Really good Iranian / Turkish supermarket with variety of Persian and International products. Great selection of fresh vegetables, fruits and freshly baked Turkish bread with fair prices. The staff can be more helpful and friendly!

Great selection for international foods, and fresh vegetables plus its own bakery with excellent Turkish breads. The fresh meat buthchee is Halal and good quality. No sausages though with the butcher but still fit anything else including wide selection of Feta cheese from cow, sheep and goat this is the place to visit

Very popular very busy. This is a very popular part of London for Iranians. Almost every type of food can be found here, from Iran, Middle East, Central Asia and Turkey. Prices are pretty good too. Perhaps just a little too crowded for these Covid times.

Amazing selection of fresh fruit and veg. Much prefer to shop here for the produce than the supermarkets.. however, the freshness of the fruit/veg (not being chill-refridgerated (like supermarkets do)) means the produce spoils after 2-3 days. Also a great selection of middle Eastern jarred/pickled/canned products, herbs and spices.

I love coming here to get my fruit and veg over large supermarkets. Independent shop with everything you need and prices are much better than large chains. There is a bakery with nice bread and a butcher in the back although I don't buy meat from them. My only issue is the isles are quite cramped and if the tills are busy with people it can be hard getting round them. It doesn't stop me from doing my weekly shop there though

Going a long way from Canary Wharf to get some Iranian stuff, I visited this shop. Everything was alright except one of the ladies behind the till ( when you enter the shop on the right). She seemed to be either unhappy with her job or with her life as she did not reply my greeting and kept silent during the service. Also, when she was done with my shopping, she passed me the receipt and I thanked her, but still no reply. I am very disappointed with her customer service and am writing this maybe the manager or someone in charge can do something about it. I also recommend you to hire people who like their job.

This is an independent grocery store. The products are fresh and a far superior quality to what the supermarkets sell. They also hv a butchers at the back of the store. You can get fresh bread there. They sell very good quality Feta unlike the prepacked rubbish you get in supermarkets. The olives are amazing. I also buy my eggs from here as the quality is better and value for money. The only set back is the isles are very narrow so one has to be a little patient but definitely worth it. Also i would rather give my business to smaller independents than to the big corporate organisations.

I read the other reviews and there are some truths in some of the negatives, but lots of positives. Customer for many years, even during previous owner. My father knew the old man owner. Have (Fresh) Fruit Vegetables Spice produce from Mediterranean and Persian regions in the world such as Turkey, Iran, Jordan, middle east,... Good shop for fruits and vegetables not normally found in big supermarkets. And so, is a good place to shop after supermarket. I often buy Dates (Ramadan, careful where Dates actually from), small packet curry spices, lentils, sometimes rice, flours, fresh fruits, fresh vegs... The staff for the fruits and vegetables and general store are helpful. The staff people change after some time. It's Normal. Fast & Efficient. Accept Cash & Card, contactless, and will give receipts both for card and till if you ask for it when you pay (before next customer). The till staff take pride in their work and are helpful. The Halal Butcher ! At the back of the shop . 1,2,or 3 staff at the small/medium size butcher with heaps of meat on display when they have a delivery. Very cramped space standing at butcher counter, but can cope as customers are polite to eachother. Clear view of meat on display, all displayed usually nicely seperately with prices displayed. Meat may be Halal HMRC certified, but need to check at time. I agree with other customers that sometimes in past I saw the serving butcher was unwell with cold flu symptoms but still working. They usually wear gloves. But coughing/sneezing sometimes, and trying best to avoid. Can't be helped I guess, don't know what to say. Cook your food thoroughly. (The big supermarket food suppliers, did they sneeze cough on it, drop it, change the dates,..? You don't know). It's not nice to see, I know. Cook your food! I have a few main negative observations: When a customer buys meat and gives specific instructions, the butcher should listen,respond,and comply with reasonable requests. Such as, - inform the customer of the price before proceeding (eg skinning cutting chicken, removing lamb fat). - do not give my purchases in a bag that already has a bill stuck to it for another customer as when it gets scanned at the till I will unjustly overpay. Not right ! - Customer says skin off and cut chicken into 4 pieces, give me ALL bones. Why does the butcher still cut off the big middle bones sections and and the wing tips, and keep it all for themselves in their own saved bin? Even if I say i need the bones for special reason, make broth or wings for kids, etc, the butcher still discards the bones. If I am lucky too see it again, they still do it again, giving me just one wing and they keep the other? Honestly! That's rude and that's theft stealing. Not Halal. A Halal Butchers should have Halal meat and a person, a butcher, who provides a Halal service with Halal intention and Halal actions, and God willing Blessings will be given to the butcher person, the customer, and the shop and owner. - i asked before cutting a whole shoulder/leg of lamb, please show a sample size of a piece you are cutting. The butcher didn't bother on ocassions. It spoils the cooking and causes unpleasantness at home. Bad. - * A butcher (who wields a knife) should not have an Attitude problem in his work. Owner: Advice for advising. I hope the above helps the owner, the staffs in general who are helpful and good, and the customers. * I recommend this small very useful store to others, and advise that if you are unhappy, there are similar stores nearby with similar stock. The butcher experience has its good days and bad days. On a good day, great. If you feel it's a bad day, go elsewhere. Many to choose from. Bless
