Reviews of Victoria Park Market

Victoria Park Market is a great! You can find a variety of food products and beverages. It's great to see an interest in smaller brands and manufacturers. I
also like the fact, that it's not big(size wise), as its not disturbing people who wants to enjoy walking in the park. The rubbish is monitored well as well. If you are looking for a simple pleasures , organic food, nice way to spend time outdoor on Sunday and support small businesses, it's a great place to be!

Fantastic selection of both prepared food and supplies (veg/fish/cheese/meats). I really liked the Jollof ricebox from Jollof Mamas and the cannoli from the Cannoli stand. Chacarero has really sinful Alfajores. Plus, lots of lovely dogs around!
I.
Nice food market on Sunday. You can buy food from the caravans and have a picnic in the park - fall vibes + delicious food, amazing experience! I recommend the Vietnamese food and the Filipino stalls!
B. H.
One of the best markets in East London.
The market consists of a farmers market which has fresh produce and also food trucks/stalls.
Best time to go is on a nice sunny day where you could literally spend most of the day in Victoria Park.
M. S.
Wonderful variety of food stalls and fresh ingredients. One of the best kimchi stalls in the entire country sells here, and I always make sure we are never running out.
Some good artisan bakers and great coffee. Also, set in the beautiful Victoria Park right on the canals, one can have a lunch and sit on the grass and relax. Great outing and highly recommended!

A small but lively pop up market located in Victoria Park on Sundays.
Mainly consisting of a wide variety of Stress Food outlets offering Worldwide Cusine from Nigeria to India and Meat galore to Vegan.
Great place for families and friends to meet up.
Well worth a visit in the very nice Victoria Park.
D. B.
I love it here. The number of stalls varies from week to week but there’s always a great selection of amazing food and produce to buy. It can be quite busy, but I’m the summer it makes for a great atmosphere.
T. A.
A lovely place to walk anycday but Sunday mornings are special. You have all the independent food stalls and food trucks plotted and spread out. Its a busy park, lively, people running, skating, cycling and families just having a wonderful time.
D. L.
Food and fresh products market on Sundays. Lots of food trucks with a nice variety, from Indian to a NYC rubben. The farmers market got a nice selections of bakeries, cheeses and lots of others things, such as chicken broth and beer. The park is great, definelty worth your Sunday!

Realy nice park full of life. So much to do at the park with kids or friends just relax or go for a picnic bike ride

A fabulous once a week market in the heart of Victoria park, 10am until 4pm every Sunday.
Too much to list, but natural fresh goods and produce to suit everyone, even a stall for our four legged friends, wonderful bread, cheese, fruit & veg, meat, mushrooms wines and gins.
Great street food available, definitely worth a visit.
R. D.
Perfect for a lazy Sunday, amazing food on sale with a huge variety to meet anyone's needs. If you in East London it's high worth a visit.
A. T.
Good selection of food and veg. Overpriced although you do begin to expect it now at these sort of markets. Great location
K. T.
Pleasant market located in an amazing park. Mostly made up with ready to eat food but some fresh ingredients stalls too selling things like veggies and mushrooms. Market can get very busy and queues form at many stalls.
Might struggle to find somewhere to sit besides the ground. Lack of rubbish bins to deal with the increase in rubbish seems oddly poorly planned for. There are public toilets in this park near by.
T. S.
Fantastic food market! Come hungry, you will surely find something you like 😀
B. O.
Great food market that is getting bigger and bigger, with hot food trucks on the curved footpath, not just the core original section. So many choices, with something for virtually anyone. Good that the more grocery oriented stalls are still present too.
K. N.
A small food market but so vibrant. Both side of the road is lined with stalls selling artisanal produce while street food vendors tempt you with the enticing aromas off food from burgers to steak with chips. Unlike most places, the market is situated Victoria Park itself which means there's copious space to tuck into food. Victoria Park is in itself a beautiful park to stroll and relax in. Highly recommend a visit to this Sunday market in East London particularly in the spring and summer months.
P. K. (.
Best place to spend some quality time with family. 2 playgrounds, lots of space for little fella to run around. Easy to park. What else you need from a park?
J. R.
A really great mix of different and high quality street food - one of the best in London. And set in Victoria Park with such great surroundings - a fab day out.
J. H.
Decent markets with really good food options. My only gripe is that all the popular food and drink vendors are in the same area, meaning a bottle neck and a bit difficult to navigate, especially with a toddler in a pram. Once you're done at the markets Victoria Park is well worth a wander.
b. a.
Great day at the park with various food vendors and specialist food products. A good day out in the summer. Would suggest you take your own beverages as these are limited or pretty expensive (small bottle of water costing £2-£3).
M. H.
Brilliant. The range of food was amazing. Loved it all. Such an exciting place.
L. S.
One of the best markets in London, the food option are amazing you can find almost whatever food you fancy, from sum dum to cheese sandwiches, all food trucks offers delicious food and friendly service. There is other amazing food products that you can buy to consume at home like, artisans bread, cheese, olives, fish vegetables and fruits. The market really worth a visit.
P. R.
Lovely market with lots of choices for food to meet a lot of different dietary requirements. All the stalls are small businesses and the people are friendly. Victoria Park is a beautiful park as well and also has toilets. Great place to go on own or with friends and family
B. T.
Found a great mushroom stall, very friendly owner who chats passionately about mushroom 🍄

