Reviews of Co-op Food - Hanwell

A special trip there today to check out our favourite in store baked mince pies.
Both shortcrust and puff pastry ones were in stock. 2 packs for £2, could not resist, got 4 packs. Speedy check out with 3 self service machines and man manned tills too.
Staff was helpful at the till as usual and most wear masks which is reassuring.

As a local shop the Co-Op Hanwell is something of a hit and miss affair. Sometimes the fresh produce is lovely, and sometimes it leaves a lot to be desired (e.g. going off), and I leave without what I wanted. Sometimes the items just aren't in stock.
Having worked in retail, I feel for the staff, as the store seems understaffed, and they look under pressure. There's only ever one staff member checking out, and barely anyone on the shop floor.
You can wait for ages if there is a problem with the self service machine in the middle of your checking out and in fact I now avoid the machines.
It is my nearest local convenience store, but in my opinion Co-Ops in general need to do better.

This shop is absolutely amazing 100% I go there a lot to get food to provide for my family. Workers that work for us at CO - OP are so nice and lovely, the shop is always clean and I'm never disappointed of the quality of the food that I buy.Ive been going to this exact shop for 13 years which is as long as I've been here in England. This particular shop is a great shop as the workers are always nice and there for help i would all give them a golden metal as a reward.🥰❤❤😁👍👏

Decent selections for a store of its size. Staff are always cheerful and helpful with any questions you may have. A life safer to have this store so close and open till 2300hrs. Of course you pay a tiny bit extra for this luxury but thems the rules. Please never close down!

The staff were excellent in helping me find my food and toiletries items

Didn’t find what I need and no one helped me which was the worst part, they looked busy but not an excuse really, have to use again because they r my local 😅😂

Taking convenience quite literally. Not sure how they do it but whenever I've needed something, one of the best places to pop into.
Always seems busy, but I guess that reflects the popularity. Even managed to get decent fresh fruit in the evening.
I guess with the number of people visiting it can leave the place looking a little untidy, but nothing serious.
