Reviews of Wing Yip Superstore Cricklewood
S. S.
Good selection of oriental food and fresh seafood.
Bubble tea is new and has a good selection of flavours, however always out of stock.
Restaurant next door to wing yip.
K. B.
A Fantastic day out! Lovely food from the cafe, lots of interesting ingredients for a foodie like myself. On top of that, there were some good deals to be had which I have never seen in other shops.
P. E.
Very nice Staff kind and helpfull.
Prepare yourself for long wait.
Parking. Free very busy
Service at the checkout. Fast
Large stock and good quality products.
Highly recommend

One of the best Asian supermarkets.
The staff are very welcoming, friendly, competent and with a good sense of humour. Especially Alan, great guy!
A. H.
Great selection of Chinese and some Southeast Asian (Thai, Vietnamese) food products, as well as fresh fish and produce. However, a very disappointing selection of Japanese, Filipino, and Korean foods :(.
A. B.
A great selection of asian ingredients, good parking for cars, not so much for bicycles unfortunately. The staff are polite and friendly as well. They also have covid rules in place which is great.
C. Y.
Great selection of all things Asian... Found yam bean and silken taufu and even pre mix sauce for Ma Po taufu..managed to get the condiments and vegetables to make a truly Asian dinner...😋😋 Kung pow chicken, ju hu chai wrap, gulai prawn with pineapple, soya silken taufu and spinach egg drop soup.
p. h.
Even restaurants come here to get their provisions. In terms of varieties, freshness, pricing for Chinese and oriental groceries, this is it. Spacious, friendly and efficient staff make shopping easy and relaxing.
D. j.
Liked the hot food, great bakery! Good looking fresh fish and produce, with so much choice on everything and great frozen section, I've been to a few places and this is definitely the biggest selection and very popular
M. D.
Easy to find. Ample parking on a Wednesday daytime. Great selection and great prices. Lots of Chinese, Thai and Japanese options. Meat and seafood deli inside too. Vegetable selection is low but it's fine since they stock vegetables.not readily available in a usual supermarket. There's also a section for cookware so this store fulfills all my needs. Overall a great experience.
V. B.
The superstore is a large one. There are only trolleys available and no baskets for small shops. Everything seems to be stocked in random isles so you literally have to go through each isle to look for the items you are after.
Any other superstore you would walk in, to make life easier, you would just ask a member of staff literally. However, in this store it was impossible to find anyone on the shop floor.
The superstore has a car park with plenty of spaces.
C. E.
Staff are nice, friendly and polite. Loads of variety of East Asian goods could be found here in a fair price. No wonder why they could stood here for a very long time and with a good reputation
W. I.
I accidentally knew this store from my friend and just went there yesterday. Very good items, cheap and reasonable prices. It's good for big family or restaurant.
R. C.
7 days a week Asian Supermarket Paradise.
Huge selection of frozen delights. Fish, shellfish, dim sum, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, Philippine and etcetera specialities.
Fresh fish, shellfish, crabs, lobsters and crustaceans. Prawns in all sizes from 50 to a kilo up to huge Tiger Prawns weighing 250g each (4 per kilo).
Chicken, pork, beef both fresh and frozen. Cuts and sizes often not seen in Western supermarkets.
Fruits, vegetables, young coconuts. Frankly the list of Asian delights and staples is endless.
Also hardware, woks, rice cookers. Just an endless journey of discovery down each aisle. Even the seasoned shopper will spend an hour navigating their preferred needs. So allow for more.
Bulk buying is common - presumably restauranteurs. 10 kilo boxes of chicken breast fillets our particular favourite.
But your first visit to Wing Yip is an experience to relish. The choice is staggering. The quality is high. The prices are competitive. Ranging from essentials to luxuries. Highly prized by Asian restaurants, Asian families and lovers of Asian food.
We visit monthly and limit our purchases to suit the remaining space in our freezer. But, to be honest, I think we'll just have to get a bigger freezer.
C. L.
For a Chinese national, this may be the definitive Asian foodstore for all your supermarket needs.
C. S.
Great selection of goods although I did not exactly find some chinese preserved sweets that I was hoping to find and wonton wrappers.
K. L.
Love their 2 restaurants: one serves dim sum (more of a sit down posher place) and the other is a cafe which sells individual dishes like roast duck or pork on rice as well and many more including Lasksa. Supermarket is also pretty amazing with a wide choice of Oriental foods. So good!
n. a. d.
Lots of Chinese, Japanese and Korean food and drinks. Huge supermarket with a takeaway and also a restaurant to dine in. I highly recommend you to pay it a visit, either for some shopping or to have a meal, or maybe why not both ;) ? 😋
S. C.
Very nice. Great place for Chinese food. The cafe is great value and good food, good portions as well
A. B.
Great place for all Chinese groceries - fresh, frozen, vegetables, meats, seafood, store cupboard. You'll find it all at Wing Yip.
K. F.
Pretty big and plenty of parking (go to the underground one for easy parking).
Good choice and prices were reasonable. They also have a bulk area, which is better value.
There was a long checkout queue but it moved quickly. They had styrofoam boxes near the checkouts to put frozen goods in.
They also have an onsite restaurant, cafe & bakery. The bakery is better value than buying it from the supermarket. Cafe was good quality and price. Did not try restaurant.
S. W.
Love this shop. Can get a lot of oriental groceries that you can get here and cannot get from other shops! They have also recently opened a bubble tea shop next to the main main shopping area.
E. T.
This supermarket was larger than those in chinatown, to my pleasant surprise. Went there to buy some tang yuan and dumplings for winter solistics and ended up buying a lot of other things. Will be visiting soon again
M. M.
It's worth to browse through all the isles if you are looking for something particular, good choice of anything from takeaway that you would like to prepare at home. Although smell around meat fridges didn't persuade me to buy any fresh meat there. Plenty fresh noodles and they look great, tried only thin rice noodles which were fresh and really nice. Would love a bigger choice of fresh produce.
R. C.
The most amazing supermarket with fabulous huge restaurant next door with loads of pqrking
s. m.
I love going there it's only 10 minutes walk from my home, it had fresh fish and fresh vegetables it have a restaurant and a coffee to chill after long shopping. There is a halal food. The stuff are lovely i give it 5 star's
J. L.
Good selection of products! Some products weren't available where you can normally get in See Woo and Loon Fung! No raw chicken feet and Roasted peanuts. No bakery either!
n. p.
You can find anything you want. I just went for some Laksa paste but ended up buying all sorta of authentic Asian flavours and spices that i cannot find in a supermarket
H. P.
Clean and presentable, one of the better Chinese supermarkets in London. The cafe and restaurant are fairly authentic and a benefit to visiting the branch. The cafe also has a bakery selling Chinese pastries and cakes. The store is aimed towards the public and trade. There is some car parking available outside and underground parking available too with lifts.
K. G.
Loved it! Massive Chinese food store selling not only Chinese but Korean, Thai and some Indian food stuffs too. Fishmonger on site with live Lobsters and crabs! Frozen dim sum, gyozas, dumplings etc also there. Tons of different types of sauces and pastes for curries, chilli sauces, chow mein, Sichuan etc etc. 2 restaurants attached to it - Reindeer Cafe (super food but remember - massive portions!!), and Wing Tai dim sum restaurant (not bad). Recommended for your Chinese food shop & bites afterwards.
D. C.
Tasty food, good service and reasonable pricing.
P. W.
This Chinese supermarket in North London is arguably the best spot to find any authentic oriental ingredient for some stunning prices.
The store is clean, well organized, the staff is helpful.
You can find literally anything from pasta to bubble tea to groceries to rare ingredients to spices for most oriental cousines.
Highly recommended for a quick shopping or if you'd like to explore what oriental kitchens have to offer!
Don't miss the cafe/restaurant and the massage on the upper floors!
L. L.
I come to try new tea! They now have lots of new things!
c. a. (.
Just an up date on this superstore. I’ve been here many times and a lot of stuff you can find in here. New Cuppacha (bubble tea) inside, My son like the mango flavoured one. If you are in staples corner and craving for a bubble tea, this is the nearest place.
V. W.
Allow plenty of time for your shopping. There is a long queue to go in and a long queue to check out. Still the best oriental supermarket in the area! There are separate doors for the restaurants so no need to queue up if you only want to eat there. But you’ll have to join the queue if you want to shop after your meal.
