Reviews of The Larder
Over & beyond & personal customer service! Thanks so much for your dedication to look for the redcurrant jelly that I was after (even when you had other customers in the shop!). Wishing you all the best with The Larder :)
How they can have an entire shop devoted to lard is beyond me, I didn't even know people really used it that much any more and it's so cheap so the markup must be hefty go cover the rent and business rates but fair play I had a lardy cake the other day for the first time in ages and it was really good and I think I'll get another one soon because I forgot how good they are maybe I'll go to the larder when I start making it at home because I forgot how good it is especially with a tea but seriously what a good idea to have a lard shop.
Love having this lovely shop in our neighbourhood. A great mix of staples and special items. Staff is always very friendly.
Lovely range of treats on offer, however just a little bit on the expensive side (not means based, more principle).
I love coming here for funky beers and takeaway snacks or lunch
Fantastic deli, really good range of food, friendly staff.
Great pastries and breads
All l can say is FANTASTIC staff that truly want to tall. First rate produce.
Great to have these wonderful products available locally - often saved me a trip to Borough Market.

A lovely little gem. I bought some lovely bits for the coming week.
Nice little place to pick up some essentials. Great location very close to Ladywell Station. Some groceries, fruit and vegetables. I pick up my essential sauces unique to oriental cuisine.
Lovely deli with a good range of items. The beer selection is excellent and the cheeses are hard to say no to. The pastries are great for lunch too!
Great cheese selection (Harbourne blue is amazing), good wines, but not cheap, especially for the craft beers.
Lovely local shop with some great locally ground coffee
Organic and fine foods deli. Very nice artisan bread. Generally a good range of gourmet products including cheeses, quality ready meals and fresh fruit and vegetables in a small shop.
However, it is far too expensive to be anything more than an occasional treat.
Lovely delicatessen selling high quality produce. Always people shopping here, some nice foodie gifts, cakes bread, wine too.
The food/drinks quality in general is very good, you can find a variety of imported and local items that you won't find elsewhere unless you visit shops like "As nature intended".
It is slightly pricy to be in Zone 3, however, it becomes worthwhile once you notice the difference while tasting the products.
Absolutely great selection of deli produce, bought some fantastic cheeses but was tempted by lots of other things
