Reviews of Plentiful Foods Indian Spice Ltd
S. G.
Huge Indian grocery store with fantastic range of Haldiram products. Everything from fresh sweets to frozen products including snacks in Haldiram brand is available in this store. It is a preferred shopping place for Students in & around central London. Literally 5mins walk from Tube station & if driving there is parking outside the store & this store is not in Congestion zone too.

I'm new in London from Australia and this was the closest I found for me to get my Sri Lankan spices. 10+ years in Australia hasn't got rid of my need for meals for Sri Lanka. All the different spices in different sizes, different kind of rice in different sizes and alcohol if you need something extra for you meal. Shop is a little small but what isn't in London. Prices are fairly good and would go back for sure. :)
B. J.
Get better stuff here than back in India. :P love the selection of frozen parathas, all types of spices and pastes. It’s my go to place for stocking up on all Indian groceries
S. K.
Great place well run, lovely helpful staff.
Excellent selection of spices, herbs, large selection of vegetables, all manner of different beans and pulses to be fair i was so confused with the selections on offer I had to ask staff to help guide me which they more than happy to accommodate i found that pleasantly refreshing.
Would recommend well worth a visit.

This was my second visit and let me tell you that I was very impressed both times. Very organized store with a great variety of spices and other Asian products. For sure a place to visit more often.

You get everything here. Indian spices, flours, readymade chapathis. Great for Indian students who live in central London

Great place to fulfill all Indian grocery needs. Staff is very helpful and genuine.
I was buying two packets of spice when the owner interrupted me and suggested not to buy 2, but rather just one as it might go stale quickly once opened. Rather than trying to increase his sales he preferred to tell the truth. Very pleased!

My little India to pick my favorite haldiram junk, pani puri and my kidos fav lays spanish tango! Not to forget the life saving kumaran dosa batter and lijjat sindhi papad...you name it..they have it : ) 😊😊😊

Nice people, wide variety of Indian spices, foods, snacks, vegetables and frozen food. Good prices. Great shop in Central London for most popular (and some not so common) Indian food stuff. Recommended!

The range and quality of pantry items is huge.
The store may look tiny from outside but it’s very well stocked. The staff is really kind and helpful.
I am glad I discovered this store and would highly recommend it.
P. S.
Very nice place. Had all that I needed. Found the handmade Pickle to be a little pricey considering the small quantity.
Overall, not a very inexpensive but a fulfilling option in Central London for all Indian needs.
P. B.
I would be surprised if they didn’t have what you were looking for here. They had everything I was looking for and more. Cheaper than a lot of online shops as well. Helpful staff, ready to direct you to a spice location.
A. P.
The best place for Indian food lovers!!!!!
R. B.
Surprised by the vast range of things from all over India. Pretty good. Its also a friendly store. We bought a utensil item but weren't sure if it would be suitable, the storekeeper let us return it and happily issued a refund. We're happy to rely on this place!
A. H.
Good, well stocked with all Indian things.

S. B.

D. L.
If you like to cook Indian food, this is a great resource. Great selection of spices, pickles and key ingredients in large and small quantities and keenly priced - much better value than any high street supermarket. And several authentic restaurants on the same road. I love this place.
S. M.
Very convenient. This shop is way more convenient for us than trekking all the way to Wembley or Southall on a regular basis. They have pretty much every Indian grocery item you could want and the staff are friendly and helpful.
M. W.
I used to work close by to here and used it as often as I needed. Now if I'm ever in London and not necessarily close by I'll call in to get things. There's a great range of spices and things not found in other grocers. Also, they stock Anila's sauces at reasonable prices.
I always enjoy returning here for the groceries (and I guess a little nostalgia).
I'd highly recommend it.
A. A.
Fantastic spread of groceries and other Indian culinary products. Excellent range if spices and fresh exotic produce. Wonderful kind attentive staff. Brilliant quality frozen flatbreads and other Indian goodies, including spices, herbs, snacks and sweets, many items sourced directly from India, like incense sticks, Mysore Sandal soap, Pudinhara digestive aids, and pickles too. Seasonal Alphonso Mangoes available.
R. S.
Excellent collection of Indian spices and food items. Very convenient if you want this stuff in central London, it's a couple of mins walk from Euston station.
V. M.

This is an amazing shop for all the Indian ingredients like curry leaves coriander leaves or Methi leaves all manner of chutneys and pickles more spices than you would know what to do with and very helpful friendly staff all in all well worth a visit
L. M.
An absolute gem 💎 of store that has withstood not only Corona but the threat of HS2 rail plans, but happens to offer exceptional high quality spices, Indian produce and impeccable service but is a part of London culture history for over 50 years
N. D.
All things indian. Spices to cook, frozen to make in a jiffy or even ready to eat cooked food to take away

Have not been to Drummond Street for many many years, a lot has changed.
The plus thing was this shop, which used to be a lot smaller.
There used to be different grocery shops next to each other, it seems the owners of this shop has bought the others out, hence one very large shop.
I had been searching my local area for Juwar flour milled by Jalpur but no one stocked it.
Fortunately, this shop had it, located at the far left corner of the shop , in a box on the floor.
I bought 4 of these, hooray.
This expanded shop is a treasure trove, oozing with incredible variety of indian food related items.
The prices were very competitive with what I normally pay for my items, which was a bonus
I really enjoyed looking at the choices, many of which I have never seen.
I got a basket full of goodies.
The 2 gentleman at the till were very friendly when I told them how long ago I had come to the Drummond street. Had a nice chat. They even told me the local restaurants we could try.
On leaving the shop, I saw some green chillies outside the shop.
So I picked about 12 of them and went back to the gentleman to pay for them. They did not charge me for it, which was very nice of them, thank you for that.
This shop is about 25 miles from where I live but I will make it a point to visit it when ever I drive up to london
You have a great shop there. Every food lover should visit it . Recommended *****

It's a small place but it mostly has all the Indian groceries you need
G. J.
Has some of the best selection of indian spices you can find in central London. Even in places like tooting don't have some of the spices found here. Great shop.
D.
Good place to pick up all those little bits that can't be found at major high street supermarkets. A tad pricey compared to shopping in Wembley or Southall but not extortionate. Wonderful, knowledgeable, friendly staff.
S. C.
the go to shop for spices! friendly staff
A. F.
This is a brilliant Indian grocer. It’s an Aladdin’s cave filled with Indian delights, spices, prepared foods, kulfi, unusual drinks, & everything you might need to cook an Indian meal. It’s the best little Desi grocer in the area.
S. D.
Been going here for almost 10 years. Maybe a little bit more expensive than Wembley/Kingsbury but a very very convenient location and don’t mind paying a little premium for that. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and put the heavy items in the car for you.
H. H.
When you've tried every supermarket, health food shop and chemist for castor oil....silly me, should have come here first. A veritable cornucopia of everything edible and marvellous extras like incense, brass holders, ayurvedic massage oils, organic soaps, and strange things you've never heard if but want to try. Love it...
M. M.
Not many Indian grocery shops like this still around... A huge range of items in stock including fresh curry leaves, plus fresh Indian vegetables, a huge selection of spices, dried legumes and pickles, plus everyday groceries.
S. R. S.

A world of Indian spices and groceries. It is a treasure trove where you can find almost anything Indian that exists. If you are in the shop, then look for the magic fan, that looks like it is suspended magically in mid-air.
M. H.
