I worked in Soho for 3.5yrs and without fail, went to I Camsia & Son at least once a week. The sandwiches are delicious and ridiculously well priced for the quality and amount of produce you get. The staff get to know you, they're kind, friendly and knowledgable. Please - don't go to over-priced places like whole-foods, or Lina, shop with the local family business and keep the old Soho alive. It's a real gem.

Always enjoyed shopping here for some authentic Italian ingredients until I discovered that I was overcharged significantly last time I bought 100 grammes of salted capers, more than 8 quid! I shall avoid this shop for a while!

I hate the phrase hidden gem. Having said that, this has got to be the finest hidden gem in London. We no longer cook when friends are coming round for dinner ... we don't have to. The fresh homemade pasta and sauces are amazing. If it's lunchtime, you can't beat their ciabatta with cheese, salami, rocket, tomato and olive oil ... virtually the same price as a pre packaged Waitrose sandwich. Simply the best.

Whenever in the area I always pop in to Camisa for something. Very good selection of cupboard essentials and fresh cured meats. Popular with the Italian community and worth a try. Reasonably priced (cheaper than other Importers). Efficient service, but not particularly friendly.

Superiour Italian deli. Not cheep but they are not as expensive as Borough Market when it comes to San Daniele ham. I don’t know if Camisa & Son sell Culatello ham at all(Borough Market does)

This is a really lovely little Italian specialty shop tucked away in Soho. They have a really good selection of pastas, olive oils, and panettone, which we get from here every Christmas. They also do really tasty fresh tortellini which you can buy which makes for a lovely, easy dinner. A really great little shop that I highly recommend!

I’m looking forward to staying in Soho for a few days in a wonderful historic Airbnb..in Meard Street..once owned by the late artist, Sebastian Horsley. Some of his works remain. It’s a bit creepy in a good way. And I’ll be calling in Camisa to stock up. Earlier review Camisa is a historic Soho star. Italian deli with the best of Italy. Remaining open during lockdown, I lived close by, I bought red wine, fresh Barrata, sweet dolcelatte, fennel salami, mushroom ravioli, gnocchi with rocket, tomatoes, ciabatta bread, Italian sausages, artichokes and more. All were so delicious. Staying open to serve all local residents, thank you Camisa, I wish you well as we come out of Lockdown. Please do think of shopping here. It’s worth a journey and for sure you’ll get superb food, wine and service. Long live Camisa. I’ve returned often it’s a tiny shop but such a lovely spot to call in and take my time looking at the many delicious items around me. Often buy 2/3 Baratta cheeses along with a bottle of roasted artichokes to enjoy together.

This shop had been one of my references for 5 years, as for many people living in Soho. Great ingredients at OK prices, amazing selection of Italian goods, nice and efficient staff and, for lunch, incredible sandwiches that can be made from any ingredient they have on site for less than £5 (unless you go crazy on the truffle mortadella). I bring everyone new here.

Helpful staff who know about food - have shopped here for 25 years. Do not believe the tripe about rude staff. It can be busy so just be patient. Would always shop here for top Italian food - the bread if great and foccacia wonderful.

Nice old world deli. More different types of pasta than you can shake a stick at. The best thing is when you walk in the door...the smell! What a wonderful smell. I was looking for pastina, and found quite the selection here. Got what I needed without any trouble.

Goof selection of Italian food and friendly staff. You can find fresh ricotta (the real one!) and hams. Some items are a bit expensive: you can get the same pasta from supermarkets at a lower price.

I love this place and wish I were still in London to enjoy it. I'll never forget the conversation there. After a day of searching all the Italian shops in London for guanciale, I rather defeatedly entered this shop and asked if they had guanciale. The ladies at the counter talked to each other in Italian and then went to the back. And old man with a loud booming voice asked, "So, you want guanciale?" I replied in the affirmative. I wanted it for some authentic spaghetti alla carbonara. He smiled and said, "Yes, we have guanciale. We don't keep it out. We save it for people who ask for guanciale. And for you, we have gunaciale!"
