my experience here is always a hit and miss, The shop itself has excellent products and produces fresh bread. The butcher section is very clean and the meat produce is always fresh (although can be a little pricey unless you shop on the weekends when they have slightly discounted prices on the lamb shoulders) It is convenient to have this store on lordship lane as you can purchase most of your items from here to cook a nice home made meal. The only criticism which I have is the unpleasant staff members. The butcher is rude and does not ever smile even if you are a regular customer, There is huge language barrier and when they do not understand you they will talk about you in there own language whilst you stand there confused. The girls on the till are usually talking amongst themselves again in their own language and do not build any rapport with their customers and this can build a barrier and a bad experience for customers. I suffer from mental health and a bad experience or rude staff can sometimes really effect my mood. Good etiquette and customer service should be mandatory if you are in a customer facing role. The other thing is that the shopping isles could be a hazard as its extremely difficult to manoeuvre wheelchair/pushchair. I often do see the owners working here and they are really friendly and polite but I do feel that this store has the potential to be even better with the correct staff training /or discipline being added. Have a staff meeting show your staff the reviews and set them goals and objectives.