Bustling, lively market and one of my favourite places for Sunday lunch. The market is open on Sundays only! With its official hours being 10 am - 3 pm. However, some vendors won't be serving food till 11 am and may stay all the way till 5pm! Which is worth noting [ You're welcome by the way 😉 ]. The market is full of a huge variety of street vendors, where you can grab anything from Fresh Farm Goods to Mac N Cheese and even Malaysian Karipap. Lunch and a drink costs about £9 - £12 depending on what you get but prices do remain pretty consistent amongst the different vendors.
k. A.
Great place to visit with the family where you can buy some great food and produce by small independent traders. Recommended
J.
Great market for trying different cuisines all in one place.

If you are the type to enjoy variety in cuisine and good tasty dishes, bring your appetite and some loose fitting sweatpants. Your eyes will be just as full as your belly. Some really nice food of good quality, drinks and treats to take home too.
M. R.
Nice farmers style market. A little bit expensive, but good produce.
J. H.

BEST MARKET IVE BEEN TO IN LONDON: EXCELLENT SELECTION OF FOOD AND LOVELY VIEWS
A. C.
This market has such a great vibe. Grateful I was able to attend during my last Sunday in London. So so so many amazing food options. Highly recommend!
S. B.
Nice atmosphere and friendly vendors. Prices are a bit high, however the quality is great 👍
S. K.
Plenty of variety at a reasonable price. Indian, Thai, Greek and Caribbean stalls full of tasty food.
m. l.
Such a well kept haven of beauty. The variety of different types of walk is amazing. The only shame is the speed of cyclists and those that believe rubbish evaporates if they leave it behind. Don't let that put you off though it is stunning with two different eateries and children's areas, two lakes and a sports area
K. C.
Great variety of produce, friendly stallholders, a great way to spend an hour or so on a Sunday.
S. B.
Nice atmosphere and friendly vendors. Prices are a bit high, however the quality is great 👍
M. R.
Nice farmers style market. A little bit expensive, but good produce.
S. K.
Plenty of variety at a reasonable price. Indian, Thai, Greek and Caribbean stalls full of tasty food.
m. l.
Ideal an outdoor market during the pandemic- one way system, feels safe enough. Great stalls, friendly people and kinda local produce. Mainly pay by card for safety..... and paying one does, as in not cheap and not accessible finacially for everyone.
G. M.
Excellent Market, great choice, lovely atmosphere in London's best park. I went to Big V who do Vegan burgers and they were top notch.
M. H.
Always love coming here on Sunday:) picking up some nice fresh mushrooms and devouring a nice lunch on the grass from all those food vendors :)
M. H.
The best park in the world and actually this the biggest public park in the world.
Sunday Market is just amazing we love spend time in the park having coffee and all kind of street food, fresh garden vegistables, fruits, olive, honey.
Very clean place with safety distance and manage by tower hamlets clean team.
5* is even less for this amazing place. East London is best because of Victoria Park.
R.
SOOO many good food stands to choose from. Great to pick up good foods then sit in the park and eat.
T. H.
Great quality produce. Lovely cheese. Proper biltong vege to die for
S. B.
Lovely park. I was expecting more stalls selling fruit and vegetable. Great selection to grab a byte to eat but pricey for a food market.

