Reviews of Natural Natural
C. L.
A Japanese grocer with fresh produce and delicious food. Prices can be more compared to nearby grocers. However most Japanese ingredients they stock. its located near Finchley Road tube station and Swiss Cottage tube station. So, easy access.
K. W.
The shop is situated on a corner every thing your need for the essentials for Japanese fare. It even serves lunch bentonite, and side dishes fresh. It is next door to the Japanese bakery
R. D.
The store has a wide variety of Asian groceries, especially Japanese groceries. They sell Indomie here, one of my favorite.
D. H.
Great selection of Japanese groceries. Plus yummy bento style takeaway, sushi, rice bowls, sashimi etc
Recommend!
T. T. L. (. L.
If you are looking for affordable Japanese groceries and detail-minded Japanese customer service, you should come and see!! Definitely recommended!!!
D. C.
Nice little Japanese grocery store selling authentic Japanese and Asian produce. We'll stocked and the fresh bentos, sushi, onigiri look delicious
C. L.
Lovely, fresh and tasty sushi, run by genuine Japanese people. You’d be paying more for a box of sushi from the Waitrose around the corner.
Glad I found this place, support your local businesses
R. N.
Best place for fresh Japanese root vegetables, sake, dried goods and of course onigiri, Katsu curry and sashimi/sushi
O.
Very delicious and fresh.
Excellent customer service.
And a wide variety of Sake.
Will come again.
L. B.
Small but well stocked Japanese mini mart, excellent prepackaged Japanese food for takeaway, FRESH sushi and snacks, bento boxes, as well as a comprehensive selection of ingredients and sauces large enough to satisfy any budding chefs, including those harder to fine bits and bobs. Staff are genuinely Japanese and friendly too.
L. H.
Really nice traditional Asian / Japanese food supermarket. There are always Asians there which is a great sign and they have an amazing selection. Nice sushi and cold lunch foods to takeaway, and also great ingredients to make sushi at home
M. J. M.
It's the local areas little secret. Wide range of goods definitely worth a visit.
R. P.
Great selection of Japanese groceries at reasonable price and staff are very helpful and friendly. They also sell delicious ready meals. The shop is small but allows social distancing as they only allow 5 people inside at all times
F. i. h. w.
I love that shop, especially for picking food for lunch. They have a various selection of Japanese dishes, all fresh and very well prepared. Prices are also pretty decent.
B. P. C.
Excellent Japanese grocery shop with a great selection of fresh seasonal ingredients as well as frozen and cupboard items. Also delicious selection of ready to eat dishes and bento boxes. Their marinated miso fish is truly exceptional!
Kind and well mannered staff along with competitive prices. They also recently started an online shop. Definitely recommended!
J. T.
Very good Japanese grocery store that also has a nice selection of food to go . The Onigiri are really good , but get there before lunchtime if you want the coveted Tuna Mayo flavour ! Whilst the store is small , it’s far more pleasant than shopping in the Japan Centre , which has gotten progressively worse since moving from its original site on Piccadilly . In these oddest of times it’s the closest you’ll get to experience a little bit of Japan .
J.
The shop is not big but there is different varieties of Japanese goods. I finally found the small Japanese sweet potato there!!!
f. m.
Better price/quality ratio for ready meals than 99% of markets/restaurants in London. Also, great selection of products and ready-to-cook items. The fresh seafood and produce quality is great. Love this place <3
Y. C.
5 stars for it Kara-age (Japanese Fried Chicken). Pure Japanese taste , please try the one with sauce !! Nice JP grocery
E. R.
I like this store for having a take away cooked goodies like tempura, satay skewers, prepared sushi or seaweeds salad, salmon, mackerel and many more I would love to taste! Slightly on the expensive side but they have reasonable priced stuff as well. Small store but plenty of goodies.
E. F.
Great little shop with Japanese and some other oriental staples. We use it regularly.
Also sell premade simple sushi and deep fried selections which can be a good time saver but unfortunately waste a lot of plastic.
M. F.
Fantastic Japanese grocery store, with good selection. They also have a wide selection of fresh lunches everyday, that are delicious at good value for money.
Good to know: small kids can like onigiri! (savoury rice cakes with stuffing) Perfect for a picnic with my 2 year-old, he loves this place too. They make them daily, with white or brown rice and a variety of stuffings. Highly recommend!
C. L.
A super sweet Japanese shop run by lovely and polite staff. Authentic food, and a good variety of both shelf and fresh produce. Some items tend to be on the pricey side, but you can count on high quality stock. They also have a small selection of sashimi, sushi and bento boxes to choose from - no seating unfortunately, but the fresh food is worth trying!
A. W.
small and lovely place. When I compare the price with Japan center, it’s more expensive.
H. T.
Fresh, long life and ready to eat Japanese produce! They stock most things japanese and have reasonably priced fish. Staff are very helpful and polite.
D. P.
Great service and attentive staff offer good shopping experience.
D. N.
Simply the bedt little corner of Japan in London. Delicious takeaway meals and fantastic fish and meat. Dont buy your sushi at thebig supermarkets like the Waitrose sushi counter, instead come to Natural natural for a taste of true Japan. Tomo arigato.
J. A.
Delightful Japanese store. You will find a lot of authentic Japanese food and ingredients here. They have also food to go. Expect the prices to be on a high end.
W. M.
A small local Japanese shop super handy to have around but it is expensive.
M. X.
Lovely little shop. They have a great sashimi and hot food section and a top selection of japanese groceries. The staff a wonderfully polite too, always a pleasure.
I. Y.
Great coffee and wide range of unique products!
E. (.
I'm so happy to have found this place, it has a wide selection of Japanese/Asian imported products . I always go here to buy bento for lunch, the price is very reasonable and tastes better than many Japanese restaurants in London.
T. X.
Great selection of Japanese groceries and fresh vegetables. Also have shabu shabu beef and pork, and everything you need for a hotpot in winter!
Location is perfect too. Just on the opposite side of a large Waitrose so they complement each other!
J. M.
Would be a 4 star for the grocery store, but the fresh sushi and sashimi part is not good. The rice is always not cooked correct and sometimes the fish tastes funny. I do not recommend their sushi selection.
J. Z.
A great local Japanese grocery store where you can find anything starting from Japanese sweets and instant noodles to fresh sashimi and already made Japanese style dishes. Although, some prices might be a little higher than in China town, on average it is cheaper than in Japan Centre (piccadilly circus).
J. T.
Love this shop. Very good range of Japanese food. Nice meals offering too
A.
Good selection of Japanese condiments, sweets, fresh bento, fish and fruit and veg. Would be 5 starts but it's just that bit to expensive.
i. d.
I brought ramune and pocky from here. The pocky was a little expensive but was really nice. I had lost the thing which you push the marble down with and i asked them for a new one but there was none left. My ramune ended up breaking anyway. Next time I'll open it indoors instead of out. However the staff were really genourous. Would come again.
F. K. (. M.
I absolutely love this place. I wish it was a bit bigger so it could hold more stock. Having said that, it's difficult to find fault. Everything I want is there and easily found. I just know that if I had more variety I would buy more. As I said, there's absolutely no criticism if this place (from me). If you're anywhere near Finchley Road underground and want to get something different (other than supermarket rubbish), you won't be disappointed. 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
L. F.
Nice selection of Asian food, mostly from Japan
P. B.

