I came here today because the shower gels, hand soaps and eggs were sold out elsewhere. Lol. Yet this store is the place for good fresh cakes, chocolates and fruits. The cafe is nice except you can't take purchases from the shop part to eat there. You have to order from the menu. Now that the 1-free tea is available to shoppers with a Waitrose card and your own cup, I don't pass by a Waitrose just to get the free hot beverage. Always nice to pass by though.

Well stocked Waitrose on the ground floor of the Southside shopping centre with plenty of convenient parking space right outside the door. There are checkouts close to the car park and also close to the shops. Don't forget to get your parking swiped at the counter.

I came into the store unfamiliar of the layout and i asked you for help in where i might locate the items i wanted to buy. Three separate times i asked you for your help and you not only walked me to what i wanted, But the warmth , willingness, and patience you demonstrated towards me was was very touching, each 3 times i asked for your help i was met with the warmest of smiles. You were my Waitrose angel that morning. I have never experienced such genuinely EXCELLENT customer service. You made my day. You are an absolute credit to yourself and in turn a great asset to Waitrose i really hope they know how lucky they are to have such a person like you representing them and what a credit you are. Location is great, can get a bit messy when busy, but otherwise good selection and staff.

Big, spacious, well organised store. Huge selection of different products. This store represent quality and reliability. Also, the staff was really kind and helpful at the checkout, assisted & advised. Popped in during the week around noon when the store was almost "empty" (no customers) but on weekends and peak times it can be extremely busy. Recommended.

Excellent service. It seems they have invested into a lot of young, energetic members of staff willing to go the extra mile. Very clean store with great customer service and a variety of products. I get to have a free hot drink with my waitrose card too. Big up the black guy that helped me get a trolley out yesterday, forgot his name but was a cool guy.

Waitrose delivers excellent food but sometimes experience is let down by the systems they used to go shopping: their self scanning scanners are still way out of date. Most of them don’t work and it makes for a very difficult experience when you get to the till and they want to rescan your entire shop. It's ridiculous that Waitrose inflicts this out of date tech on us when we see really good examples at Tesco’s and Sainsbury's. I love using a Zapper but this needs to work or it's unfair to the customers. In the parking garage the bins are overflowing it dirty. We need to accept change and electric cars are the new norm so please install at least 8x changing points in the car park. (not supplied by #SourceLondon who cost more than Petrol)

I have generally noticed in the past few days a narrower selection of foods when shopping in supermarkets in London. Not sure what this is down to but it seems like the variety of vegs and meats has decreased.bin this branch have noticed less variety of beef cuts and vegs. Prices seem to have gone up but there were quite a few reduced to be consumed on the day.

Normally shopping at Waitrose makes me happy but for some reason this store doesn't. The overall layout is counterintuitive and some of the fridges need replacing. Checkout experience can be frustrating at times. Please stop stocking peach ice tea. No one buys this stuff.

Came into waitrose looking for a single face mask. Justin who helped me to find a mask was really lovely because when he showed me the face masks they were in a packet as I only needed a single one. He then went and got a single one behind one of the desks. Thank you for your help.

It's in Southside shopping centre with plenty of other shops. Note: Debenhams has closed now. Good parking rates as well. Also it's just had a large ' kiddies space' put in which is a largish play area on the ground floor. That's all I can think of.

This Waitrose has a terrible and confusing layout. Ever since they renovated this supermarket and put in a cafe, it has destroyed the nice flow and it is not easy to find the products. There is also no counter for "baskets only" so if you have a small shop then you will end up doing the self check out or you will wait for ages. They also do not have a lot of choice within a category.

It can be slightly confusing to navigate this branch of Waitrose, in that the layout might not quite be what you'd expect. I had an uneasy sense of being somewhat disoriented the first couple of times. I suspect this is due to the fact that there are two main entrances: one facing the Southside shipping centre, and the other leading to the car park. It can be and feel quite busy at times. But otherwise, there's generally a good selection with decent fish and meat counters as you'd expect from Waitrose.

I love popping into waitrose couldn't do my full weekly shop there (would love to guess I will have to ask my boss for a raise🤣) they do a great steak and kidney pie and their cupcakes are to die for staff great and helpful.

Waitrose is well known as being one of the highly quality supermarket chains in the UK. Offering a great selection of groceries. Often find cheaper prices in nearby Sainsbury's. Get a free coffee everyday with a Waitrose card. New Cafe has just opened instore and has plenty of seating. Free WiFi works OK, but does require getting through an overly complicated gateway.