BEST MARKET IVE BEEN TO IN LONDON: EXCELLENT SELECTION OF FOOD AND LOVELY VIEWS
V. K.
Great market! I always buy my weekly veg shop from the organic vegetable stall. There's also a great stall with fresh smoothies and macaroons.
E. T.
Victoria Park the best 👌 parkis do a marvellous job by keeping it nice and clean.
r. b.
I love the market and the whole atmosphere of the park it can be very expensive would be nice to see a bit more affordable for a weekly Sunday shop but it's not that kind of market although their is 1 good veg stall their
S. S.
Fantastic place! Lovely food. Everyone can find something for yourself (for really small money) 😉
G. W.
Fun Sunday food market with quality vendors.
M. W.
Just what Victoria Park needed - makes a picnic in the park so much easier. Defiantly the best park in London.
H. S.
Place and stalls are great, very kind of artisan and un commercial feel. So much better than spending a Sunday in a shopping mall. Only slight issue with the prices as they are slightly inflated sadly, otherwise a great place to be on a Sunday.
T. V. D.
It's very local... Nice produce .. but some crazy pricing...
R. M.
Loads of food stalls and food trucks
C. P.
Very cute little food market. The salad and feta and spinach pie were amazing!
R. C.
I love this place and go most every weekend. Lovely setting in the park which is good for a wander regardless of the season and a hungover Sunday stroll is normally just the ticket through the myriad food stalls, chock full of food to eat there or take home and prepare yourself later. Crepes, Biltong and fresh pasta are highlights, as is the (expanded from a dude with a bike to a mobile caravan type pub) beer stall.
Nice place to while away a couple hours with friends or loved ones and leave well and truly full and content.
D. H.
Love the Oysters at the fish stall. Breakfast of champions!! 🦪
L. G.
Lovely food market. Saw some gorgeous aubergine and other veg. Delicious baked goods, sweet and savoury options.
B. G.
Lovely food options but everything is very expensive. Like £7 or more for a very small portion.
L. T.
A good market. Worth a visit.
M. A.
Love this market, really nice range of goods for sale. Have tried the olive stall, seafood stall, and the donut. All have been fantastic
L. T.
The market has a great selection of streetfood and produce.
Top pics for Streetfood are crosstown for donuts, a pie party for their everything, da ja streetfood for fried chicken, eat lah for malaysia food and yaayyaay for thai food and kokalti for their wraps. 5 stars for food.
We also had 2 lads afghan food and it was awful, the chicken was raw, the bread was burnt and the staff were extremely rude. Do not eat here. Very unhappy. It spoilt our day. 2 stars taken away because of this.
B. S.
Great food trucks with a ‘world’ of different flavours a good farmers market and on a sunny day perfect for a picknic!
S. C.
Great fun & delicious food & drink....if you don't mind crowds!!
T. H.
Freshly made succulent foood. Bon appetite!!
D. T.
Love this market. It offers food only, from fresh veggies, milk, eggs, fish and meat to all kind of fresh to made coffee, juices and food. There is one stall with dog-treats. I live twenty minutes from it and occasionally go there. The people have always been friendly and food/drinks were always good.
S. A.
Variety of food stalls(some halal). Organic fruit and veg stalls
H. B.
Victoria Park Market is like a sliver of Borough Market snuggled within the heart of Victoria Park that opens every Sunday. Although still quite small it has a wide and varied selection of culinary treats to satisfy meat eaters, veggies, and vegans. As one would expect from an urban food market various cuisines of the world are well represented: Portugal, Ghana, India, and the Caribbean, with some British favourites and more, are represented. Benches are dotted around on the sides for a sit down eat, but most grab and go to either take home, or enjoy their food in the pleasant park environment. The market is well worth a visit on a Sunday for those that like the idea of a bite to eat combined with a nice walk in the park.
S. P.
Great selection of street food and groceries, very friendly staff, lovely day trip on a weekend
K. A.
Brilliant street food market in Victoria Park. From African to Malaysian, there's so much to choose as well as take home speciality food produce
J. A.
I am usually not a fan of street markets; mostly because there's too many stalls selling burgers. Victoria Street market has a very well balanced selection of vendors and however they select their vendors, they're doing a fine job. I recommend the two bakery stalls.
P.
