H.A quaint little Aladdin's cave,that has a lot of potential....one of the great things this place has ,is the beautiful young Napelese lady that usual runs the place,greets you with a smile,and has a great listening ear,and with that in mind is willing to expand what's on offer,in your favour,so why not give it a try,and continue to support your local store

H.Such a handy shop - not just because it is packaging free, but there is a genuinely excellent selection of good value herbs and spices and other dried goods, as well as all sorts of other packaging free alternatives. You can use any container as well - tupperware, jars and bottles are all fine! As others have said, the lady running the shop is very helpful and friendly, so don't worry if you've never been to a packaging free shop before or if you're just having a browse!

The staff are always so friendly and helpful, they'll weight your containers for you to fill or provide paper bags. I can highly recommend the granola, chocolate buttons, Bombay mix, mango, herbs, spices, flour, house cleanser. My little boy loves the eco 'kinder eggs'. Lovely staff too. Great prices - not expensive. I didn't mind the queue (5pm commute rush), there was lots to see.

Friendly staff are always willing to help out, and they offer a wide selection of organic, ethically sourced zero waste products including a variety of food (cereal, herbs, pasta, rice, spices), cleaning products (detergent, washing up liquid etc) as well as cakes and pastries. Highly recommended.
P. H.I'm pleased to see this new addition to Hither Green Lane. Mission Green sells more variety than you would think for a small shop. (Herbs, spices, pulses , nuts, cereals, coffee, tea, sugar, chocolate, bread, cake, cleaning products, toiletries, loo roll, bamboo tooth brushes, waxed cloth wrappers, reusable mugs and bottles, etc) and all at very reasonable prices and quality. I bought a shampoo soap bar and it cost less than the same product on Amazon - making the decision to shop local so much easier!
E. P.Another great experience at Mission Green. I asked about them arranging to sell live sourdough starter from local people who bake and they kindly said they'd look into it. I look forward to when they start selling fresh plant-based milks!!
L. R.Good selection of products, including dental care, washing up liquid, pasta, lentils, vinegar etc. will refill your container and they have some spare jars you can fill for impulse purchases e.g mixed herbs I bought.
R. H.This is a homely little place, with all your store cupboard ingredients neatly displayed in glass jars ready to decant into shoppers' own containers. Bring your own mason jars and empty laundry bottles and have the friendly staff fill them up. I have always wanted a shop like this in my area (I'm just down the road in Catford) and have resolved to make it my first port of call even though I have an Aldi mere steps away. Here's looking at a greener, supermarket-free 2019.
