N. M.Best vegan pie's on the market. My favourite is the chicken katsu curry, followed closely by the steak and ale pie. They also sell a variety of other items such as their pizza range which is very tasty but can feel a little small. So far I have placed 4 orders and have arrived in a timely fashion, however the delivery window can vary quite a bit. I've had an order arrive in 72 hours but I have also had an order arrive a week later.
J. C.Their products are AMAZING and extremely tasty. Ordered two pies, two pizzas, some cheesy nooch & and some blue. Produce arrived promptly after receiving e-mail to confirm dispatch. Was still cold from the special gel packaging. Highly recommend even if you're not vegan!

FOOD:
We tried the Steak and Ale because seemed like the classic choice along with the all day breakfast pie. They were both delectable, the seitan was on the chewier side for the Steak and Ale and was well flavored! Along with each pie we also got the bacon mac n'cheese and cheese fries -- it was SO GOOD! They're cheese is very creamy and the bacon was well seasoned and all paired really nicely.
Dessert: We got both the dark chocolate pretzel and peanut butter mud pies, which didn't really fill our fancy. We would probably not get them if we were to ever return. The chocolate cake was on the drier side and there was not much flavor, even if it was considered a darker chocolate cake, but it is vegan and gluten-free, so unfortunately cannot provide that perspective.
Overall, cute atmosphere, great savory selections, but would probably pass on dessert. S/O to Young Vegans for making it possible to have the crew enjoy an English classic with a modern, friendly twist!

D. M.Young Vegans Pie Shop is a real find for vegans looking for a taste of traditional London food. We both had a steak and ale seitan pie with mash and it was absolutely excellent. The gravy it's served with is lovely too. The staff were so lovely and friendly and the portion size was huge. The only things missing for me were some vegan liquor and some vinegar but that's just nitpicking.

We went for ‘steak and ale’ which was so good, I wouldn’t have been able to tell it wasn’t meat if I wasn’t told. I got a combo deal with the pie, a drink and 2 sides for £10 which I felt was a good price. The service was lovely and food didn’t take long to arrive. There wasn’t really any seating inside and but there’s plenty outside however not sure where you would eat if it was raining.

The best one is the cheeseburger pie by far for me. The gravy is amazing and so is the mash. If you like peas then please try the minty ones. Honestly just so good here. We’re from the midlands and we were so happy when we found out we could take frozen pies home for I think £3 each. They taste the exact same once we cook them at home out the freezer. Cooking instructions are given by the lady on each pie lid. Just love this place so much, the music they play is incredible too.

Succulent vegan chicken cooked in marinara sauce and topped with their own cheese. My sides were mashed potato and minted peas. The food was hot, lovely and tasty. The service was great and I highly recommend going here when in Camden.

Great pies, mash, cheesy chips etc. The minty peas were a bit over cooked, and the seitan chunks could be smaller (for taking on flavor and for the ease of eating with a fork).
Overall though, well worth the trip!
V. S.As I am spoilt for vegan choice in Camden Market I just got a dessert from here. I tried the chocolate peanut butter mud pie on recommendation from the staff. It was still warm! It looked and tasted amazing. I would definitely have this again, and recommend this. Quick service and they take American Express too.

The shop is a bit small but its decorated in a nice way making it coasy and looking neat. Located just of Lock Market. Turn left past the food market seating area.

I believe this gave us an awesome experience of what pie is supposed to be like, and definitely introduced us to a new comfort food. Couldn't figure out how they make their cheese. The chikn parm pie, truthfully tasted like chikn parm (I'd recommend getting it without the gravy ontop because the flavour of the pie alone is so good it doesn't need any extra.) Staff was friendly. And other HUGE bonus was the price. A pie, 2 sides, a soda AND dessert for 11 quid. I will be back here many times, and I reccomend you do the same

There isn't much seating inside but there is communal seating outside as well.

One of the best chocolate chip cookies I've tasted (although wasn't a big fan of the peanut butter pie which was a bit grainy, but that is just my preference, as I like crunchy or creamy desserts). Seriously the dead barbie pizza is incredible, I burnt two pieces of the pizza by leaving them in the cooker too long and it was still some of the best pizza i've ever had. The mozzarella that they make and use is sooooo good, honestly could just eat it at is. Also had some of the pies which were amazing, the mac and cheese pie is godly. Everyone should be buying their pies and pizza from here. Overall, Young Vegans is one of my best online purchases. If i could rate them out of 100 instead of 5 it would be full marks.