W. M.
I like exotic food, that I usually don't find very often in London. My friend invited me to taste pigs trotters in a soup. It was awesome!!!! Well for people who likes that kind of exotic delicatessen!! Service was excellent!! And good value for money
N. T.
We come here regularly for food shopping. Great selection, good prices and we love the fresh seafood.
There are also 2 very busy restaurants on the same premises.
S. D.
Good place for food from Asia. Wholesale and general shopping
Fresh bakery on sure too and restaurant if you fancy some lunch or dinner
S. P.
Staff constantly working tirelessly stocking and making shopping experience as best as possible. All wearing masks and parking facilities excellent for the location
N. L.
Really good selection of chinese food. The fish counter is very good but fresher closer to the weekend. Very good cake shop and cafe within the building. I also like the dim sum in the restaurant, there is a waiting time on Sunday. Would like to see a larger amount of different types of asian food stuff as well.
H. T.
Good selection of oriental food and fresh seafood. Restaurant and bubble tea shop inside the market.
S. M.
Love it! Loads of parking. Plenty of choice, seafood & meat taste great. Vegetables fresh & full of flavor. Great bakery, bubble tea refreshing, looking to try there cafe next time. Best thing is the staff, happy, friendly & helpful, they seem to like working there.
A. A.
Good chainese store everyone mind his own business, I have mix feelings about costumes service is not easy to find sameone to help you when you looking for samething!!! When you find sameone definitely want to avoid you!!! Why? Maybe they don't get paid good money or maybe be tired!! Maybe they have lot think to do samwere!! But honestly my favourite store no bady disturb you or fallow you like suspicious of thief I respect staff for respecting costumers
D. N.
Lot of Asian products at reasonable price, such as Thai rices, Vietnam seafood, Hong Kong noodles and sauces.
Y.
A great Chinese supermarket which is tidy and has wide variety of choices.
J. K.
Best place for Asian grocery shopping. They have restaurants next to the shop as well. Very recommended.
C. H.
Good lunch if a little expensive. Probably ordered too much but takeaway boxes provided for what's left.
J. n. O. P.
Great place to shop for Asian foods with vast selection. The place is huge with a Chinese restaurant and bakery and a bubble tea cafe.
A. M.
Great supermarket for Asian product. Plus two restaurants what's not to like.
A. R.
I absolutely loooove this place, will definitely visit again ...its fun and quirky. Do not expect any staff to answer your questions if asked in English though.
Other then that, it's really nice place.
P. M.
Great selection of east Asian food produce. Many brands, clearly labelled in English. Includes a warehouse section for buying in bulk. It can be difficult to find specific items you are looking for, and the range changes often so something you have bought before may no longer be available.
A. N.
Good supermarket. Trolley management in the car park could be improved. Provided are some photos that show how the trolleys are just obstructing cars. I informed a staff member at the beginning of my visit and still the problem remained by the time I left.
T. C.
A very good chinese supermarket at reasonable prices. You can find many things that could not be found in local town chinese supermarket. Free parking. Chinese restaurant next door which is very convenient to take a rest and enjoy the food, esp for those travel from distant.
W. Y.
Good old reliable market, some things are overpriced but if you know what to look for, it should be fine like any supermarket
C. T.
I went there multiple times but the food never fails to satisfy me. The bubble tea was absolutely amazing.
C. M.
Vast pan-Asian supermarket. Bargain buys include bamboo steamers and cleaning supplies. Well worth a visit. Opening times quite limited.
D. E.
Larger than most Chinese stores in London Chinatown but price is comparable so may not be worth the hike if you don't live close by
H.
Find all your oriental ingredients and things that you normally can't find in the UK here. Absolutely love this supermarket from all types of noodles to seafood and lots of different snacks. But my all time favourite is the Halal chicken they sell. Would definitely go and check them out.
S. G.
Great Chinese supermarket and have a fab cafe and restaurant attached, bonus with a bakery too. One stop shop!
J. H.
Great variety of Chinese and other East Asian food produce. Massive!
N. B.
It was a very nice place to be. A bit crowded though but it's obvious there's a variety of products to choose from, chinese Korean n Philippines. It was my first time but very impressed. N at the end of my shopping I got a nice cold bubble tea. Yes, they have a cafeteria where they serve hot drinks n the famous delicious bubble tea. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes Chinese food and bubble tea 🧋☺
s.
2 Chinese Restaurants to choose from (Dim Sum, and Noodle Bar style). We went there on a Wednesday after and it was at the end of the lunch hours, so got a table straight away.
Nice food and fast service.
M. R.
Always enjoy my meal in this restaurant, service, quick food hot &
Delicious.
H. W.
Has most of the cooking spices, dry products, fresh fish and meat and the price a little above average. Some fresh vegetable stock not so fresh, a little disappointed as I needed lemon grass for my dish that day, overall they have everything and most of the main chinese brands you need.
Staff not so friendly, mostly long face and speaks bluntly, don't really serve with a smile.
Would I recommend, not really if you don't have to go don't, as the customer service is pretty bad, staff are not welcoming.
J. C.
Large busy bright Chinese superstore with everything you need to for authentic food. Good parking, upbeat and breezy staff and good deals. Fresh meat and fish at decent prices. Some of the staff don't speak great English but don't let that put you off - everyone's super helpful.
Dragon's in Chinese New Year adds to the atmosphere
M. K.
Massive shop, they have wide range of products, all kinds of Asian food. Staff isn't very friendly and helpful.
R. C.
Want life crabs and lobsters!! This is the place to look. If I want a seafood pigout I visit this place anything asian.you can find here
W. S.
Plenty of underground parking. Many choice of good food. Que can be very long for check out but waiting is short. You must try their bubble tea after shopping at the kiosk. Very refreshing.
T. P.
Great place . They need to advertise it more to get more customers. Also they should arrange kind of entertainment shows at dinner time
A. C.
Big Asian supermarket, good selection, free parking, Chinese cafe, Chinese restaurant, plus other miscellaneous shops. Great food, especially SIM Sum. Can be busy and noisy at times.
J. P.
Big Oriental super store. Clean and organize. There is also Café and is one of the best Chinese dish in London. Bubble tea inside the store. A perfect day out for groceries.
M. W.
Nice choice and variety of Chinese products only reason not the 5 star is the location with the one way system and price seems to bit a little higher than its competitors. However the Raindeer Cafe is almost a must Visit
D. L.
Dim sum was alright, not bad, not a whole range of dim sum options but it has the common stuff, go there quite often as I like to shop in the supermarket too 👍
l.
Just a fantastic supermarket full of the most amazing things. Great helpful staff, clean, well stocked & super restaurant and bakery! Love it
K. V.
Great for shopping oriental food supplies, especially rice. After shopping, head to the Reindeer Café - amazing Chinese food and bakery under one roof😊 plenty of parking spaces when it's not busy and very tasty food to suit all budget's. Visit if you're in the area👍
B. W.
Great but generally more expensive than anywhere!
M. P.
One of the best places to grab all your Asian essentials such as food, cooking ware and etc.
T. K.
Great store, probably the best Asian grocers I have visited! Everything is kept super tidy and good social distancing measures put in practice. Would definitely be going back to refill the pantry.
M. K.
Great place to shop for Chinese & Pan-Asian good stuff. Fish monger seafood are fresh.Reindeer cafe friendly staff.
L. P.
Good place for oriental shopping. Also have chinese cafe and restaurant inside the shopping mall. Chinese bakery is famous for their specialty egg tarts
a. m.
Great range of oriental products & all the staff were very helpful . I was very impressed by the layout & the clean store presentation.
Well done .
A. A.
Great Chinese supermarket that sells largely imported Chinese food products but also stocks some other items from other Asian countries. Really good value I found as many of the usual products I buy from other Chinese supermarkets were cheaper
T. P.
Great selection of foodstuffs from China, Korean, Vietnam and other SE Asian delicacies. Frozen, fresh, canned and dry goods, Inc fresh crab and lobster (held in tanks). Excellent range of kitchen utensils and oriental cooking kit. There's also the Chinese restaurant and bubble tea cafe of course. Staff really are friendly despite seeming stand-offish. Full covid precautions in effect.
C. P.
Its the place to go if you love Chinese cooking. Top quality fresh fish and meat, hundreds of unique condiments, well everything anyone would need. Being English its fascinating to visit and shop for authentic ingredients and be Immersed in everything Chinese. Plus you can eat in excellent restaurants on site.
a. k.
