d. g.I visit this shop quite regularly and travel specifically because of the quality of the produce and the friendly helpful staff. I always find everyone that works in the shop very polite and have always been greeted with a smile. The older members of staff are always very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. I, personally have never had an issue any staff members looking miserable, young or old.

N. W.I've lived in Wapping a long time & use Hussey's alot, Lovely fresh meat, veg and flowers. However a couple of the female staff are so rude. It doesn't seem to matter how happy you are or how warmly you greet them it is like they are doing you a massive favour to serve you. The flower guy is always lovely & polite, cant he train the others to smile? The young girl also so smiley & helpful. As for the miserable older ladies.. Enough said. Plenty of people looking for work out there!
L. w.Vegetable quality is Okay, but really expensive. I really suspect get tricked by the price. Picked up one cucumber and one bag of broccoli, shop assistant said three something. Paid by card and came back home found the receipt was £5.19. It is quite a lot for 2 potion of veggies...

The ‘SHAME’ is that if you were unhappy with your purchase a simple phone call or a return of the product would give us the opportunity to rectify your complaint!
As for the ‘daisies’ i.e Gerberas , being wired – this is a standard procedure for certain types of cut blooms in order that the customer doesn’t need to trim the stems every couple of days to prevent the heads drooping.
C. W.Good selection of fruit veg and fresh flowers although the meals are very stodgy. Also the ladies smoke outside and don't wash their hands before serving.
A. D.Lovely little old timey grocery store, great products and friendly service. Got warm sausage rolls and scotch eggs this morning :)
E. R.This place does hot food at lunch time, but you have to ask for it as they don't advertise.
They will also make sandwiches and salads.
They also have a butcher shop a couple of doors away.
Personally, I think it's a bit pricey.
Staff wear gloves, but don't change them between handling food and money, so not a lot of point in wearing them in the 1st place.
P. A.They recently done a party buffet for us, which was great! The ladies were so helpful with the food choices. Beautiful and professional presentation!