M.My friend and I didn't like the taste nor the texture of the pies (we took a beef pie and chicken pie if I remember well) but we're not used to meat pies so maybe it's just that we don't like meat pies in general, not this specific vegan version. When I look at all the good comments about this shop, I wanna say give it a try anyway, you'll probably have a more enjoyable experience than ours !

s.I have heard of Young Vegans a lot but didn't really know it was a pie shop until recently.
When I found out that they served Vegan pie and mash decided to give it a visit.
The shop is easily missed because it is right at the back but the good thing is that they have a few seats inside and there are tables outside.
Seitan and ale or the Aussie vegan mince pies were my main choices because pies with gravy are usually beef.
According to their insta, the steak is seitan while the Aussie vegan uses mince.
Unfortunately when it was my turn to order, both the labels for these pies were turned over so I thought they would not refill them so I ordered the Cheeseburger instead.
Other pies that were available were the Chick'n Katsu, Chick'n parmigiana and the Sweet and sour chick'n.
When I got my pie, it was satisfying to see it drizzled with gravy and topped crisp onions.
Instead of mash, I had mac and cheese.
Although it was not the pie of my choice, the cheeseburger was actually delicious because of the flavours like gherkin and cheese inside but the seitan beef patty let it down a bit because the texture was rather rubbery as it was all compacted into one patty.
The vegan mac and cheese was quite comforting in the sense that it was creamy and cheesy yet light.
It was good that they serve tea but it wasn't very full.
After I finished my pie, decided to go in and look at the menu again but to my surprise the pies were refilled so I was a bit gutted that they didn't tell people they were going to be refilled.
Saying that the cheeseburger pie wasn't bad so I didn't make a wrong choice.
To summarize, I would definitely recommend their pies and the flavours really blend in nicely as they have taken popular pub favourites like sweet and sour and put it in a pie.

Veganism has spread across the UK at an incredible rate over the last few years, but it's Camden Market in London where it has been most noticeable.
It began with one of London's first Vegan Restaurant InSpiral Lounge just opposite the markets entrance over a decade ago but has since boasted a Vegan Burger (V Burger), a Vegan Mexican (Club Mexicana) a Vegan Falafel (Magic Falafel) Vegan Pancakes (Osu Cocunuts) and Vegan Fry Ups (Hashgreen) in recent times.
But the arrival of Young Vegans has definitely filled a gap for the Vegan eaters in London, but not just them, as this is the perfect offering for any Pie & Mash fan.
Pie & Mash is archetypically London and whilst many of the traditional eateries like Goddards of Greenwich, offer a Vegan option, nobody has ever offered a dedicated outlet to the delicacy before.
Starting it's life as a stall and a regular attendees of Vegan Festivals since 2016, Marco & Carla's Young Vegan's pies have been perfected over a year and the taste is in the eating.
I went on opening day, and had Seitan & Ale Pie (the vegan equivalent of Steak & Ale) the texture, look and smell of the seitan, was amazing and did a brilliant job of substituting meat for meat lovers.
Seitan having a distinct taste all of it's own, never tastes like what it's replacing but the aroma of gravy and ale, would convert the hardest meat-eating die hard.
A perfectly creamy mash accompanied and the gravy, is so good it's hard to believe it's been derived from something vegetable.
The £10 meal deal I ordered, included a drink (Pukka Vanilla Chai tea), desert (a brilliant Gluten Free Peanut Butter & chocolate brownie) as well as the pie (though the Sweet Potato is for the Gluten Free amongst us), mash & gravy with fried onions and Rocket.
Once a Market store cupboard a few doors up from the legendary Nitrogen Ice-Cream Parlour Chin-Chin Labs (the Vegan sign high above it's entrance marking its location from afar), this rough and ready conversion just adds to the stellar experience, as It feels totally unique in a Market that has a corporate feel about it.
Whether Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free or an avid Meat eater, if you love Pie & Mash, this is definitely a place well worth your time to search out and visit.
This meat eater would happily forgo the product if all Vegan places were this good.