(Translated) Although the shop is small, the quality of the food is good and the price is reasonable. The rice balls and fried food are great and worth trying.

(Translated) I used to shop at a Japanese fish shop, but since the management team changed, the number of Japanese staff decreased and the service dropped drastically, so I decided to shop here to change the riverbank. became.
Fresh fish is already sliced in units of 50g to 100g and is included in one plastic pack, so I think it is a good way to buy it for convenient people, but will you accept another order such as "assortment for several people"? I don't know. The food store next door is generally a little more expensive. I think it's good for people who live nearby or use delivery, but if you go to central London frequently, you can go to a certain Brewer St. shop or Chinatown (if the same thing is sold). To be honest, you don't have to buy it here because it's cheap.
Overall, fresh fish such as sashimi was good, so I would like to continue using it. Others have said that it has 4 stars, but there is certainly room for improvement in the private language and attitude of the clerk ~ 😆. Well, I don't care about my own language personally, but if you have a customer service attitude ... The fresh fish Itamae-san are quietly handling the fish with a dark expression and are not lively, and there is no shout of "Welcome" (Welcome) It's a fish shop). The woman in charge of the cash register at the food store next door feels like an Englishman working at a cash register at a British supermarket 😆. It's not Rude, but it's not Friendly, and it's a really casual atmosphere by the standards of Japanese shops. But since this is the UK, it's terrible to ask for a stupid and polite service like Japan.

(Translated) A Japanese food store that also sells bento boxes and sashimi. The type of bento is fixed and I get tired of it, but it's delicious. Assortment and prices are common for Japanese food stores in London. Due to restrictions on entry to Corona, it is often lined up on weekend afternoons.
The clerk who is always there is basically all unfriendly. The clerk talks happily, but the customer service is dry. Of course, if you talk to me from here, they will respond properly. It's said that it's more ingenious to ask the clerk of an overseas Japanese food store to be considerate, but it's also true that there is a lonely side to being hung up in a place where you can feel Japan for a while.
(Original)