I ❤️ it , definitely I will go again. It was clean and tidy, but veeeeery loud especially lunch time
C. K.
Good range of stocks, friendly service, plenty parking spaces...
F. W.
Great store. Many things to buy.
P. K.
Not busy at all at 18:00 on a Saturday. There were only five tills open but the queue was moving very rapidly.
Not been there in over a year and prices seem to have gone up a lot.
P.
This place is still awesome and hasn't changed in years. Brilliant parking, Brilliant Asian food supermarket and and excellent place to get an oriental lunch or dinner.
A. R.
Wish they had more Jasmine tea and white coffee selection but they have literally everything else!
F. G.
Nice supermarket around north London region. Quite spacious and has all the Asian groceries that you need to buy. Fresh seafood available as well. Ample of parking spaces here. Wouldn’t mind coming here again when I am in this part of London.
g. a.
Very neatly organised loads of Chinese products
L. P. E.
This place has the best fish, crab and lobster counter ever - staff are always friendly
Good for wholesale and family shopping as well.
Don't rush in there or you will miss some great offers and plan visit well as a busy area to get to, but worth it
O. F.
Great supermarket for all your Asian grocery needs, can buy in bulk or house sized amounts. Also have a large area in the back selling all sorts of food service supplies
J. J.
Highly recommend for your Asian groceries. There are Chinese restaurants as well though we didn’t have enough time to try
V. W.
A lot of asian ingredients, a lot of variety and if you are asian or you want to cook asian dishes it's definitely a place to visit. There is a butchery, there are snacks, cooking ingredients, a million types of noodles and in the back of the store you can find bulk beer, rice and oil. One thing missing is plastic bags, so either come with a car or be prepared to buy a very expensive reusable bag. We got a nice thermal bag for ~3.5 gbp.
O. B.
Supper place, so many things to bay if you like Asian cuisine.
I. C.
If you are looking for a oriental supermarket with a great selection of genuine products in NW London this is the place to go to.
M. C.
Great/vast selection of Chinese ,SE Asian foods. Great place for bulk buying as their warehouse is the size of a football field (not measured 😜).
There's additional shops/café....the food within the latter is a great place to eat after shopping. Staff were helpful when approached. Good luck 🍀
翟.
The items are very rich, I bought things that I can't buy in other Chinese supermarkets.
R. L.
Wing yip is one of my favourite Chinese supermarkets to go to as they stock a very wide range of products in one place. Usually for Chinatown shops I have to go to multiple individual places to get things but Wing Yip is great for everything. They also opened a Chuppa Cha inside so I can get my bubble tea fix after a good round of shopping. I usually visit Wing Yip every couple of months to buy stuff in bulk that lasts me ages. The restaurant here is also great for dim sum!
M. T.
Fantastic stock, great staff. Wonderfully efficient
J. J.
Great selection of produce, and excellent quality fish counter. Conveniently located and there are two on site restaurants (I think). I ordered food to go, which was prepared while I shopped.
E. R.
I love this store! It has almost everything Asian goodies. I can find all the ingredients I need here when I'm craving my favourite dishes whether they maybe Filipino, Japanese, Chinese or Korean. I especially appreciate the fresh vegetables. They also have lots of kitchen wares especially for restaurants but I got lovely stuff for my kitchen too, like an earthenware pot to cook rice or stew for two.
L. F.
So well organised, with extra staff to help out.
D. H.
I ate in the reindeer cafe Really good !! Tasty fresh food
P. S.
Great selection of everything you could want from such a place.
P.
Well stocked, and relatively good prices !
E. G.
Excellent range of food ,will definitely be back to stock up for Xmas
K. R.
Awsome place to experience and to shop for those things you can't get elsewhere
J. D.
Large Asian supply store with a wide range of fresh, chilled and frozen products available individually or in bulk packaging. Prices are generally pretty reasonable (general supermarkets may be cheaper on the items they stock) but find it worth the trip for the things you can't get elsewhere: e.g., 10kg+ bags of rice from dozens of varieties.
A. S.
Wide range of Asian food products. Price is not always cheap, so please compare and choose.
Lots of free parking space.
W. C.
This is our go to store for Chinese groceries. Prices are very good and provides a huge selection. We’ve been to other shops and you can’t compare. We also love the fact that there’s a dim sum restaurant AND a canto restaurant where you can buy Chinese pastries. It beats going to Chinatown as there’s free parking and so much space to shop without the crowds.
M. L.
Absolutely amazing. Everything you would need for many East Asian dishes. The restaurant next door was also fabulous
R. L.
Good selection of oriental food supplies with nice restaurant. Could be quite crowded during weekends.
S. J.
Any asian food you will find it here.. 🦐🦞🦀🦑🥟🍜🍚🦪🍤🍱🍣🍛🍲 but a bit expensive.
M. G.
Always a great selection of Chinese and other supermarket items. There's a wide selection of frozen food as well as fresh fish and meat. There's crockery and equipment for cooking too. For the Chinese restaurants there's a section to buy in bulk.
A. C.
Very good large warehouse-style grocery. Covers most common shopping I would expect to find in Hong Kong. What I could not find could be a little obscure; for example I could not find large char siu pao -- they only offer one brand, of which only one (smaller) type. Also no duck gyoza by Ajinomoto, despite carrying chicken, pork and veg variations.
Good dishware selection. Excellent rice cooker selection. Large warehouse / whole sale area with rice sacks by the 30 kilo bag, too. Various steamers in metal and bamboo. Various cooking / stove wares. All around a good place to shop.
B. T.
Intersting authentic food with bistro on a side ! Easy parking and connections
B. B.
Got everything I needed and more. Loved the shopping experience 😍
P. S.
The food was amazing, everything was very delicious. Also the prices in the shop were great. Free parking too!
P. S.
Huge supermarket for all your Asian food requirements
H. W.
Love the Hong Kong style food
M. a. V. L. E. r.
Good shap hava Fresh chicken 🐔🐔🐔🐔🐓🐓🐓🐓
M.
you can find any oriental ingredients here in this big suppermarket. Whenever I want to cook Chinese or Vietnamese dishes I will go there and buy the stuff I need.
There is a restaurant there, the waiters are little bit rude but the quality of the food is nice. However they are not fast enough you have to wait long time to have your food. However in general my experience was positive
G. L.
Great for Chinese food and the Reindeer cafe is excellent inside the building
R. N.
Great supermarket with an incredible selection of asian foods. Prices are reasonable too, and its spacious, so feels covid safe. The staff are friendly and efficient. Love this place!
S.
Excellent. I bought everything I came to buy plus a lovely dinner to take home at the Raindeer Cafe next door.
K. H.
Many products to shop, nice staffs.
P. (. L.
Staffs was very helpful compared with Hoo xxxx, must go this place when come around colindale.
A. A.
Can get most specialist ingredients and am impressed with their cleanliness and customer control during Covid. Went in yesterday and was not impressed with the fishmonger. Lacks customer care and was snappy when my wife pointed to produce. There's a small sign wait high telling customers not to touch but it's obscured by people standing in front of it. It should be placed on the dish counter in direct line of sight. Will go to Hoo Hong next time.
G.
Love it, amazing choices for Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese and Korean cuisine. Frozen and fresh food available aswell as lots of dry foods. Also a huge area which is just for wholesale.
E. D. P.
Amazing selection, very reasonably priced. Best to plan some time in especially if it is your first visit, so much to discover.
A. A.
I love going to this place, this has been my local oriental superstore that I go to since I was a kid they have a great range of products from different countries like China, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, etc.
They sometimes have live seafood there for you to choose and take home to have fresh which is a great thing if you love authentic oriental food then this is the plcae for you to buy and make yourself or they have a restaurant inside also where you can go and eat, there is also a fancier restaurant on the side of the shop where serve you the same food but at a more pricier range for the fine dining experience...check it out for yourself
M. A.
Great Chinese Supermarket. Has lots of stuff. Good Meat & Fish too. Plenty sauces, spices and an extensive range of frozen foods ranging from Bao to Gyoza, Spring Rolls. The list is endless. Very decently priced too.
G. W.
Popular supermarket offering a wide range of products including fresh tofu, noodles etc. The only product I rate highly which they don't stock are the range of Malaysian sauces by Teans or Teens although they do offer an alternative brando find inferior.
