EXTENSIVE What I appreciate about the Oxford Street Holland and Barrett branch is the wide range of products - especially for Vegans! Over the weekend, Saturday, 07 August 2021, I visited another health food store in a bid to pick up some Boron tablets. This fairly large competitor didn't have a clue. So, yesterday, I went to Holland and Barrett, Oxford Street as it was on my route. When I asked the store assistant, I was half expecting to receive a negative. However, to my surprise, the store assistant was familiar with Boron, it was in stock, and she was very knowledgeable. Impressive! What she didn't know, she researched... It turned out that she had told me the most important attributes (without having my look them up). I'm always passing through that particular branch, and the staff are usually very friendly with a sound knowledge of the products. INTERIOR I would say that the shop interior is quite spacious. The products are usually quite easy to find. Maybe it would be an idea to have a Vegan area to make life a tad more easier for us Vegans. The store layout makes it possible to browse stress free. They've always got special offers and it's worthwhile taking the time to see what the latest deals are. EXPERIENCE Surprisingly, the security detail was low. Normally, when I walk into any health food store, I get either a plain clothes store detective following me around, pretending to be discreet... Or I get your typical store security in a suit / shirt, making it very obvious that I'm a suspect shoplifter. Great! 🙄 None of that nonsense here! At Holland and Barrett Oxford Street, I made to feel like the valuable customer that I am! This is why I keep going to that particular store more than any other branch in Central London. Plus, it's usually open until 21:00! But that's Central London opening times... The open times will vary from store to store. Some will close at 18:00, while others close at 19:00. So, check the opening times of the branch you intend to visit to avoid disappointment. CONCLUSION Holland and Barrett, Oxford Street, is still up there with its competitors. Unlike the competition, H & B has many special offers on its own branded products and renowned brands. Some people have criticized H & B branded products for lacking potency, containing mainly 'filler' materials. I can't attest to this thought / criticism as the products I've purchased seem to work, and have made a positive difference to my well-being. SCORE 4 / 5 H & B Oxford Street would've gotten a perfect score if it had a Vegan section. Look, Veganism has proven to be more than just a trend... It's here to stay and more and more people are becoming Vegan or are, at least, trying. As a result, I think it's about time H & B dedicated space to Vegan products. Even though the products are labelled appropriately, the text can prove to be challenging to read because the print is too small. That said, I did buy a 'Vegetarian' product as the (potentially) offending ingredient is honey. I had to make an informed decision; it was a compromise that was necessary. I intend to purchase a Vegan alternative as soon as possible. Yep! The cost of Vegan alternatives can be prohibitive! Thanks for reading! Best wishes, Bear

Lovely store. Well stocked and clean. Store manageress was helpful and chatty. I initially came in for just some cod liver capsules but ended up buying more as there was a promotion on few products I really liked. Although it is not my local Holland and Barret I will try and make an effort to shop just in this store.

Went in today looking for a particular gift , l asked the shop assistant a young woman Shamma (?) Sorry if I remembered the name incorrectly . Unfortunately it was out of stock ,this lovely shop assistant ran to a neighbouring shop to get me one in stock there, what an amazing thing to do! ,I am so grateful ,thank you so much, All the staff in the shop are wonderful, but this was literally going the extra mile ,you are a star 🌟.Thank you so much.

I went there to buy one thing, left with two items. Spend 40 times more than I planed (based on my initial product). The shop by itself is quite difficult to navigate. Thanks to the employees I was able to get what I looked for. Great staff, with good knowledge who knows how to describe the product, but not to push to sell it. I was served by two people who had enough time for me, even though I'm not a fast decision maker when it comes to spend that amount on money on something so unexpected. Big thank you to a Muslim girl and tall dark skin boy who make this difference (sorry I don't have your names). For sure I'll be back to you for some more stuff!!!

You can't really tell from the outside, but this is a really big Holland & Barrett. They have a fresh vegetarian food deli and fridges filled with tofu and soya milk. The selection of nuts and dried fruit is really impressive and they also have a decent collection of organic / animal friendly beauty products.

They have a pretty good supply of all the specialty vegetarian foods I go here for, and a good section of cooking ingredients. My biggest complaint is the layout -- it's hard to queue here and queues can be quite long.

This is my local Holland & Barrett. Really like the staff and often chat to the manager when I see him as he comes from North West London not far from me. Great selection of health foods in there and pick up a lot of the stuff I need from there. One great favourite of mine is the Linwoods milled organic flaxseed which I always add to the Nutribullet to make my vitality drinks. A small downside is sometimes takes a while to get served, which if you are in a hurry can be slightly annoying. Otherwise a really useful shop which I like browsing around anyway.

Being the big Oxford Street store I was expecting a bigger stock, but it was only marginally bigger than most H&Bs. The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful though.

This is a good place to get a wide variety of vitamins. The penny sale (which is on most of the time) is especially a good option to get excellent vitamins at affordable prices.