Amazing family day out. Lovely to see people smiling again. Last time I was here probably when I was a little girl and that was ..years ago. Memories .
M. R.
Great market, not only great street food d to eat on the spot but plenty of fresh fruit and veg, excellent breads and sweet treats
Perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon year round + so pleased they’re staying open through lockdown
T. H.
Such a lovely food market, packed with massively varied street food options, coffee, beer, sweet treats and veg stalls. It attracts a whole load of the local residents from the surrounding residential area and you can combine it with a Sunday stroll around the park too.
S. F.
Absolutely love Victoria Park Market. I come along every Sunday. The food is amazing. Only issue is finding somewhere to sit to eat after you've got your food
M. A.
Worth a walk through on a Sunday. We bought some nice cake pieces from a stall at the further end (slices of Nutella chocolate cake/peach cake/pear cake). Delicious and peculiar cake flavours that made for delicious deserts later that day. Will go back to try the other food stalls.
D. S.
Nice picnic spot to bring your loved ones, dogs and spend some quality time
C. I.
You can find everything here and for good prices!
B. B.
Really nice farmers market in a lovely park. Get some lunch and sit in the park. Perfect on a sunny day.
K. 1.
My go to local Sunday food market. I always enjoy coming here. Good selection of hot and cold food. Think artisan type produce. It's a great place to pick up fresh food that you won't find in a supermarket. Some of the cakes are divine!
E. H.
Good food stalls both for shopping and eating !
S. P. F.
Love the market, but they should improve the toilet situation. The loos are far away and there's not enough, we had to queue for over half an hour!
D. H.
Fantastic park, lots to do for all the family. Excellent stalls and food.
T. S.
Katsu wraps awesome, as was the Oat iced Chai , got some great donuts to have later with a coffee.
J. P.
Think Broadway Market on a Sunday, only with more of a Borough Market vibe. Perfect complement to nearby Columbia Road Flower Market.
C. M.
Lovely food and drink in one of London's best parks
D. K.
Very nice foods, this week Gyoza Guys were there, so tasty!
A. W.
Fabulous location. Great variety. Would like more possibility of cash payment for though
A. N.
Best market in London if you ask me! It's such a nice little community, you would never feel like you're in the big city here, such a nice escape... Good variety of food, brilliant options for veggetiarians and vegans. If you're in the area on Sundays you have to come!
C. J.
Great food and deli market! A little on the pricey side but expected. Vegan food options are solid. We’ve had a vegan galette and vegan biriani, and often get our week’s veg from the couple of grocers.
G. G.
Lovely artisan selection of food from all over the world !!
D. G.
Great street food market but social distancing a little lax
T. B.
The market is open on Sundays between 10 and 4 pm, though some sellers would run out of the stock by 3 pm already. On nice days expect a queue to all food stalls, 15 minutes wait is not unusual. Otherwise pretty standard vegetables, meat and dairy offering, with a couple of odd frre-from stalls
V. K. N.
Beautiful market, one of my favorites in London. A little bit pricey but the quality of the food is really good.
The nice vibe and good surroundings definitely worth the visit.
I would recommend this park as a Sunday plan.
s. n.
Friendly market that runs every Sunday until 4 PM. Expect a selection of food stalls that ranges from burgers to Northen Thai food. They also have fresh fruit and vegetable and deli stalls. A pretty small market but definitely worth a visit once in a while as it is situated in one of the most beautiful parks in London.
D. D.
This is a great market, if overpriced. £9 for a brisket sandwich... Bless. But, hey, the market is a real foodie market, the ingredients are very high quality, and you're in a beautiful park. Still, £9 for a brisket sandwich... you lose one star off your review for that Victoria Park Market.
A. P.
Love, love, love this market! A relatively new one, it benefits from the gorgeous location and from having the best variety of stalls. As a coeliac, I was spoiled for choice, which was such a lovely surprise. There are plenty of cooked food stalls, with vegan dishes, chickpea pancakes, burgers and pulled pork amongst the few that come to mine. In winter there was both mulled wine and cider, so we would get a drink and food, and listen to the life music they often have on.
