Lidi has lost its touch now.. no more cheap and cheerful! I love buying plants there.. Now you can't even get a decent good plants anymore. (My opinion) most of my favourites items are no longer there..((

Nice, clean & tidy branch. Car park, easily accessible by foot and public transport. Cycle parking. One of the smaller stores but well stocked and plenty of great homewares in their "Middle of Lidl" aisle. Like all stores their prices are cheap and most of the food is fantastic value for money especially the fresh produce.

Overall quality is high. Only major issue I had is with the minced meat, better avoid the 1kg and stick with smaller ones as the larger one is often mixed with badly gone off batches of meat (already black inside). This is normally hidden in the middle and is hard to notices unless you carefully check the meat in the middle prior to mixing it or cooking it.

It's an average Lidl. Doesn't have the full bakery like Bestwood St or Charlton but does have fresh orange juice machine. Fairly large middle of Lidl section. Smaller weekly food deals than other locations.

Lidl is Lidl everywhere, but this Lidl is the best because it has a fresh orange juice machine right next to the entrance door, on the right hand side. I love the fact that you only have to press one button of the huge machine and you can see the oranges being cut in half, squeezed in front of you and then poured in the empty bottle. There is nothing better than this and I love it! I just hope it will be set up in other Lidl stores, too, for more people to benefit from it. Also, the first time when I saw something like this was in Spain so every time when I buy orange juice from the Lidl juicer I always feel like I am in Spain again.

Who wastes time writing reviews about Lidl? Me apparently. It is fine. The miscellaneous tools and odds and ends baskets are kinda fun. The vegetables are vegetable like, and it's quite reasonably priced.

Usually fully stocked and the aisles are always kept tidy. The staff are polite and helpful. I did have a previously bad experience being ushered out promptly at 5pm on a Sunday even though there were plenty of people still queuing at the tills and I wasn't allowed to pick up another item needed for my shopping.

The prices are usually quite good, and the variety is decent (though still hard to do a full weekly shop there, especially if you have special dietary needs). They have self-service checkouts which is useful if you have a few items, but the software is a bit finicky - so if I have more than a basket of stuff I usually prefer the normal till (but there are always queues for those). I do like that they keep bringing new and interesting products every month - the only downside is that if you find something unique that you like, you might have to wait a while before they stock it again...

An absolute 5 star goes to the team. We’ve lost our wallet at the self-checkouts and they immediately reached out to us via social media and made all effort to contact us. Huge thanks goes out to Chris and the security guard on duty. We are regulars to this Lidl branch, we love that it is kept well-stocked, organised, clean and has a great selection of items.

It's a Lidl. Go for the prices, stay for the middle aisle. Of course as a main stay of Lewisham, it can get very busy. So parking can be a challenge and can feel congested. But apart from that you get what you pay for

The store does get busy during peak times. Sometimes long-life bakery products sell out as do the special offers. It's a good store overall.

Lidls is great, good food, a social conscience, competitive, sells organic and British. A really good supermarket and it is just over the road. Shop local and I do! Even the queues seem OK, as people will chat in Lidls. No complaints from me.

Despite them being a budget supermarket from Germany, they have a very polished look, clean, bright and modern. They offer pretty much a clone of all the major brands. I personally enjoy their pastry section which has much on offer at lower costs, may be not as fine as other bakeries but still very good. On Thursdays the offer something in the Middle of Lidl, your never know what they might put on sale.

More or less like every Lidl in a densely populated area. Great value and more or less everything that you need, but understaffed. If there will be an 3 more employees in the store everything will look much better. The fruit and vegetables area will be clearer and as a whole, the store will look neater. There is a need for more self-checkouts. At least double the current number. The staff seems like trying hard, but they are overwhelmed and tired. This reflects in their attitudes. They are a little grumpy all the time.

This store is going down hill. Seeing more mouldy produce. Tried to inform the staff member and she walked away from me as she didn’t want to help. Most times, you can’t find any staff on the floor. No soya milk now for around 2 weeks. Even if its a depot issue, theres no sign to say temporarily out of stock and of course no staff around to ask. Most times there is always a problem with the self checkout as well and the manned till queue is just to long for a couple of items. I hope some improvements will be made soon.

To be clear the reason why I am given four stars is because of the staff at the self service checkout on 26/09/2019 at 19.10pm who did not assist me to put through one item at the self service till as I was not sure if it needed weighing or not. I asked her to help to put the item through thrice but she obviously preferred to give me instructions instead. I shop at Lidl in several of their branches at least twice in a week and whenever I ask for assistance at the self service checkout, the staff are always happy to assist me, sometimes even more than I asked for, except this particular self service staff at the Lee High road branch on the above mentioned date and time. I love shopping at Lidl, it's God sent for low income earners like me, but I recommend training some of your staff on good customer service.

