Reviews of Co-op Wood Street
E. P.
Nice place to go send grab few items at a good price. O ly think I wish there would be more selection of products but its okay.
M. S.
Nice tidy local store. Good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh meat etc...all the usual branded products well ad the Co op value range.

Good local store for everyday essential items and a few extras, especially when you don't need to do a big supermarket shop. Everything from confectionary, meats, vegetables, fruits, drinks, wine to toiletries etc. Nice to have this relatively new store as the new developments in the Wood Street area result in a lot more people needing everyday items more regularly, without always having the time to go to Walthamstow Central. P.S, also great as it conveniently has a Cash Point outside. Only criticism is the Self-Scan desks are Card only!

I love shopping there! There's a good variety and they always have different offers.. the staff is amazing.. Amunir and Mark especially.. very helpful and polite. Good job guys and thank you for your helpful support everytime I shop in "your" store.. if I was the owner I would give you a pay raise for your efforts.. especially during the covid pandemic.

So handy to have this store nearby.. a little bit of most things you normally need.. it's life support for wood street
S. J.
Big shout out to the new security guard who goes above and beyond his responsibilities by warmly welcoming customers and giving good advice like "don't slip on the box". Just wish this store had a wider selection of products, particularly local beers and produce as other coops do.
E. C.
Don't know the place very well , just go to visit a friend.
E. W.
It's okay... Shoulda been bigger given the distance to the supermarkets but on the plus side has allowed some of the non chain mini markets to continue. Feel like we spend a lot every time we go as don't have the space for larger range with more discounts plus you are paying the metro/local premium. Saying that it is a pleasant space. Their beer selection has got better recently - more craft-ish but Tescos still beats coop on this front due to better deals on Brewdog and Vocation.
A. W.
Has all the basics you'll need. Fairly clean with most people wearing masks. Staff always seem to be unpacking something wherever you go there though
T. V.
Great new store, much needed revamp over the old store that it's replaced. Large selection of items and their offers are really good. Produce is always fresh and their bakery items are delicious, especially their cinnamon swirls.
T. C.
Always very polite and have things reduced which is good and always a good selection of foods to choose from
J. A.
Good local shop to grab something if your missing out. Item are normally in stock and got 4 self service for a quick checkout. Some items can be a bit over priced but when on offer they are good
S. B.
I'm not a big fan of supermarkets, but I like the Co-op, not too big to be intimidating, but big enough to have a good range, at a reasonable price. And definitely better than the awful Tesco Metros, where the staff are often rude and belligerent.
A. E.
Its not quit busy though, but you can easily find what you are looking for within as they are well displayed, their prices are a bit on the high side.
E. R.
It's fine. They stock some essentials and bits and pieces, but it is a small store. It's mostly self checkout but they sometimes have staff on tills too.
H. K.
I love this Co-Op. If I need it, they usually have it. Staff are lovely, and the store is clean and welcoming.
L. F.

W. J.
Can be slightly over priced on some products but its local with friendly and helpful staff...
G. S.
Small shop ...moderate prices ..not as cheap as you think .
N. B.
Have always found co op to be expensive version of Tesco the only convince is that they close late 7 days a week, a quick pit stop for things you really need at the given time.
A. G.
First time back in Co-op since March. Happy with what they have done to protect staff and customers from Covid 19
M. M.
Small but nicely laid out shop with a good selection of items. Enjoyed a lovely raspberry desert.
S. F.
Very nice place to get your shopping. Occasionally, they won't have what you need.

Good shop. Sells loads of different items. Clean and tidy. Always easy to find what you need.
J. K.
Easy to access in a beautiful residential & pedestrianised location. Ideal to pop into, similar to a corner shop but better priced(!).
I found majority of the items on my shopping list; only needing a larger Supermarket for a few missing items.
Staff are very help and always around if required.
N. H.
Saff are blessed and helpful but the signal in that building is shockingly bad
R. H.
