentary fruit to take with us!

Love the place it was like being a kid in a candy shop, I just love Korean products. Really easy to get to and really friendly staff. I recommend if you’re looking to cook Korean food at home. You can also buy already marinated pork and beef too bought the pork. I like marinating the beef myself tho.

They had a variety of Korean snacks and desserts as well as frozen foods and premade meals. There's also a Korean restaurant downstairs. In addition, there were fresh produce for purchase too so there was definitely an abundance of goods. Service was great!

I stopped by to buy some ingredients, ready prepared food and makgeolli. It's a nice shop with a good selection of ingredients, and there's a fridge with prepared food ready to eat or cook at home. Their bulgogi is delicious! I haven't been downstairs but I'll definitely shop here again.

With the changes being made around Tottenham Court Road area I am so glad that this place is still standing. A great little supermarket selling Korean snacks, noodles, as well as fresh foods. There is also the restaurant below which is affordable, tasty and super efficient. The walls are plastered with BTS and Blackpink imagery it’s quite quirky and cute. The staff in both the shop and restaurant are super friendly I can’t help but feel like I’m not in London anymore!

Really good. Enough choice for veggies, big portions, friendly service. It's BYO, but corkage is quite expensive (and the Korean minimarket upstairs is not that cheap), so if you want cheap booze, bit it in advance (eg Sainsbury's on Tottenham Court Road).

Has a good selection of Korean products considering it's small size. The restaurant in the basement is a bonus; food is delicious with decent sized portions.

The sushi bar above is my favourite place to get a sushi fix with the Saturday specials of £1 sushi and £2 rolls from 12pm to 4pm. Raw fish is generally very fresh and portions are sizable. Even the tempura and udon are delicious. The wait can be rather long during peak hour and set lunches tend to be on the pricey side though!

£1 Nigiri Sushi and £2 sushi rolls during lunch-time every Saturday is value that cannot be beat anywhere else. While the set lunches have seen a price hike and the Saturday sushi offer no longer applies to take-out orders, it's still a good place to visit for decent sushi at affordable prices. The staff may look a little dour but they're generally very nice people.

Above the grocery store is a tucked-away sushi restaurant which has an authentic, hidden-gem feel to it. I had the sushi and tempura bento box and enjoyed it. The shrimp tempura was especially good with big, meaty shrimps and a light batter. No frills and friendly service.

To Soju lovers, they sell multiple flavours of soju here! £6 each and it is definitely cheaper than drinking soju at any korean restaurants. But I am not sure how’s the price in other korean groceries shop. *one more tip: Buy kimchi at HMart. Update: H Mart sells £6.25 for each soju.

It's easy to walk past this unassuming, cosy first-floor sushi restaurant above a Korean supermarket near Tottenham Court Road Tube station. But once inside, the food is freshly made and great value. The menu is extensive and the friendly staff will be happy to talk you through the more unusual dishes. The sushi rolls and nigiri were very good - not the finest sushi you'll ever find, but great for the price. The miso soup was also delicious. We visited on a Saturday lunchtime when they had a special offer: all sushi rolls were priced at just £2 and all nigiri at just £1. We will be back soon.

Decent range of products from Asia, primarily Korea with some Japanese and Chinese options. Even for London the prices are quite high, but this is likely due to the high rent for this location. Staff friendly.

It is very good place to enjoy typical Korean foods and ingredients even though prices would be a little bit challenge.

If you like your Korean foods then you can usually do well to stop here and pick up a few tasty items. These can be anything from the already prepared dishes in takeaway pots in the fridge or the ingredients to make your favourite noodles and dumpling soups and stews or kimchi and rice dishes. Best of all if you don't want to wait until you get home you can always visit the restaurant in the basement at the back of the store. There are meat and Vegetarian options all nice and spicy. I shouldn't advertise this too much because they can be very popular with both the lunch time and evening crowd. Highly recommended alternative to your usual West End Chinese meal if not as sophisticated.

The uncles often seen in Korea treated me so calmly that I left the store comfortably. (Original) 유럽여행의 마지막 도시로 한국음식이 그리워 찾아갔습니다. 방에서 먹을 한국음식들이랑 샀는데 사장님께서 우리가 측은해 보였는지 아님 애를 보고 귀여워서 였는지 오렌지 두개를 얹어주셨네요. ^^ BTS팬들이 자주 오는지 케이팝 아이돌 사진이 지하식당에 많이 걸려있고 온김에 분식집에서 점심도 사먹었습니다. 한국식당 처럼 막~ 맛있고 이런건 아니지만 느끼해진 입안을 씻어주기에는 충분했고 별도로 주문해야 하는 김치도 넉넉히 반찬으로 내주시네요. 한국에선 잘 안먹던 김치를 사장님이 그냥 내주셔 성의를 봐서 다 먹을라 했는데 먹다보니 맛있어서 다 먹었네요. 음식계산할 때 동전 가득한 제 지갑을 보고 잔돈과 지폐, 자잘한 잔돈을 모아 2파운드 동전으로 바꿔주시네요. 한국에서 흔히 보는 아저씨들께서 푸근히 대해주셔 기분좋게 가게를 나섰습니다.