By the main entrance you will see Raindeer Cafe which is a restaurant and takeaway. Very good food from there including Hong Kong dishes such as stuffed beabcurd and spicy aubergine hot pot.
Parking - there is an underground carpark with a lift to the shopfloor, use it.
P. F.
I first shopped at this place 25 years ago when I lived in Hampstead village. Since then it has expanded a lot to now include cafe and restaurant. It has also become more expensive compared to other wholesalers selling to non trade and I don't think the offering is any better compared to its competitors. It is still tricky to get to if approached from the North Circular as you need to do a u turn more conveniently at the petrol station down the road (who must get v irritated with everyone doing this). I tried the it cafe and bought Chinese roast duck and crispy pork to take away and it was OK not particularly yummy. I doubt I will be making an effort to return there especially when I have other oriental supermarkets closer by with better value and better offering. It has had it's day.
A. B.
We love shopping here. Vast variety of food available with good stock levels.
G. Y.
Great supermarket for pretty much all things Asian, caters to both the home shopper and larger catering operations. Most of their produce is frozen, but there is a fresh vegetable section and a fish counter. I wish they had more in the way of fresh meat though, most if not all is frozen.
That said, always good to come here and pick up essentials, there's normally some sort of free taster on the weekends too.
A. F.
Herbal healthcare centre is incredible. Couldn't recommend Daphne and Rachel more.
N. P.
Interesting supermarket, with a range of products not available elsewhere. Excellent if you are into cooking Chinese food. Virtually every ingredient available for the budding Chinese gourmet, gourmand & chef.
I especially liked the sauces, fresh veggies, dried products & live crabs. My fav product are the century eggs - not easily available (if at all) elsewhere.

Good selection of goods, enjoyable food and fairly reasonably priced. In cafe

Wing Yip is my favourite Asian food superstore. I visit this store at least every other month to stock up. I am always able to find what I need and discover new things to try.
The store is well stocked so there is never any disappointments
The staff are helpful abd efficient and the food is always good quality.
Would highly recommend.
J. P.
Fantastic service. Very helpful with stock. When you ask at customer service they will find you everything.
S. B. b.
Very good with high quality goods. I used to buy all of my restaurant goods from here. I still do my normal shopping here. All of the staff are very helpful and the cashiers are very kind. This shop is excellent. Wing Yip is really good and it even has 2 restaurants which gives you delicious food.
J. A.
Great asian supermarket with competitive prices however some things are overpriced and can now be bought much cheaper in supermarkets like Morrisons e.g cirspy fried onion. The best thing about this place is the cafe attached that sells really good food to take away.
t. a.
Good price... Not all staffs speaks English but good people.. Willing to help...
S. B.
This place has practically everything you need to make Asian food at good prices. You will be amazed at the variety of products. I have been going there for years.
T. R.
My Favourite oriental supermarket in North London with many things you don't find in your standard supermarkets.
A. D.
I wanted extra oyster mushrooms only 1 was on display, after asking for help, the supervisor of the cashiers went to check on supply in the back and was told there was none in stock .
I completed my shopping and went to the enquiry desk to find out when the next delivery was in. A young lady on the desk inside said there was stock there but to go to my car and put the shopping in the car and return as it would take at least 10 minutes for him to find them, I was asked how many did I want and I said three packs.
On my return, I was told I had to go and collect the packs from the fridge, I asked if it was possible for someone to bring them as I was unable to walk that far again as I have mobility issues, both she and the desk clerk refused saying it was not their policy to bring items for customers.
I did let them know I was disabled and they still refused.
I was going to order a case next week for my small vegan company but I will look elsewhere.
s. h.
Massive selection of Oriental and S.E. Asian foodstuffs. Reasonable prices.
Quite long distancing queues for the checkouts at times, though. You might want to think about the potential for developing varicose veins.....
a. G.
Got frozen fishes, frozen prawns, fish ball, fish cakes, tofu's, noodles,mushrooms..like enoki and the like.
Very reasonable pricing.
To owner, please maintain and keep the price low.
We will definitely come again..
Staffs were very helpful. Happy new year..
L. B.
Best oriental supermarket in North London. Fresh fish counter, wholesale meats, as well as a warehouse out the back, stacked with almost every conceiveable consumable and ingredient. Fresh vegetables, with a comprehensive selection of Chinese. Thai, Malaysian ingredients, snacks, drinks, frozen foods, a must visit.
K.
if you like making Chinese food all the ingredients here
C. R.
Always have lots of variety, veggies are always fresh too. Definitely recommend
A. L.
Great experience for Asian food, top quality control.
P. W.
The best Asian grocery store that I have found in West London. The store is large and well laid out. Plenty of parking available as well
许.
Great Chinese supermarket with a wide selection.
Z. G.
I think that my expectations were a bit too high so I'm adjusting my initial thoughts and giving 4 stars instead 3. It's a good place to find packaged and frozen goods but fresh fruits and vegetables are a bit limited (This was on a Sunday afternoon though). There is a big warehouse section where bulk items are sold (20-50L oil and big bags of whatever's). Parking was easy.
G. C.
I have been shopping and dining at Wing Yip Cricklewood for more than 10 years. The restaurant is a great spot for authenic dim sum and Chinese food. The supermarket has a great selection of Pan-Asian groceries, frozen food and utensils, although the focus is Chinese. It's also worth mentioning that the car park is spacious and well-maintained. In my recent visits I've been very impressed by their Covid safety measures. With the queueing system, one-way traffic, hand sanitisers etc shopping feels safe and pleasant.
D. S.
Massive range of oriental food products. Wing Tai restaurant inside the store is worth a visit to experience real, authentic Chinese food.
s. j.
Very clean ,staff helpful always find what I need
H. W.
Best Asian Supermarket. I have been coming here for years to stock up on my sauces, noodles & snacks. I treat myself to fresh mochi every time. Free food samples every Saturday. Well worth a visit if you love Asian products. There is a restaurant in the store too.
P. T.
One can find everything you need to prepare all the Asian cuisine. Parking is very convenient. I would go there again!
M. B.
Wing Yip wasn't busy when I went there on a Monday around 10.45AM so got my shopping done quickly and with minimal fuss caused by covid rules. Walked straight in and only had to queue for a couple minutes to pay ... 4/5 score cos I had to ask where the Chinese Leaf was but it was still waiting to be put out on the shop floor...
O.
A little tricky getting there as it's on one side of the A5 BY STAPLES corner but once you get there it's great for parking and the resturants are really good for Dim sum and roast pork/duck/chicken rice. Plenty of tables in the main restaurant. Food is lovely, with a wide variety. The smaller resturant is for people who want to hVe a quick plate of rice or noodles. The bigger is. More for bigger gatherings like family meets and friend groups. Service is pretty quick. The supermarket is great too, big and spacious and has pretty much everything you need.
V. C.
Absolutely love this place. Been coming here for years. Come for Chinese food in the restaurant and then do some oriental shopping! Good selection of all things and some unusual things. Hundreds of variety of instant noodles and even wholesale section. Staff are multilingual and helpful. If you are lucky there is usually free samples of people promoting products!
S. C. T.
Car park is a bit small for busy days. Lot of Asian food and groceries which are good prices
A. A.
Where else can you get fresh bok choi, choi sum, fresh noodles, etc at that price. Great fresh produce, interesting goods, even if you don't know exactly how to prep them.
Trial and error but good quality produce to play with. Also has 2 restaurants on site.
You can eat in or take away.
M. K.
Good range of products for all Asian ethnicities, a little pricey.
Staff are not very friendly or welcoming but that's probably because they are not paid well.
C. G.
Good Chinese restaurants in a food desert. The bigger restaurant is quite expensive the smaller quite crowded and you get treated like cattle but the food is good. Reminds me of Wong kee in China town. The supermarket is quite good although the choice of fresh fruit and vegetables is limited.
R. M.
Excellent choice of Asian cuisine to choose from great customer experience very friendly service
B. D.
Good range of Asian foods, mainly Chinese. Fresh fruit and veg. Fish counter is ok for price and freshness, not the best variety our fishmongers. Most fresh meat is in carrying sizes, they are best known for their value freezer foods.
There's also a really good cafe (reindeer cafe) where they serve great bakery good to take away and offer a reasonable Chinese food sit down service.
