Mouth watering mushroom and broccoli pie with fresh salads all tasted wonderful. Staff are always friendly,and I'm not a ghost in this wonderful deli maybe because I can talk to anyone. The service meets all my expectations,as I know what I want before entering the shop. As with any shop selling great food it can get busy inside,but that is a good sign that the food is made everyday. When ever I've visited the shop I've seen the owner who is very friendly. When I entered the shop today everyone said hello to me,but I'm a very friendly person. I'm not local to the shop,but if I'm working near by then I'll try,and pop in for some fresh food. Keep up your excellent work which your rivals wish they could do,but can only dream. My favourite deli in london.

The shop is like the world's best larder. Radio 3 is piped through the place lending it a pleasing ambience. The cafe in the ante-building is converted to a seasonal Christmas shop for a couple of months a year and the cafe moves into the deli. All of the pastry products are stunning, as are the salads. A real neighbourhood gem.

Food is nice but Wow .. expensive! No prices on the items I bought and wasn’t told the total when paying. Fair enough I didn’t ask, I just tapped my card.. but was a bit shocked when I saw the amount later - restaurant prices in a deli!

Had such a wonderful birthday celebration here for a group of 8. Food, drinks and service were exceptional! A perfect, relaxed and homely vibe, its my new go to eating out joint - and so reasonably priced! Thanks for the feed and the hospitality :) it was THE BEST.

Oasis of foodie excitement and reliability in a pandemic desert. They have everything, even those things which are in short supply everywhere else. Everything they have is fantastic quality. Service is always a knowledgeable delight. They also put together two care packages for delivery for friends. They are doing general home deliveries as well which is very helpful. It is brilliant to have such a good local shop in Hackney.

Nice neighborhood deli with a great offer - however new management is overall too young and disorganized, and anytime I buy cheese here they 'accidentally' cut a slice twice as big as requested. Not nice to feel ripped off as a returning customer.

We love Pasta Next Door. The food is always great, they always cater for me being vegan, the service is warm and friendly. My husband always loves the cheese plate at the end, yesterdays was with a yummy fig & walnut salami and the vegan chocolate sorbet is to die for. Definitely recommend

Very good food and friendly service. It is a very nice place where to have a coffee and salad and come.back home with nice italian sausages or home made pasta... Then the evenings "pasta next door" opens and it is pure heaven with a feast of Italian flavours.

Great place for coffee, house made snack foods (sausage rolls, veggie options etc). Seating inside and out with a generally quiet atmosphere and friendly staff. There's also a deli bar and I think small plates from memory. Inside there is a shop selling artisanal oils, vinegars, pesto, olives and other high quality deli items. Great alternative to nearby pubs and restaurants, many of which around that area I find to be below average and expensive.

A great collection of ham, cheese, salad and a lot of other produce I'd love to try. The deli seems to have wonderful ethos with the emphasis on using 100% renewable energy, recyclable packaging and paying their staff living wage. Every staff was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely come back often and recommend it to everyone.👌

This cafe should be great but everything takes a very long time. It serves a cafe version of the excellent Deli goods that are sold next door (eg the pies, but heated up and on a plate with some tasty salad). Downside: whilst everything tastes great, it takes a ridiculous time (even on a pretty quiet Sunday). We had to wait 15 for our coffee to arrive and 30 minutes for two pies - one of which arrived lukewarm and cold in the middle. The atmosphere and location are lovely and it's not a bad place.
