G. J.Great place. Will stock just about anything that is in season. I really can't understand some of the negative reviews on here. It's a family run business and card payments incur a processing cost for them, so if you're spending less than a fiver, the decent thing to do is to go and get some cash out of the MANY cash points nearby instead of moaning about the £5 minimum card spend. Could walk to a free cash point in 2 mins from the shop. Hope the shop always sticks around!

T. K.I'm the first to complain when things are off, but I've always been pleased with Seasons. They have a wide range of fresh produce and the price is right. Great to have them handy when I need a pinch of this, or that for a recipe. I like the way they use brown paper bags and allow option to go bagless. A few times I was short and they let me pay the next time. Once I was unhappy with the produce and they let me swap it out. I enjoy returning to Herne Hill and knowing there will be familiar faces down there.
J. T.You can get pretty much anything you could ever need here in terms of veg. They also have nuts and eggs and various other bits. All of the produce is good quality and appears to be locally sourced. Most importantly, it feels very reasonably priced - I have managed to pick up all the veg for a Sunday roast for a couple of quid before now. You can pick up pretty much any herbs you need as well, much better priced and quality than at the supermarket.
The staff are very helpful and friendly as well - just ask if there's anything you need.

For the amateur chef, you can rely of these guys to stock everything from pimento de padron to wild mushrooms and edible flowers. They will even do you a custom bouquet garni... what's not to like!!? Seen reviews saying staff are rude, could not be further from the truth. Family run business and never had bad service yet.
