Waitrose is located next to Finchley Road underground station. It's one of their well stocked stores which has that special touch of personal service you don't tend to find often in today's World. Customer service excellence, quality and variety of produce is up there with the very best. It's never too busy and it's always a pleasure to shop there.

Love the selection and choices available in this branch! Currently enjoying Waitrose No 1 brand, the Mexican Yucatan Honey. So delicious and fruity tasting. Pair it up with Waitrose Greek style yoghurt, nuts and fruit.

Have been to this store occasionally and it is well presented and has all the things I'm looking for. The sandwich range is excellent and the fresh fruits & Veg are fab.👍 The only criticism is there prices are very high and would not recommend you fo a very big shop as it's not really value for money. There are many competitors out there that can really give you value for your money.(Asda) being one of them! Come on Waitrose and bring your prices down! Remember 'Were all living in difficult times?👍

Issue with out of stock items in the store, specific things I needed which I've bought previously here, and zero assistance from support team over social media, not even bothering to reply. Edit: they did reply eventually, and whilst they couldn't be sure about the item I needed, I was able to buy it via home delivery so perhaps it was restocked on the day of my delivery.

It is such a pity the separate quick check till is not available any more. It it used to be very convenient to scan as you go through the shop and to skip the line in the end.

It's true that Waitrose can be more expensive than other major supermarkets. However, the quality of its products is high and there is a good variety of pretty much everything. In the specific one I love the fresh-ready to eat sushi 🍣 and relevant kitchen.

Such a lovely place to shop, fresh meat at the butchers counter and an amazing selection of food. My only criticism would be that they pack a lot in to a relatively small space so you're always dodging people when you shop there. On reflection, the toiletries section is vast and it hardly has any people there. Would be good to space out the food and halve that section to allow for a better shopping experience.

Excellent Waitrose, very good underground parking and location. Very large store for all your food shopping needs. I went on a Tuesday 16th Feb 2021 and the parking was free, the barriers were up. Amazing selection of fresh deli foods, rotisserie, fresh fish, meat and veg. Freshly baked bakery were excellent also. Staff very helpful and friendly as always a good visit.

Absolutely fantastic Waitrose as they have everything you could possibly need. Only concern would be the amount of space round the store is limited so social distancing can be difficult. It is also directly outside of Finchley Road station & a large bus stop so can easily be accessed even if you live a little further away.

Amazing customer service called the store as my friend left her walking stick in store told the lady over the phone that I will pick up outside as I will be walking my dogs in the same time. Excellent local supermarket housed inside an iconic store front. Really pleased to be able to use this Waitrose on a regular basis. Excellent layout and friendly efficient staff, the dedicated onsite car park is tricky to use but makes all the difference. Well stocked store with so much variety and beautiful well presented food. It's not as immaculately clean as it could be and we prefer Brent Cross but it's nice to see another store with a similar range and quality. They handled a situation very well with a rude security man who seemed to be having a bad day and behaved very unprofessionally to my husband and I and then had the temerity to lie and report us. It could have been an unpleasant incident but the manager and another member of staff handled it very well.

Nice Waitrose. Large and so lots of lines. Helpful and lovely staff members. Beware of car park though - very tight squeeze to get in and out. Next door to tube and good range of buses. During Covid you have to enter and leave through same way which is a little odd.

Not in my area; a stray visit. Much larger supermarket than I am used to. Good range of products in a surreal order - some extremely strange combinations of product sections. Managed to get hopelessly lost twice and had to ask to find the tills. Thoughtful staff when giving directions!

As a local supermarket there is really little to complain about here. Fresh meat and fish counter. Even a meat ageing fridge. Good quality produce. Not too posh so you can use it as a weekly shop. Regular price drop offers. Very polite and helpful staff. My only gripe is there is too much packaging around the fruit and veg, but that’s slowly getting better.

This Waitrose is absolutely great shopping experience. Like most if not all Waitroses shops are well run and overall they offer excellent range of good quality products and customer service. They have excellent wine offers and they bring amazing Spanish Chorizo Goikoa and super Gazpacho Alvalle, that you must buy. They have a fresh well managed fish and meat counter, plus good range of cheese , puddings and cakes and great bakery. Don't forget to check their Sushi Bar counter: Fresh made Every Day. Enjoy !

My nearest Waitrose, and what a treat! Seriously, it reminds you what supermarkets should be about. The butcher is great, the fishmonger is splendid, the deli is wonderful, the booze selection is huge, there's all the grocery in the world. And it's opposite Finchley Road tube, with a dedicated car park in the basement. Now and again, despite everything, I know why living in London is perfect.

Quality food store part of the John Lewis is Partnership. Consistent good service, friendly staff. Excellent diversity of foods, nice and fresh vegetables and fruit. Now offering savings on selected items especially fresh juices. Good quality fish and helpful staff.

Regularly running low / not properly restocked on basics like small format whole milk and fresh bread - I can't count the times I went shopping at 6pm on a weekday and my choice was severely restricted. And it's not even rocket science - refill shelves that have run out of goods first and take care of shelves that still have some goods on later. Cashiers in charge of self service tills could be a bit more proactive and not wait for customers to chase them but come over and help when they see a blinking light. Lucky for this Waitrose they are the only decent supermarket in a 2-mile radius otherwise I think I would choose to go somewhere else.

Waitrose is my favourite grocery store. This branch sometimes has long queues in the basket checkout as they will only usually have 1-2 people at the tills. One of the staff is a bit rude and she sometimes kinda chucks stuff across the scanner onto the packing area then just holds out her hand for the payment without saying how much it is so I have to look at the screen to see how much I need to pay. I've gotten used to her attitude but I don't believe I should be used to this.

Another review for Waitrose!. I keep going back. That should tell you enough. I have been coming here for over 30 years and in more recent times, it has doubled the size of the store. It has everything you could need, even if you don't know you need it! The staff are amazing and free parking is available underneath the shop.

As a premium supermarket, they’ve been great for customer service, but they are completely missing the move to people wanting reduced waste and plastic. Why is it impossible to get a cucumber not wrapped in plastic? Even the organic produce is almost exclusively wrapped in plastic. They have great loose red peppers-well done! I’ve been turning to online groceries from companies that are capturing this change in preferences, but it seems ridiculous that a service that has to personally deliver would be the lowest-waste route to go. (Edit: updating to 4 stars because they have started having compostable bags for bulk vegetables. Still need more vegetables to be available that way)
