This local shop offers various types of Asian food including Japanese mochi, Chinese dumplings, Thai dry fruits, chilli oils, dry mushrooms, ready made noodles and noodles pot, frozen meats, many kinds of rice and so on. Compared to other shops the prices are much higher. I guess this is because of limited number of Asian shops around. The prices on the food shelf have not updated for many months so whenever you want to buy something, need to take it to the till to check the price. Overall a handy shop for the locals.

Minimum £5 for card payments. Friendly staff. Good selection of Chinese groceries like frozen dumplings, a variety of noodle types, pot noodles and sauces for everything... and more! Interesting seafood selection which I have not yet tried. Large water fountain and Buddha sculptures outside. Lots of stock and not everything priced, as mentioned in other reviews. But a great shop that I would continue to shop at.

To be honest, I love this place and it’s always got a good range of products and the fresh seafood counter is also a nice touch. Some reviews here seem unfair as other happy shoppers are automatically classed as ‘sad’ (rude much?) and no real issues seem to have been identified (apart from hygiene concerns which I have never experienced myself so no comments there). The staff is always friendly and helpful. Rated a little lower as I agree, some of the products are more expensive but rather than trekking all the way to Chinatown, I’d happily spend that travel money on the slightly higher prices at Ocean supermarket 👍🏼

Small store however they have some decent items here which aren't available in most British stores. Wasabi Peas yummy 😋 Got myself a hot x2 Spicy noodle which was delicious but SPICY. Did it for the challenge as you see a few of people do. Check this store out for some traditional chinese food.

Changed from before, now hardly any fresh food, and mostly frozen. Not a bad selection of Chinese and some Japanese / Thai / Korean foods, but pricey compared to China town or Hackney, which have a much greater selection of products available at much cheaper prices. The staff here couldn't be more disinterested if they tried.

Really nice and helpful staff. For those saying they are not great at English, I thought they are good enough, and a few of them are actually completely fluent. Agree price labelling and hygiene could be slightly improved, but overall it's got a good stock and nice staff.

My local asian supermarket. Stock a lot of the stuff many other asian supermarkets nearby do not (Oseyo etc), and a lot more difficult stuff to find too (e.g. black boba ice cream). Staff are always pleasant in there too!