D. K.
Best Chinese supermarket and cash and carry. Been coming here since I was a child and the place just has all the Chinese necessities. Get your proper Ramen Instant noodle fix but by the Box!!
D. K.
Awesome prices, coupled with a humongous selection of Oriental goods which is practically unrivalled in North London makes this the perfect outlet for your far East Asian shopping!
Also has a few central Asian stock but you're better off getting that from an Indian/Pakistani specialest store.
B. W.
A very wide range of Oriental groceries, also fresh meat and fresh fish and a good range of cookware. There is an adjoining Chinese restaurant and cakeshop. Staff are very helpful and bilingual. Parking is free and available. Store prices are reasonable.
S. C.
Its a Chinese supermarket that sells a variety of Asian ( Chinese, Indian, Thai, Korean, Japanese, Malaysian , Vietnamese) produce.
There is a restaurant and fast food cafe next to it.
B. A.
Amazingly well-stocked supermarket. They have everything.
w. p. t.
helpful staff, good products, quite easy to navigate, quite good prices for most things. I went there for the first time and probably will come back!
however it was in quite a busy place with lots of traffic around it (they can't change that though)
s.
Very moody guy who wears a small Filipino flag at the fresh fish section. Never says hello back to you when greeted. Very abrupt mannerisms always.
T. I.
Chinese supermarket with good selection of oriental food. Has a fishmonger with reasonable variety of seafood including oysters and lobsters. Has a cafe and restaurant within the complex. Food quality is very good
C. D.
Always an adventure shopping here! I feel like there's always something new (food wise) to try out, PLUS their bulk warehouse section is great! Specially if you're the "bulk-buying" type!
We always shop here our Asian flavours and will always do so!
Give it a visit and see what foods you'll discover!
C. B.
Great place for Asian/oriental food. There is are lots of spices, frozen produce, fresh produce to choose from. There is a Chinese restaurant next door, have never been but heard good things. Free parking. The staff are sometimes not helpful with asking questions on where things are, however the shoppers I have found are more than willing to help.
W. G.
Great place for food business and general shopping
A. L.
This supermarket is very well stocked with east Asian ingredients. For example, I can only get Squid brand premium fish sauce so essential in Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese cuisines here. Yeah, premium.
F. C.
Massive selection of Asian foods and at a reasonable price. Some of the more exotic or fresh stuff can be expensive but that's to be expected when getting jack fruit from half way around the world. Staff are usually very helpful though sometimes we find that they don't know where something relatively simple is; I guess this is the issue with having so much on offer. The biggest problem is the length of the queues to pay, people tend to stock up for a while when shopping here (or stocking their business) so waiting can take a while. Would suggest going when it's not busy
S. R.
It's was a really nice experience to go here. I love going to different places especially when it comes to food and cultures. There is plenty or everything when it come to food and if you are a chef you would love it here. There prices are not bad. Just keep in mind that they don't put the vat on the prices on till you go and pay at the end. The only disappointing thing was the staff as in the management can be really rude. That's the only reason why I have them 3 stars. Other then that it is actually a good place to shop especially if you are a student or a company trade person.
G. C.
Went about 2pm on Sunday (during Covid). Queue starts in the underground parking lot and with about 6 people in front of me. It took about 15mins. They are doing a good job of limiting customers as per govt guidelines. Wing Yip has the largest selection of frozen dumplings of all.the Asian cash and carrys
C.
Wing yip is Asian market heaven. Anything you need... You will find in this store. Go when you have lots of time on your hands though because hours will fly by real quick. The staff are very friendly but not always helpful. They sometimes have no idea what you are looking for (which I can understand. The store is massive and they may only know certain products under another name). Don't be afraid to try out something new. I spent £70 in that store today. I honestly can't wait to try out some new recipes.
A. O.
I've been here several times now. There's such a large selection of Asian foods. It's easy to become lost in here but it's great. The wide selection of asian foods is fantastic. There's also a great restaurant adjoint to the store which I would highly recommend for traditional and reasonably priced Chinese cuisine.
L. G.
MY CASHIER MISS : KUKLA MADE MY EXPERIENCE PERFECT. SHE'S ALWAYS HAPPY TO HELP WITH A GENUINE SMILE, BUT THE CHINESE MANAGER IS RACIST, & WHEN I COMPLAINED TO THE HEAD OFFICE, THEY DIDN'T CARE...
L. L.
Great selection of products, wife is S/E Asian and this is THE place where she shops. Extremely well organized for COVID, organised browsing and queuing for the tills, trolley spotless clean and with cleaning stations, every customer and staff wears a mask.
K. M.
Has good range of Chinese vegetables and noodles... Also fruits and tofu and many staples. Parking free. I am vegetarian and recommend you check ingredients of sauces etc very carefully. Not possible to comment on the non-veg products.
O. B.
Absolutely loved this place. Good customer service great selection of oriental food selection. All sorts of rice at great price.
C. N.
Really love the food and atmosphere here! Highly recommend families and friends to visit and have a meal🇨🇳
T. N.
Smaller then Manchester one but lift from car park is a plus
k. f.
I love this shop. I can get all the specialty food I want, it has a great Veggie/ vegan meat free selection. Prices are reasonable and staff are helpful. The shop is clean and easy to navigate and parking is plentiful.
M. R.
Great selection of food, manager opened another till when it got busy. Only downside was no hand sanitizer for customers on the way in or anywhere inside the store.
N.
Great store with lots of specialty products. Has everything from fresh to frozen food and kitchenware.
S. W. (.
Love this huge Chinese supermarket. Loads of parking, Chinese restaurant and cafe on site.
k. M.
Amazing food and service. A really popular place. Will be back for sure to take some pics
P. F.
They have everything i need of oriental cooking under one roof. Hygiene environment. Helpful and friendly staff.
M. M.
Very very big queue to enter for no particular reason ,prices like everywhere else ,very weak fresh vegetable and fruit section .I prefer Loo Fung or Hmart...
S. E.
The best Chinese supermarket in London. Very well stocked and a huge variety of goods. Loads of parking too. Definitely a five star.
M. J.
Wing Yip....good prawns. The few times I've been Not a Black staff member. Wow in this day and age. Otherwise good.
p. k.
You can literally find everything oriental here. And fresh seafood too.
A.
A nice place to purchase chinese ingredients and equipment for food. Has two restaurants, one that serves dim sum etc. and the other for casual fried rice/noodles etc. There are also buns for sale as well, such as the popular char siu bao. A nice area to park underground as well that serves direct access to the supermarket.
k. n.
Easy to park staff r helpful nice food
M. A.
I really liked the fact that it is designed to look like a shop from china. You can get mos things in there but i would not say the actual store is big inside as the top floors are for other businesses. The fish and meat are slightly expensive but all other items are good price. Worth a visit once.
J. N.
Love the variety of things. However didn't have the selection of kimchi I normally get. I do like going wing tip for the fast food Chinese restaurant.... Very tasty
W. Y.
Good place to buy a selection of Oriental food. Mainly Chinese, but they have a section with Japanese, korean, Vietnam and Thai products. The warehouse is open so very convenient for restaurants to buy stock but there's also other kitchenware items there.
J. Y.
Easy to get to, wide range of selection from the Oriental grocer. There is a Hong Kong style cafe and a Chinese restaurant that sever dim sum at lunch time. Ample of free parking spaces.
C. H.
Store layout is excellent and well organized
Good selection of popular Asian and oriental products
Best place to buy fish, noodles, cooking sauces and Chinese vegetables
Enjoyed the aisle of cute useful Japanese kitchenware and the mini Korean snack section
D. “. V.
Oriental foods supplies. With restaurant and a parking space at basement. Mainly chinese management but products came from various places like Asian foods and products.
Coming to this store is a bit difficult if you come from A406 since the Cricklewood is dual carriageway and you can't turn right. So you have to U turn through a petrol station.
p. w.
The supermarket has a massive range of Asian food stuffs and products at reasonable prices. Free parking is also helpful but the attached cafe and restaurant deserve a special mention as the quality is as good, if not better than chinatown.
C. O.
I have been to this branch since they opened all those years ago in Cricklewood. I have to admit the customer service back then was better than it is now.
Also, it felt like a family friendly place to go to, but now lacks that vital edge. Price wise quite often than not it is also more expensive than going to buying the same item in Chinatown in Central London.
If you don't have the time to go to Chinatown in Central London, then it does serve it's purpose of providing the essentials of Asian ingredients.
