Friendly staff. The shelves were well-stocked of a good variety of products. However, I spotted some expired jars of their brand’s brownie bites. (Hence the 4/5 stars) The date on them was the 23rd of September while it’s the 25th today. They should be more aware of expiration dates. Overall, it’s a clean and good place to shop.

Decent local sized Waitrose. Usually has a good selection of fresh vegetables and breads, and a wide selection of ready meal and pre-prepared food. Most of the checkouts are self serve, staff are friendly, security less so.

Love waitrose - a bit more expensive than Tesco but well worth it as you can see and taste the difference. Security and persons at this store have always been professional, courteous and helpful even my int’l card got rejected at the self checkout. They have the best cheesecake! Exactly like New York, amazing almond croissant but the selection of meats, although always fresh, were often limited.

As usual, Waitrose delivers high quality products and pretty good service in this tiny version. However, I found it frustrating not being able to get many ingredients to actually cook with. Fine if you want some milk, a sandwich, or a ready meal, for example, forget it if you actually cook yourself, though. Really it is just a nice corner shop.

If it wasn't for the staff at this place I'd give it 1 star. Unfortunately we have had a terrible experience with the security guard at this shop. We've lived literally in the building for 3 1/2 years, since it became a residential premise. However for some reason, a specific security guard had victimised, harassed me and my wife, once actually, he asked my wife by tripping her up. We have contacted head office and they ignored us. We spend a lot of money here, however I thinks it's obvious the days of local community shops are over. If you have the same trouble with the security guard that follows your every step, and sings (I know very weird) in your ear... Pop up to Tesco, it wait till Friday and Saturday when the good security guard is working ;)

Lovely fresh produce (got sick of buying slightly cheaper stuff from Tescos that turned out to be rotting/poor quality despite being within the use-by-date). Only one criticism. Love your salted fresh pretzels. but you only have them once in a while in the mornings. Don't like sweet things so iced buns=never, croissants=once in a blue moon. :)