In addition there's loads of cake options, including GF, Vegan and refined sugar free. They have some produce too, all top quality.
T. V.
Farmer's market on Sunday's. Mix of artisan producers, foodstands, beer, coffee. Definitely some I don't see on the average market. Nice atmosphere to spend your Sunday morning, all year round.
Y. S.
Lovely Sunday Market at Victoria Park.
One of our highlights was the Philly Cheese steak at tribeca deli. Definitely a recommended family outing
R. R.
A great selection of organic / sustainable agriculture veggies and fruits, and other produces, cheeses, fresh and cold cut meats, as well as take out food stands. Perfect for your WE market or if you want to picnic at the beautiful Victoria Park
a.
A really good food and drink market. Not very big but has a lot of choice. Food you can eat there and then, or to take home, fresh veg, cakes, wine, sauces etc etc.
K.
Small Sunday market, Artisan market stalls..food bit pricey though.. but great Victoria park fun and wonderful day out!
S. R.
If you feel a breath of fresh air is what you need to re-energise followed by some street food, head to Victoria park on Sundays. The market has a variety of food stalls, fresh produce and a selection of cold and hot drinks. It is a big park so plenty of opportunities to burn the calories, watch the ducks chilling in the lake and of course you have earned another little snack 😁
T. H. G.
Lovely food market on Sundays with regular and guest traders. Not much seating but on a nice day can sit on the grass and have a picnic. Free parking close by on Sundays too
J. W.
Great little collection of artisan food stalls. Almost cashless which is good when out with just your phone dog walking in the park. Not 5 stars because needs a coffee stall!
a. m.
Nice place, nice street food, the grilled meat is a must, awesome park to run, play around
P. A.
Great Sunday market in the heart of Victoria park, perfect on sunny days and a paradise for watching dogs! Also some of the best London street food, personal favourite-Hanoi Kitchen bun noodle pot with garlic and lime chicken 👌🏻
C. W.
I love this place, wish I could go every Sunday. The atmosphere was buzzing, lots of options, even many vegan ones! Everyone was very friendly and there was toooooo much choice! Love it!
C. I.
Great food trucks.
v. b.
Still small market but really good. After a stroll through park well worth it to tuck into one of the juicy and delicious options of food here. Great for vegans too. 😋 😋 😋
M. F.
Beautiful park with so much to do for the kids and adults alike.
I. A.
Super nice place. Good food and nice location.
J. J.
Excellent market with great choice of foods for grownups. Someone would make a killing doing a kids option though...!!! Great variety of cuisines. Plenty of bins too.
H. p.
Absolutely loved it !! So many vegan options 🥰😍 definitely worth a try !!! A very cute little market that makes you forget that you actually are in the middle of a very big and busy city !!
P. B.
Just full of yummy things!
T. K.
Lovely food market, but very expensive. Super healthy, organic, ethical etc, but don't expect to get much change for a tenner for a snack. Bit frustrating if you are hungry and skint
L. H.
A nice selection of stalls offering all kinds of street food and produce. A lot of the food is a bit overpriced and the place has a very hipster vibe overall, but nice for a little stroll on a Saturday.
R. J.
I like the idea of all the different food stalls. But it's so busy that I ended up to pick the food from the stall with the shortest queue rather than the food I really wanted.
H.
Love the availability of choice from farmers markets to street food vendors .... A great way to spend an afternoon with friends, family etc. Cycling and dog friendly!
J. F.
Great market.Bought some lovely fresh produce from meat, vegetables, fresh organic treats for our dog and beautiful Bangladeshi street meal.Delicious.Can't wait to go back.
K. B.
Wide selection of food. If you enjoy a cake with no sugar or a steak with no meat this is the place for you. Also sells organic (probably vegan) dog treats
J. D.
Lovely open market with many good quality food stalls
G. 0.
An amazingly beautiful market in a beautiful park, that is Victoria. Great choice of foods to eat. Savoury, sweets and chocolates. Well worth a look. Just up from the lake and fountains.
L. O. R.
Love this market. I have come every Sunday for the past 6 weeks; would highly recommend! Brilliant atmosphere and lovely coffee, what more could you ask for!
J. L.
I visited with my girlfriend and we both loved the market. I had Sri-Lankan kottu and and she had japanese gyoza dumplings. Both of them were delicious! We could not try everything we wanted to but we are definitely gonna come back.
