Great store. Good deals and competitive prices for food. Very impressed with the service of the staff, especially at the self-service tills. There's a few great clearance sections at the ends of aisles. Really like the polish section with lots of pickled foods. The Asian section used to be better and is now a lot more scattered. Not such a great noodle and treats selection anymore. The wine section could be a bit better too.

I first moved to the area about 8 years ago, then I left but moved back again last year. This Tesco used to be much better back then. They have less versatile products and now they have more cheap stuff that are not good quality. They used to have more fine wines and fine dining products, now they seem to only cater for people with less money or simpler needs. They have a lot of cheap bad quality wines. They used to have more seafood products on the shelves.

Excellent place to recreate a true Pizza Express experience. Bread balls for only 1,5 pound and pizza for 3 pounds instead of the usual 5 or so. What a steal! The only issue was that I didn’t know what to buy as the starter and ended up eating salad and garlic bread, which didn’t go as well with the theme as they should have. Any tips would be appreciated, thanks!

I grew up shopping at this Tesco ever since I was a kid! There have been numerous changes in the store over the years which is amazing! Ever since Covid-19 the store has been more cleaner! Sanitizer on tables and around the store with blue rolls to wipe your trolley which is good! Managers/staff always on point to help guide you to free tills. Staff are helpful when asking about a certain item. The music played in the store seems to be very cheerful these days! Probably to help us through these difficult times! There is a variety to choose from which is what I love about Tesco! Clothes/pajamas are a little expensive for some reason but I guess that's Tesco for you. Like they say, "every little helps!" :P LOL

Suzie the duty manager was very helpful and friendly, credit to the company. We had been trying to buy fresh sea food at the Tesco fish mongers last week but was unsuccessful, today we decided to try again but the counter was closed yet again. Suzie liaised with the relevant managers and swiftly arranged for us to have what we wanted. All of this due to misunderstanding on counter opening hours. We appreciate we are still in the middle of a pandemic and services are reduced, it would be so much easier for us as a customer to navigate if there are clear signs and notices. None the less, Suzie's help and understanding today has made us one happy customer.

If I had to rate products only it would be 4.5 starts. However, staff is not wearing masks properly at any time of the day (some have none and they work on self-checkout), and the delivery is hit and miss. There is no consistency in customer service. One day I will talk to very polite and kind staff members and the other day I will be treated very coldly.

This store is collosal! I recently saw an entire aisle of just easter eggs! Home wares, Electricals, Opticians and of course food. This place has a lot of choice and a lot of space to move around comfortably. Easily the biggest supermarket for miles around and they're even open later than other Tescos.

Pros: Great choice, good opening hours Cons: Not taking adequate health & safety precautions. Numerous staff members were just not wearing masks, or only half wearing masks so their noses were not covered. Checkout staff were scanning through items when the previous customer had not had a chance to pack their shopping away, meaning that multiple different groups were having to congregate at the packing section of the checkout.

The Surrey Quays Tesco's is great. Always plenty of variety. The fresh meat and fish section has a wide choice of produce, and thats a bonus in it's self. Lovely friendly staff, who always seem happy to help.

PHENOMENAL TESCO Do you need home goods? Get everything from a blanket to a toilet brush here. Need electronics? Covered. Do you need to pick between 15 different types of ketchup, 15 different types of Mayo, and 9 different types of baked beans? Tick, tick, tick. In a city where big Tesco’s are rare, this is a standout option, and frankly a joy to stroll around. Remember to bring a quid for the trolley - you’re gonna need it.

Brilliant Tesco Extra! Not the biggest Tesco Extra (The Beckton Gallions Reach one is bigger and not too far) but don't let that stop you from shopping here! Excellent product variety and a wide range of products! The store even has a Next inside it and Tesco's own clothing range F&F. The aisles are big packed full of different items and it is excellent for everything! There is a huge range of homeware products and technology items too! I do believe that Tesco is quite a bit more expensive than Asda and Morrisons so if you are on a budget do avoid this Tesco branch but the special offers are sometimes unmissable! For example, they are selling a range of books including Harry Potter and Roald Dahl 2 for £7 when the RRP is normally £7.99! Absolute bargain! The store was clean and the customer service was excellent. The staff are very friendly too. Everything is well organised including the social distancing measures put in place! The queues are long on Saturdays but are fast moving! However, it's a nightmare to get a trolley. I spent 25 minutes walking up and down and around the car park looking for a trolley and finally I got one from a lovely couple. Thanks to customers stealing the trollies and leaving them to themselves, they have locked off one of the largest trolley bays in the branch! Overall, I do recommend that you shop here but come by ourself as you will go mad looking for a trolley!