R. A.
The live oysters here and selection of fish makes this the best place to add to your weekly shop. I love Japanese food as well and the curries here are great... Highly recommended place to add to your weekly shopping.
V. S.
A large cash and carry which sells all types of sauces noodles fresh fish and meats. Also does fresh tofu and Chinese vegetables. Alot of restaurants do their wholesale buying here. You will find alot of food products from the far east
N. “. A.
Lots of options but not as good pricing compared to reading Chinese market. Buy that's the London premium, if living outside London continue to shop outside London.
Restaurant was fairly decent many good options, fairly priced for location, not far from Westfield if want a good shopping trip.
S. T.
look huge from outside but the store itself only about 1/2 or 2/3 because of the bulk products. recommended if you like Asian stuff!
S. O.
The food is amazing and the staffs are so friendly.
G. S.
Went to get fresh octopus and they had plenty. Always noticed some lovely large fresh prawns. Prices very reasonable. Also on a side note one of the only places that have A&W Root beer at the same price as a can of coke and not triple the price as other places charge.
D. Q.
Amazing shop, on entering makes you feel like your in Asia. Has a huge selection of products. Staff are also from this region and have very good knowledge of their stock. Amazing walking around seeing all the different products they sale. Just like any other major retail store i.e. asda or Sainsbury's but specialise in Asian cuisine and that part of the world food wise. Also has a cafe, toilets and restaurant located inside. Plenty of parking with out front parking and an underground parking facility. Has a couple of disabled bays located just outside the doors too. Would definetly recommend a visit to see this place it's amazing and beautiful.
W. F.
Great variety of Chinese products for our hot pot!
A. H.
Fine if you like Chinese foods but also sell fish, prawns, beef, fresh crab and lobster. Various types of alcohol.
Also deals with catering trade and has many Chinese/Asian cooking tools and dry goods.
Has two restaurants. One cafe type selling fast eat in Chinese food. Cakes etc
The other is a more formal one. Dim Sum is popular weekends. Parking available in front and in basement of supermarket. Has lifts.
If you come from Brent Cross you have to u- turn through the petrol station, or take the next right, then next right, then next right! Not far, Sometimes petrol station put barriers to prevent u- turn.
K. T.
Great Chinese supermarket, very well stocked in the range of products. Mainly Chinese groceries but there are also other Asian products from Japanese to Korean. There is also great authentic Cantonese restaurant wonderful food.
G. K.
Want to eat some good Chinese food cheap, then this is the place, quality of food is good, but be prepared to share your table with others as its very crowded and tables are in demand, just eat and leave type of place. Great food, and you will enjoy it, so who cares if you have to leave you table in a hurry.
K. D.
Best Chinese supermarket in the UK and probably all of Europe. Amazing selection and choice. Huge !
K. D.
Chinese supermarket. Also has other Asian products such as Thai or Filipino. Also stocks cooking gear, plates etc . Not particularly good value, but huge variety all in one place. There's a restaurant, travel agency, technology and kitchen hardware. Parking downstairs is better, there's a lift.
M.
Huge store, mainly frozen and dried oriental stuffs but they also have a small section of fresh seafood, fresh meat, fresh vegs/fruits and homeware stuffs. They have exotic vegs like tongho, kailan, wintermelon, etc which are fresher and cheaper than Chinese grocery stores in central London. There is Reindeer Cafe right at the entrance where you can buy roasted bbq meats (duck, pork) and pastries to go.
M. M.
Good super market. You can find all foods from Asia. Lots of parking space, there is restaurant inside. 3 elevators from parking area straight to the supermarket. Very clean place. free news paper from Philippines, China, Japan and many more.
C. H. W.
Two great places to eat inside. A full blown restaurant and a casual cafe where you would probably share a table with another group.
There is a big chinese supermarket as well as other smaller businesses.
Car parking is free and plenty of it. There is an underground which isn't obvious.
K. H.
Would've been 5 stars but the ever creeping of mainlandisation of its products for the sake of greater margins does not go unnoticed, and could end up being detrimental to its loyal customers
D. L.
Just spent the day in London for family or as they might say "famleh, innit"
So I often come here when in the capital, to do a bit of shopping. Most of the stuff is a bit, or sometimes more than a bit, cheaper than in Bristol. So that usually means my poor car gets stuffed with things.
The reindeer cafe on the side is nice, and I will normally get lunch there. The prices aren't too bad, and there's a good choice of food plus the bakery has nice goods, and I always bring back a big box of sweet things for the kids.
Z. C.
Huge range of asian food at good prices. Parking is quite tight and stressful. Was incredibly crowded when we went, took about 30 mins to do checkout. Might be better to visit during quiet period if possible.
E.
Large selection of frozen foods, spices and cooking equipment. Great bubble tea shop too!
P. P.
It's a HUGE Chinese grocery supermarket with all things Chinese and some Malaysian, Thai, Japanese and Korean. Just be aware that there are no shopping baskets, just trolleys. Next to it there's a Cantonese restaurant which is great for yummy and affordable dim sum.
R. S.
I really like wing yip because the the wide variety of items that they sell, they sell everything from frozen gyoza, to curry paste to crockery. They also have two restaurants and the food there is very nice, they also pack your items of food into your bag for you and so it is really easy to go there and it is no hassle at all. The fresh produce is of top quality
T. R.
This is an absolutely giant Chinese food market. You could wander around here for hours looking at all the different food stuffs. The prices here are really reasonable and the quality can't be beaten. While they do stock many of the same brands you will find in other super markets the wide selection of brands they carry allows you to sample - in my opinion - much better brands you might never have heard of.
The staff here are extremely polite, efficient and helpful and they are a credit to their company.
At Wing Yip there is also a restaurant where you can get a main and rice for around £8 which is barginous, especially as the portions are pretty much big enough for two. I frequently stop here while doing my shop as the service is quick and the flavours are intense.
It's a fantastic place.
C. C.
Love the place. Cafe, now only takeaway, is amazing. Can't wait to sit in. Better than our local takeaways.
f. r.
I always buy too much...too many interesting products to add flavour to my food. Non GMO tofu. Would like to see also organic tofu. Nice sweet potato noodles. Salted beans ans bean paste and thai curry pastes...etc. dried fungus.
Great for some vegan shopping.
N. W.
I love this store, they supply Chinese restaurants so you'll find everything you need here including tools and equipment. Knowledgeable staff great variety to products
P. R.
Absolutely fantastic!!
Always a treat, with fantastic Dim Sum in a genuinely authentic environment. It gets really busy - particularly Sundays and any Chinese festivals - which means you've got to turn up early and expect to queue. The service can suffer on a busy day but the feel of the place is always worth the wait!
S. L.
Good variety of Chinese and Asian grocery. Fresh fish and meat counters. Good range of Asian vegetables and imported fruits. Not expensive. Good parking.
S. M.
Great place for stocking up on bulk sushi rice and avoid being conned into buying the small packets in the supermarket. Think smart buy smart.
V. T.
Cafe style cafe. Excellent food and portion sizes. Family style. Most people share dishes and sometimes you have to share tables. Certainly not for a romantic meal. Excellent supermarket attached.
P. F.
One of largest Chinese supermarkets in the UK. It has vast selection of Oriental foods and ingredients. You can also get fresh seafood at the seafood counter. It accepts all debit cards and Visa/MasterCard credit cards only.
S. K.
Had everything I needed and more, that's why I spent so much. Would have been better if customers practiced social distancing but the store were trying their best
t. c.
Great for all your Asian cooking needs. Things that you can't get in local supermarkets. A bit pricey but well worth it if you require the right best quality ingredients.
P. s.
You can get most Chinese groceries here, including dried mushroom, fugus, wolfberries, etc
A. B.
Good clean store. All Asian condiments available in bulk at reasonable prices. Plenty of parking
M. H.
Good Chinese supermarket for picking up essentials and bulk items. The dim sum restaurant is usually crowded on Sundays. Food at the café is reasonable - don't expect good service though. Its all about the food rather than the service!
J. C.
My favourite Chinese supermarket franchise. I normally go to the Croydon one but we were in the area. We visited the Reindeer Cafe, the Hong Kong cafe cuisine there is very authentic. Supermarket sells everything you would need for Asian groceries.
M. M.
The best Asian supermarket in London. They have Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Thai and many more similar products.
M. O.
Best Chinese super store in NW London.