H. T.
Buzzy, busy market with a farmer's market, loads of vegan produce and a street food section. You can also get kombucha, English wine and handmade chocolates and find a cheesemonger, fishmonger and butcher.
Street food favourites are the Vietnamese bun bowls, Sri Lankan kottu and vegan cakes.
R. B.
Most enjoyable. Good choice of food at a fair price.
R. M. T.
Nice setting in the park - good mix of ready to eat food and market style ingredients for home cooking - very hip/organic & slightly on the pricy side in my opinion
D. L.
Small, friendly local produce market (Sundays only). Plenty of choice for vegans, if that's your thing, and plenty for non-vegans too.
K. P.
Super expensive and super crowded, but good selection of stalls - coffee, bar, sweets, hot food, veggies, fishes, meat, savoury, cakes.
S. H.
Great selection of food, lots of people enjoying the sun
I. D.
Good choice of foods on offer, nice for the walk and produce
B. K.
Nice cozy market for lunch
L. W.
A lot busier and more vibrant these days. Nice to have seen it grow and a great place for fresh produce and food vans. The only one like it locally!
a. c.
A lot of good food here, great spot for a sunday
I. L.
Great variety of food, but it can get very busy. Surprising that not all vendors accept card but the majority do seem to.
D. L.
Lovely park, good to see it used in such a great way
D. J.
Love this market!! Everything you could possiblly want is here from homemade kimchi to Spanish cheese/cured meat, freshly baked bread to scallops!!
A. M.
Great choice of stalls, all providing good food, weather it be street food or fresh vegetables! Great location to visit on a sunny day
S. B.
Lots of lovely food stalls. Did get very busy as it was a sunny winter's day
L. H. C.
Beautiful green spot among council houses, busy roads and concrete jungles. Charming, refreshing and calming. It also has a lovely street market on weekends
G. M.
Victoria Park is amazing!!! Myself and my family went there to buy a Christmas tree. Then we went to the food market that is open on a Sunday and had something to eat - amazing!!!
C. S. L.
Kathi roll stall . Had Kathi roll but it was not good . Stale food. We had Thai food after that and it was really yummy
S. A.
Went here for the Sunday street food market. Great selection of food. Queues were long at popular stalls but great vibe for a Sunday.
S. D.
I love this little market. Plenty of freshly cooked food, some of which is specifically vegan. Great fresh produce too.
i. s.
lot of farmer organic product, sugar free, gluten free and vegan option for pastry and burger...I really love this market and the park is great too!
N. G.
Love these open air markets. Can stroll through it being spacious.
Parking might be up the road a bit but it's what you make it.
G. C.
Small but very cute market with plenty of interesting local options.
L. D.
Amazing produce and choices of food all traders are friendly and could happily speak for hours about there produce and what they do been here a few times and not had anything i dislike.
M. L.
Small market with wide range of good quality food, square mile coffee. Can pay by card or in cash. 10 am - 4 pm.
S.
I use to love this place, recently a lot of the stalls have gone card only and will not accept cash no matter how much you ask. Why should people be forced to pay by card.
v. p.
Bit pricey market, but has some nice stalls. Fishmonger is my favorite.
R. B.
Cute market. Best early morning. Pack and chowder are the best stall. My dogs fave!
A. B.
Great way to spend a Sunday
S. A.
really good food especially low carb cakes and fresh locally growth organic product, I love it after a run in Victoria Park .

Great food market with plenty of choices. As well as cooked food stalls there are stalls selling fresh organic produce.

A great selection of food stalls. Good amount of vegetarian and vegan options as well.
J. L.
Lovely park for walks and a really cool market every Sunday morning ..

Great range of foods. Quieter than your typical market, which is nice for a Sunday morning!
R. F.
International food stalls and great selection of different kinds of food

Great option of stalls available to checkout and try on a Sunday walk. Loved the Beef Burguignon Burger.

(Translated) The food market is relatively short and peaceful, it is very pleasant to take food and sit on the lawn in the park. Take advantage of the visit to the market for a short walk to Victoria Park and its small lake. Also if you are already in the area, not far away there is a stunning flower market on Sunday, which you should not have missed!