Earlier this morning I visited this store and was most impressed with the measures they put in place to support social distancing: the trolleys looked as if they were recently steam-cleaned, there were dividing barriers and markings on the pavement to manage queues at the store entry, there were staff guiding customers in; cashiers at tills were protected by glass and there were lines to separate shoppers. Most importantly - they were full of stock of most essentials: hand washes, bleaches, detergents, sprays and all sorts of cleaning liquids, cloths and sponges! There are no shortages, and supply chains do seem to have pumped up more stuff through so shelves are being filled up. No need to panic-buy, we are not going to go without! I would like to express my deepest gratitude to management and staff in that store for handing the situation so admirably and for putting in place the measures which both serve the public and also protect staff! Great variety of products and some really good offers. Definitely the most complete supermarket in Canada Water! Reviewed: I can't stress enough the wonderful service the staff offer at this store. My phone got lost yesterday while I was shopping and a lot of the staff went the extra mile to help me find it and then finally found it and returned it to me. Best Tesco by far - great range of unexpected and interesting items at reasonable prices and superb staff. Lee went out of his way to find an item out the back for me and when we discovered it was slightly damaged the General Merchandise Manager lady whose name I regrettably did not get could not have been more helpful. Tesco Surrey Quays is a great place to go shopping. I have been coming here for over 7 years and I love the employees there, they're soooo nice and I gotten used to seeing their lovely smiles and they always come up to me to ask me how I have been and just being so kind. I always find what I need here, and if I don't usually I am interested by what's on offer to keep my always enjoying what I buy. My only cons are sometimes I don't find freshly baked bread after 6pm, but I suppose that's not really a complaint, it's just a personal opinion, sadly as I finish work usually after 5:30pm. Either way I love this place and the people who work in it. I totally recommended it as your shopping destination, as I shop their literally every single day.

Standard Tesco Extra offering, this place gets busy at peak times. Self checkouts fashion either a basket or carrier bag or the screen flipped up to show not working which is a common site. Rare to see them all working. One of the best gluten free selections going which is nearly one aisle now. Customer service desk quality is random depending which staff member is on.

Great range of products, which is great! My only qualms would be the customer service and the process of paying. The place is so huge it must be no easy task to navigate, it's understandable if the staff aren't sure of where every item is placed. So the issue isn't their lack of knowledge but their rudeness and blunt disregard of the consumer experience. There needs to be more assistance on the floor or maybe have screens installed with an interactive map which can direct customers. Also, the self-checkouts are always broken and floor staff do not know how to fix it. Better management is needed to train them.

This has been my local "big" Tesco for years and in my opinion has the best range of stock compared to other local branches of similar size. It has everything you need under one roof - customer toilets, optician, pharmacy, clothing, bakery, deli and butcher (including a separate Halal counter). It now has 2 self-checkout sections and ample amounts of the regular tills, although on weekends these are not very well staffed. Staff are generally efficient and can be friendly enough.

Basic products have now become quite expensive (for its value) Has cut down on a lot of bigger sized item that they once had. I still have a lot of items I buy from this store but other product's, I will get from Lidls or cheaper (If needs be poundland, Iceland, or the market for fresh items) Great for a quick shop, and if you don't want to shop around. I highly commend Michael in the Pharmacy! He is a proper pharmacist! He gave me very important information about my meds and NHS prescriptions, which none of the other staff from the pharmacy provided. I guess the difference is Michael is a pharmacist and the rest are pharmacy dispensers. To top it all Michael was also the friendliest!

Regular Tesco, easy to navigate and with good selection of international specialities and fresh foods. The cashier system is not well organised leading to constant long queues. In my last visit 5 out of 8 self service units were out of order. Staff seems apathetic to customers (reminds me of London Underground staff).

There is a large car park, plenty of spaces, especially if you don't need to park right next to the entrance! Open all hours - weekdays 6am-1am, Sat 6am-12am, Sun 11-5. Has a chemist which opens until 10pm (5pm on Sundays). Also has an opticians and a mobile phone shop. And a Next clothing area! The store itself has just about everything, including small electrical appliances, and a halal butchers. Helpful and pleasant staff. You can also pick up your online orders here.

Come here if you want tesco food. If you are after sainsburys you will be disappointed. Lots of variety however you can never be sure if you'll get a good mark down deal, part of the fun of this place! Checkout staff are friendly and are always happy to play ''guess the price game''. If I have to describe this store in a sentence it will be - Tesco is all you need under one roof. The incredible selection of items makes this place amazing because you can combine your grocery shopping with buying gardening products or electronics. It saves you the time and money to visit different stores. It is a fact that the queues are really long and sometimes quite chaotic but there is an obvious reason for that - everyone chooses Tesco. In the end it's worth the waiting because the prices are really competitive.

This Tesco extra has everything needed from groceries to bedspreads to drinks to toys for kids. They also have decent clothing line displayed in the store. This Tesco has really good offers on daily basis and much cheaper than Asda or Sainsbury's. Collection of ready to eat meals, fresh meat pretty good. Visit for monthly or weekly shopping and to save some pounds.

Bought some fruits and microwave food as I'm only visiting the city and staying in a hotel. £15 or so in total. Used credit card. The staff asked for my ID for using that card. And it had to be a photo ID... I lived in this country for 4years before. This never happened. The staff was clearly giving the customer before me a hard time. That customer happened to be Asian as well.. Makes me wonder if there is a pattern. Horrible experience.