Get your Christmas shopping done now to avoid the rush. COVID-19 compliance.
P. Y.
Average good for shopping, reasonable prices, queue up for long time but the till person only greetings 'white' customer or chatted friends they know. As for me to the next person to pay, no greetings or smile. Officially their good service only for limited customer.
E. K.
Good location. Good Asian supermarket. One stop shop for all your Asian food needs. A Chinese restaurant on prem to get your char siu on the go or to have a good break from all the shopping
L. H.
The supermarket have a wide range of products and the price are quite reasonable.
D.
Chinese supermarket with everything you would want!
Reindeer cafe with fresh food and must-have duck, pork and chicken with rice.
The main restaurant is so well known for its delicious dimsum and it does not disappoint! Great, great restaurant!
T. G.
Nice Asian supermarket, good prices. Friendly staff. Plenty of free parking. The Reindeer cafe serves lovely food, no nonsense street food, served Asian style at good prices.
J. G.
Whether it's tofu or your favourite soy sauce, Wing Yip has all the essentials that you'll need for your oriental shop-up. Clean and well-maintained with efficient service.
M.
I went there recently for the first time to check it out since I just moved into this area.
They have a very large sortiment and pretty decent prices. What I really loved was the wonderful service of the staff. I thought they were all really friendly and helpful.
D. G.
Very wide selection. The more popular it becomes, the more pricey it gets.
Till staff are polite and there is always someone to pack for you.
Other staff around the store seem less friendly and often (appear) to resent being asked questions.
I guess it can be frustrating to be asked for the location of something which (to you) is in the correct and logically obvious place.
But, good service is when one smiles and doesn't make the customer feel like an unwelcome idiot simply because they can't read simplified Chinese.
They are starting to reduce the variety of selections. I have been coming to wing yip since 2008. More mainline supermarkets are starting to stock some of the same lines and at better prices.
There is another super-wholsaler/ market not far away near blackbirds cross. People will start to go there more as wing yip variety decreases.
Some parking available. On site restaurant...... fresh but a little expensive. Better choice in Soho's restaurants.
Remember.... Don't tip. Management keeps the tips. Just like most Chinese restaurants. It's traditional. And we wouldn't want to argue with thousands of years of tradition would we?
J. M.
Excellent for prawns, fish and spare ribs and also lots of sauce.
C. L.
I mostly come for the Dim Sum, but be warned come early or face heavy queues. They are always busy especially at lunch times so be prepared to wait, sometimes over an hour to get a seat.
The Dim sum prices are cheap but good quality. I dont believe any dim sums item on the menu exceeds £5, most around £3-4, which is a steal in London. Oh and the supermarket is not too bad either!
V. L.
Apart from the large life crabs and lobsters being tied up and dealt with as inanimate object dumped on top of one another, the supermarket is well stocked with Chinese and Asian products. Their animal welfare policy is 0.
M. L.
Great asian supermarket with good restaurants on the side. Food is affordable and tasty. In its own way, feels much more authentic than places like Chinatown.
M. R.
As usually huge choice of products with lots of staff around. There is only one bad thing about this store and is the fact that is now closing at 19:00. Sometimes is hard to get before closing time and even if you managed to come before that time fresh fish will be packed away around 18:30.
J. S.
A good place to shop for food especially for the asian community as you can find items and groceries from your native country. The shop has free parking too.
A. T.
My favourite asian supermarket. A massive range of everything from food to takeaway containers. Prices for everyday things such as soy sauce are so much cheaper than you pay elsewhere.
A. O.
I have been visiting this store for many years...most of what you need is here. Fresh fish and cupboard items. I would like to give more than 3 stars but no one seems to speak English and their customers service is non existent. Don't expect anybody to help you find items.
N. O.
A great supermarket if you like Asian food from Chinese to Filipino, Thai Malaysian and Korean. Very tidy and clean place and very professional staff that are very productive.
a. k.
this was a cool place
I could get many food from other countries
M. G.
Best Asian/ethnic supermarket ever! Tons of produce. Big seafood counter. Lots of frozen stuff, including meat and more seafood. Great selection of fresh stuff including some fresh meat, veggies, noodles, and fruits. It's the first place I found mangosteen in the UK, and they even have durian sometimes. Incredible range of dried/canned produce, too, and a huge warehouse section with kitchen supplies and bulk amounts of things like canned drink and boxes of noodles. You can obviously run a restaurant entirely on supplies from here, but I would recommend it to anyone into food, anyone ethnic and looking for unusual supplies (or just nostalgic about home) and even students looking for a few cheap boxes of instant noodles.
B. C.
Well stocked Chinese cash and carry but also has other oriental food goods. There is a dim sum resturant on site which is handy
V. T.
Good Chinese supermarket. Clean, well lit store. There are good stock of far Eastern countries products. They cater for wholesale and retailing as well.
E. N.
Super large Asian grocery store for all your condiments, frozen goods, cooking utensils and bulk buy needs. They stock some items that you might not find in Chinatown and some items are cheaper, however it's a bit of a journey if you don't live out that way so I'm sure Chinatown will have most of your needs.
K. T.
Great supermarket with lots of products.
B. L.
Well stocked right after Christmas and before New year. They have split the store to help with social distancing and have sanitising stations.

Matthew was very helpful and knew a lot about what I was looking for. A good employee and a great asset to the place. Will be back!
K. S.
Good choice, very organised and keep to the Covid rules. I enjoy getting vegetarian oriental food.
l. M.
Good car park. Lifts to the shop and restaraunt. Big place with lots of produce. Also can buy in bulk.
C. N.
Many good products but staff are unhelpful
R. K.
Very much needed store in North London to specialise in Oriental/Asian Cuisine, Fresh Food, Seasoning, Spices, Sauces, Pickles, Condiments, Fruits, Vegs, Snacks, Fresh Fish, Frozen Fish, King Prawns, Frozen snacks, Samosas, Fresh Noodles, Fresh produce, Kitchen Cutlery and Utensils, large sacks of many types of Rice, drinks, canned drinks,...
Dried foods and snacks, egg/rice noodles/vermicelli,...
Payment by cash or card.
Outdoor and indoor parking in basement with large lifts.
Premises suits wheelchair users.
The place can get very busy during busy periods, but there are many tills and the wait is actually very little. Good fast service at tills.
Helpful staff always.
Many Trolleys available both normal size and large size. Free. No coin.
Suits businesses and large family shopping.
English language spoken well by all staffs.
Very clean premises and little or no odours. Some areas are Air Conditioned.
A busy and popular restaurant is at premises too, but secluded in separate area.
Free basic newspapers about Asian countries, Oriental countries, Philippines,...
Outdoor parking can be difficult to park car in tight parking bay spaces, and so better parking in basement and using good large lifts.
I recall seeing a few disabled bays.
Location & Roads - Easy road entrance and exit, and good location at Staples Corner. Check the road map to find your easiest access route. Once you know, it's simple to get there.
(Access via North bound A5 Edgeware Road, take slip road down towards Staples Corner roundabout, on slip road turn left into Humber Road.
Or, Access via west bound North Circular Road A406. From Staples Corner roundabout take slip road west bound A406 and turn left near end of slip road to enter Coles Green Road, drive up, pass traffic lights, then soon as the road inclines turn left into Humber road. Cautious. Narrow entrance. Then 30 seconds drive up to Wing Yip ...).
Watch out for bus lanes and remember never drive along a bus lane as the CCTV camera will catch you always.

The best Chinese supermarket in London.
L. W.
Great dim sum range.
L. P.
Easy parking and very quiet. Not bad selection but prices vary a lot between brands so watch what you're buying. Staff efficient and helpful .
H. R.
The whole food from China, great 👍
C. L.
A very good chinese supermarket which stocks plenty of asian based produce, for retail and restaurants. Also in the huge superstore it has 1 big restaurant and 1 cafe which dishes out good and reasonable priced food. Not only that there are other smaller shops in its building also. Parking is abundant, outside and underground. As its away from central London traffic is less but Staples Corner can be busy at times.
S. M. D.
Very nice and clean super store.
S. K.
Very spacious. Well lit. Good stock of South East Asian ingredients which isbthe main reason I go there. There is also fresh seafood. They do wholesale and retail. Prices competitive. There is another Chinese supermarket 3 miles north next to Morrisons supermarket Colindale called Loon Fung but they are slightly more expensive.