We adore Lidl as they never fail to fill the cupboard fridge and freezer for an amazing price. A fortnight shop for us (2 adults and 2 kids) is around the £100 mark which is excellent as this includes fresh meat juices and all the packed lunch bits we need. Although low on price the quality is excellent and they do well for their beat buys through out the year never failing to have some fab things on sale for a reasonable price

I was so pleased when Lidl came to Lewisham.... It can seem to get quite busy especially at this time - social distancing isn't easy or finding times that aren't busy... However it was the first place I didn't have to queue for and I have usually been able to get whatever I need (want, really!) Staff are generally really nice and there's usually a few people around.. fresh food is generally fresh and good not battered and ready to go off. Generally my go to when I need things (and I live opposite a Sainsbury's)

It is a great place for your weekly or monthly shop. They have good quality food at low prices. Some times of the day and weekends queues are more likely but not unbearable. Often out of stock of popular products, have asked all of the managers to increase their portfolio of plastic free products. They've said it is impossible to get things like potatoes, toilet paper and mushrooms in non-plastic packaging. We'll there is a plastic free shop and many farmers markets offering these things without the plastic and they're fresher foods... Anyway we stopped shopping here so much because of this although it is convenient

Fairly large store with a very good selection of UK brands as well as more exotic and unknown to most products which is good for discovering new tastes and meal ideas. Food quality is very good (a damn sight better than Tesco) and the prices are very low. They also have the "pack your shopping away from the till" shelf at the back so you can take as long as you like ordering your shopping before you leave the store! That also have a selection of specials including pretty much anything from TVs to bird tables every week. Checkout their weekly specials online.

Store is good. Full range as you find elsewhere. But parking is issue. You have to scan your receipt to enter your car registration number. If you are only dropping off or picking up, it's an issue. Also if you don't buy anything in case you don't find what you looking for, you still need to buy something to scan receipt for entering your car number.

Always clean and well presented, food is good value and tastes nice, drinks are very good value, and the stuff in the middle is of varying value but fun to search through. My only gripe is self service till 81 in Lewisham is pants - it doesn't scan well, probably as the interior glass is dirty. The staff know about it, but it's been like it for at least six months, and it makes being in the self service queue a soft game of Russian roulette.

Ok I am a great fan of Lidl but it depends on what you are looking for. Especially good for fruits, vegetables and bread. Good selection of salamis and great wines! What really annoys me is the people who take things from the fridge and then leave them out. It really takes 2 second to put things back to their proper place. Staff is helpful and you can see from their face how stressful their job is.

What it does, it does it simply and well! Supermarket is visible from the road and has ample car park. Ailes are spacious and products are displayed well, although sometimes the labelling goes amiss. It always has a good selection of essential groceries, discounted offers plus what I like to call the bonus surprise aile where you're not sure what you going to find but it always has some interesting things for the home. The staff need to smile more and space for packing near the till could be wider. Its a good customer experience overall.

I use to shop here a while back and I'm talking 2-3 years ago but I switched to on line as it was convenient etc etc but.... I was passing and stopped off to grab a loaf of bread and was astonished to see the whole store has had a complete make over... and it is so modern in here now and you truly can not get nearly everything under one roof, they've even install self service tills too, needless to say I ended up doing a full weeks shop to bring home... 10/10

Excellent, unbeatable value across the store, Lidl offers great choices for those on a budget or just pulling the purse strings. Staff are sometimes hard to find, but once located they seem to be quite helpful and friendly. Only gripe are the length of the queues. They sometimes tailback nearly 30 people long, but I guess that's the sacrifice we make for rock bottom prices. On the subject of the tills, there is an unwritten rule at Lidl. When you're at the till, the checkout staff will wizz your items through at lightening speed so you should, just as fast, put the shopping back into your trolley/basket, pay, then take your items to the provided bench to actually pack your shopping. Should you break this rule, expect tuts and dissaproving looks from the legions of other customers in the queue. Also, if you use the car park, remember to validate your parking using your receipt at the computer terminals at the front of the store, ahead of the checkouts!

Not the best shopping experience, but I gladly go there because of the outrageously good prices. + Being Lidl, everything is very reasonably priced + Has recently had a refurb so is quite nice inside - Not the best selection, sometimes they'll be out of common things (e.g. last time I went there were no bell peppers, another time there was no brocolli) - There's not much parking. If you go at peak times you may have to wait for a space - The queues are usually quite long

I am starting to love Lidl. This branch has all the Lidl good stuff (specifically the good quality German cooked meats and the good prices) It can however get very very busy at the weekend - I went one Saturday and had to leave because it was far too busy. Choose your time wisely!

All your dreams will come true. I don't need to book holidays since Lidl came to my neighbourhood. If you haven't experienced it, why not?
