L. A.The woman (owner) was very friendly, helpful and extremely informative. I ended up buying products I didn’t know existed, like grilled Mackerel in olive oil, or yellow tomato base sauce, all natural products with no preservatives. Look forward to shopping there again and will definitely try the restaurant out on my next visit.
D. F.What a hidden gem! Between the unbelievable food, the kind, incredibly helpful woman and man running the front of house, and the atmosphere, this has surely become a new favorite in Islington. Whether you're looking for authentic, Italian staples or seeking a simple, yet delightful treat, this is a must.
B. H.This is a lovely Italian grocery store where you can find top quality products from boutique producers in Italy. They have a great selection of cold cuts ranging from salami Milano, 'nduja, speck, bresaola, guanciale, pancetta, salsiccia, coppa etc. Furthermore, you will also find Pecorino (from Sardinia), gorgonzola, burrata, parmigiano Reggiano here. They sell one of my favourite pasta brands, Martelli, and some other small producers from Gragnano. You should definitely visit and meet them to talk about their products. It is a great learning experience!

R. J.Love this new food experience spot on Camden Passage. The duo are knowledgable, friendly and more than happy to help! The shop is beautiful - packed with treats and staples; a place where I will return to relax for coffee in the back room or up front in the window. The tiramisu machine?! Amazing! I am yet to try…but was offered a cannoli taster - filled and prepared in front of my eyes - Bellissimo!
J. S.I absolutely love this place- tucked away in Camden Passage Islington, which if you are not familiar with, is a very atmospheric street.
Egro is full of delicious Italian treats and genuinely what you want from a Deli. The cheeses are beautiful and interesting, and you are always given something to try.
The canolis are super fresh and made for you on the spot. The Pistachio Canoli is so delicious!
Perhaps best of all is the Tiramisu machine. Go and try it. Amazing. Bravo.