D. H.
Wing Yip has a very good range of Chinese and Oriental food and other items at good prices. Two car parks means easy and quick parking. A large Chinese restaurant adjoins the Supermarket.
K. F.
Good amount of parking. Cafe reindeer attached is great! Good overall stock of groceries, but not the best variety.
E. L.
Hugh place in London. Lots of parking spaces. I bought some roast duck, finely chopped 22GBP each. It is delicious. However Loon Fong Chinese Supermarket is cheaper, taste just as nice for 20GBP. But i can't say anything about other goods because i have no idea. Compared to Oxford, it is much cheaper.
Z. A.
Good quality dim sum
O. W.
Been coming here for years for our supplies. Clean, well lit, and good parking/facilities. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Keep up the good work guys!
T. H.
Good selection of Oriental foods. Also fishmongers, and frozen fish and seafood. Some fresh meat. Staff friendly and helpful but management not so. Expensive.
A. K. (.
Great varieties of Asian food, reasonably priced. Some of the staff however are Super rude and impatient, in particular in the bakery.
F. B.
fantastic store with all sorts of Asian goodies, very well stocked
M. J. M.
Always kind and helpful staff, with pretty much anything you'll ever need for Asian and Oriental cuisine. Worth a visit!
D. M.
Has a great variety of interesting eastern produce and their fresh fish counter is second to none.
S. D.
Great food but be prepared to wait if you arrive at the wrong time. Menu is nice and easy, with pictures for each dish. Paying can be slow because there isn't enough staff who can take payment.
L. F.
There is a huge selection of Asian indredients. They sell everything from raw meats and fish to spices and frozen foods. You can find most of the commonly used ingredients here. There are 2 restaurants connected to the supermarket so you can stop for lunch/dinner.
T. I.
A Chinese grocery emporium with many choices of Asian food and beverage. Quite a large size you could stroll for half a day to find your favourite items. Will revisit in near future.
C. S.
Great choice of Chinese and oriental food & drinks.
I was like a child in a sweet shop!
L. B.
Best place for Chinese food in UK. I come all the way from Inverness in Scotland at least three times a year just to have some great Chinese food ... it's that good. Staff are very friendly and helpful too.
A. A.
Don't like the new entry, whereby, one has go down through the underground car park, before coming up to the store. Yes, you are trying to help with the now social contacting protocol but this system or lay out is a real problem or pain. Please re-work it out. Thanks.
H. S.
a very wide range of Far Eastern foods, very helpful and cooperative staff
K. M. L.
No clear signs of entry. Aisles were 1 way which is good but not enough space for social distancing. Hard to find goods if not used to the store as no overhead signs
ا. ا. م. ا.
Excellent product even all is expensive but if I buy a heavy think so I can carry by trolley to car park and the free car parking a lot of space in there.
M. G.
Love this place as you can find any Asian spice or food you want and they come in whole packs or single packs. Plus there is a bakery which does great cakes ❤️
A. K.
Great store for all your Asian foods and spices. Staff are very friendly and there are two very good Chinese restaurants on site.
P. C.
Great Chinese/Asian supermarket. Excellent variety of produce and reasonably priced considering much of the produce is imported. According to my girlfriend the durian was excellent!
s. m.
Pleasant shop all you need for cooking Chinese food or just adding little spice to your cooking.....l bought a Chinese clay cooking pot there and made a lovely soup...😊
L. A. L. B.
This supermarket is awesome!!! Very interesting Chinese things and also they have a section in where you can find products from other Asian countries. Recommended!
D. K.
Massive sort of warehouse type of market. No peanuts in shells though :(
T.
Good variety of vegetarian food. Value for money. Would definitely visit again.
M. t.
Great selection of not only oriental food but also utensils in great price. Helpful staff. Definitely would recommend
K. C.

J. W.
Huge oriental market and cafe. Prices reasonable.
S. A. N.
... well stocked. our grocery stop for all asian oriental products. reindeer cafe next to it offers authentic Hongkong dishes. Plenty of parking spaces. Loved it.
D. Z.
Our favourite Asian store, just minutes away from central..but we are from Neasden so its basically next door!
A. B.
It is what it is. Good selection of everyday asian items. Some prices listed ex vat.fair amount of underground parking.
A. T.
Great supermarket. It has an extensive selection and a cash and carry section for those of you who like buying things in bulk. Lots of parking space.
M. B.
Not as cheap as it used to be, also the car park gets very full on the weekends.
G. Y.
My go-to spot for bulk-buy Chinese goods. The largest range of noodles, asian beers and general condiments in North west london. If you fancy spoiling yourself on fresh fish, their lobster is great value for money.
S. C.
Obviously great for your Asian food supplies but also excellent in fresh fish supply and meat , especially pork in large quantities.
E. J.
Asian supermarket with huge variety & good prices, own parking but high load traffic zone. Suggest a customer aff card & mailing marketing to get offers daily.
r. a.
Friendly helpful staff, nice selection of asian products
H. B. 0.
My hang out place for shopping and food. Never fails .. I wish the vegetables are fully stock but .. covid 19, they can only do their best.
R. D.
Great choice, efficient staff, parking space available most of the time without waiting. They have adapted the store to be covid safe.
R. S.
It's great to have a Wing Yip in this part of London, it's a big store with a good wide selection of products including some fresh groceries. Staff are friendly and often will pack your shopping.
A. R.
Bloody BRILLIANT! Suppliers to the restuarant trade who sell to the public. Tremendous selection, including live crab, lobster, tilapia, carp and eels...also wicked clams etc. Great fresh fruit upto and including Durian and an amazing choice of cookware at about a quarter the price of silly John Lewis branded nonsense. Just the best shopping experience. Do not miss the Reindeer Cafe as well. Meant for restauanteurs, it is more authentic than most of Soho!
M. W.
Excellent place for Asian food. Long way to travel for me but when I am down that are I always go to top up all my Chinese food needs.
E. N.
Huge Chinese supermarket. A lot of rare Chinese veg which are not available in Tesco Extra or Waitrose. A lot of ingredients and seasonings if Japan, Korea and Thailand as well.
n. s.
Excellent place to shop for chinese groceries. Helpful floor staff. Great parking facilities and no wonky trolleys!!!
a. l.

Very rude staff. I used a credit card to pay which did not work as they claimed that their machine does not work. They staff got very annoyed with me and started to grumble and told me off in a school children like manner for ages. Always seem to get terrible service from Chinese stores in the UK.
Everything else was very good including the items on sale.
T. W.
Good stocks not only Chinese food but also Korean and Japanese items available. Well-lit inside the store and easy to shop.
M. F.
Excellent, my favourite Chinese
C. M.
The place to buy your Chinese supplies.... fresh or dried its all here. And if you want bulk here is the place to go. I even named our pet duck yip after the store.
Y. S.
Workers are very helpful. 5 stars. But the Company deserves 1 star if not for its staff. No calendar this year as per service counter. At the till, the staff gives 1 desk calendar when asked,
printed by its supplier Lee Kum Kee. Only 1 calendar no matter how much a customer spends. Management's decision. Cheapo and stingy company. Every one was complaining. Bad experience.
U. 1.
Good like all time 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀boba tea😳😳
S. “. A.
I could spend a day in this Chinese supermarket only went in for a few bits ended up spending more than I wanted. Excellent choices and variety of foods.

Wow, what an avenue of delights! Definitely the place to go in NW London for any Chinese treats or staples
J. L.

S. M.
Significant Asian supermarket and probably stocks any food or ingredient required. Service and staff very good. Two on site restaurants enhance visit. Plenty of site parking.

Excellent place to shop for chinese groceries. Helpful floor staff. Great parking facilities and no wonky trolleys!!!
P. C. P.
All the China and Asia that you need is really there.
A. O.
I have been visiting this store for many years...most of what you need is here. Fresh fish and cupboard items. I would like to give more than 3 stars but no one seems to speak English and their customers service is non existent. Don't expect anybody to help you find items.
A. A.
Don't like the new entry, whereby, one has go down through the underground car park, before coming up to the store. Yes, you are trying to help with the now social contacting protocol but this system or lay out is a real problem or pain. Please re-work it out. Thanks.

A company of your calibre, surely you have the resources to update your trading hours on Easter Sunday
T. N.
Great, love the Reindeer cafe
R. P.
Excellent place to get all your oriental food ingredients at very reasonable prices
K. P.
