S. M.Leaving a positive review for great service - I wanted a gift for friend who’d just had a baby but didn’t need any more baby stuff. I was told that Sans do hampers, so I messaged them on Facebook and they put together a great selection of cheese, snacks and a bottle of wine. They had it ready for pick up two days later and my friend loved the gift.
I’ve only been in a few times as I’m not that local - my impression is that it’s not the cheapest but perfect for those extra treats on your normal shop or high-quality ingredients if you’re cooking a special meal.
C. F.Lovely little store with some fabulous produce. I have some new favourite buys from here. The vegan Chilli cheese is bliss, I love that they stock plantain, Tree of life organic dried mango mwah! and 🙈 love that they stock salted Caramel Pana chocolate. Friendly and helpful staff.
P.I really like the Sans Store. It has an interesting range of top quality organic foods. The bread and fruit and vegetables are good. The staff are welcoming and helpful and the store is open 7 days a week. Shop local! You'll love this place
L. A.Lovely selection of reasonably priced wines, delicious baked goods and yummy cheese and fresh produce ..I have tried the a vegan truffle Camembert style one, delicious. Also stock Tony’s chocolate, it’s sooo delicious...not sure it’s this is a good thing or a bad thing for me!? Great to have such a good shop in the area. I have always had great customer service...
P. C.I'm very conscious that this is a new-ish business trying to survive and hopefully thrive in a challenging environment and so my review is set in this context.
Firstly the shop is utterly charming and I found the service to be friendly and engaging. The product range is eclectic and limited only, I imagine, by the available space.
Where I diverge from other reviewers is on the matter of price. I found many of the products on sale here to be uncompetitively priced relative to similar stores in places like Crystal Palace or indeed, Dulwich village. Of course I don't expect Lidl prices for products of the nature and quality sold here but neither do I wish to feel ripped-off after a shopping trip and rightly or wrongly, this has been my experience of Sans.
Lovely as it is I'm afraid I won't be returning anytime soon.
C. P.Absolutely lovely store and a super friendly couple running it. Highly recommend their cinnamon buns and crusty sourdough baguettes! So many delicious treats to try and always something new and exciting every time I go in there. Fantastic addition to the neighbourhood

Reasonably-priced, good quality staples and some lovely interesting little bits including a fantastic condiment selection. Love the vegan sausages and cheeses.

D. R.Made the trip down from Bristol to check the store out. The owners were very friendly and helped with any queries I had. Ended up with a small hamper of goods. The raw butter is absolutely amazing.
