One stop shop for all the Indian grocery in london. Even the seasonal vegetables and fruits. Quality of some products are not that great compared to prices but it’s decent.

We are a customer of VB more than two decades. Amit Nathwani, an owner is very helpful and professional. We are glad that VB and Sons are serving our demand of Asian groceries with much competitive prices and good quality.

My wife and I usually visit the store every couple of weeks for our Indian grocery shopping. Though it's not the biggest Indian grocery store we've ever been to, it does have a pretty decent range of products and we always find what we're looking for. The staff is friendly and the prices are more than reasonable.

It is a very busy store. There was queue outside..they were maintaining the numbers inside. This store is the answer to Indian cooking. You would find spices and condiments in form and structure. There is one section with frozen foods too. The fresh vegetable section is smaller and the prices are mixed. One surprising thing was that there was an extra 5p charge for the bags to put your loose vegetables in. The staff is scattered on the shop floor and one doesn't find it difficult to ask for the location of items. One staff member also helps in packing your purchases at the till. There is quite a variety of everything; packaging size and quality. Overall, not a bad experience. Ah yes! The staff does not smile at all. (Although helpful)

Amazing place, been coming here since I was a kid. All the goodness of India squeezed into a corner of Kingsbury. Hold tight Auntie on the tills. I'd recommend the achar/pickle stall, Gujarati mukhwas and ofcourse never forgetting NW10'S finest: Hot Spicy Lemon Crisps from Kolak (36 box pack for 5.99). Great selection of dried, fresh and frozen goods. Big up/namaste

The store is quite dirty, there’s always a stale smell whenever I go. With Covid, the queue waiting times can be long, best to avoid them by going first thing in the morning. It’s cheap and good for essentials like lentils, nuts and beans. They definitely need to work on hygiene, whenever I leave VB I want to take a long, hot shower.

Great shopping place for Indians like me as they stock essential produce which isn't available in major supermarkets or corner shops. However there is a concern for hygiene as it was recently closed due to the sheer lack of hygiene and a potential risk for a huge amount of customers to fall sick. So if any fresh produce is bought, I recommend thoroughly washing it.

Covid improvements, 2 metre distance, 1 person from family allowed but they allowed couples and families of 3 still or maybe got lucky. 9am- 6.45pm Mon - sat, sun 10am - 4.45pm new opening hours. All items well stocked with no buying restrictions that I could see, prices appeared similar and not bumped up which is great. They allowed maybe 20-30 customers in on a Friday morning end of july 2020 so all was calm and safe, but they did ask customers to hurry up shopping still which is fair. 8/10 shopping experience, shame no proper vb sons website otherwise would use online shopping.

Not bad. Cashiers are also not too shabby at customer service. I will tell you this is a rarity in an Asian grocery. Lots of fresh veggies, some vegs are not particularly cheap but certain items are pretty decently priced. For the most part, I think the prices here are competitive. They have various and good quality rice and atta (wheat flour) where you can buy from the checkout counter. This shop has a great selection of Asian grocery Most of the items looks fresh. The snack and food options are incredible. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area. I personally think it's even worth a bit of a trek if you're really craving some Asian food/snacks. Bottom line, a visit to this place is mandatory.

It’s huge!! And sticks not the most convenient but the basics Asian groceries. They are not the cheapest. But if you are buying in bulk. Like for a party or an event. This is where you need to be. Not the best staff. If you can’t speak Tamil. You will have a hard time getting help from the staff. Customer service not the best. But then again. I’m glad at least they exist. For better or worse.

V B & Sons stores are dotted around London and I believe they are also in Birmingham where Indian and Asian communities reside in large numbers....but remember that they are worthwhile for shopping in by all racial types of folk...and one great plus factor to always keep in mind is the pricing of most goods sold..ALMOST ALWAYS CHEAPER....and the quality of goods sold is always good ...Indians would never buy rubbish... So the next time you might want to buy some Indian/asian food items try out VB &Sons store......ENJOY DISCOVERING something new and worthwhile....especially if you enjoy cooking on a regular basis.

A gerat place to go for Indian grocery shopping in London. It houses a great collection of differnt types of lentils to spices to other authentic ingredients used for preparing Indian cuisine. The staff is nice and friendly. Only drawback I identified was that they don't accept card payment for bill value below £10.

A mixed opinion on today's visit. Half the staff and customers either not wearing a mask or wearing it under their chin (nose and mouth completely uncovered) for Covid19 protection. But then the cashier on my till was very helpful to remind me that one of the items I bought was BOGOF and she sent a staff member to get me another one.

Was super happy to find this shop, the shop is very spacious and well displayed the products and even billing counter is nicely managed. They have North Indian savouries. Dosa and idli batter. Paneer is available how cool is that. Cashews and almond are so far the best ones I have seen in London. They have got North Indian pickles. No MTR or Maiyas though. They have got huge packs of pulses and grains of a best quality in London. They are value for money packs at the same time. The prices are so low when compared to other Indian grocery stores.

If you need to buy groceries avoid VB, instead buy from Fudco on Ealing road. Reason being the quality of VB is substandard, they buy cheap stuff from India and sell here. Hence oils, ghee, kitchen items, tinned food is OK to buy, but not peanuts, fenugreek seeds, mastard seeds, etc. I've complained many times.... The choice is yours...
