Amazing with every single order i place, not only is everything amazingly priced, produce is so fresh. quality of meat is high but delivery staff and service overall is astonishing. placed one of many orders last night at 8pm and with being based in manchester got it delivered as i type this. the service they provide is astronomical and every member of staff ive spoken to are so lovely and helpful. would give more stars if i could. thank you so much!

Shop here for most of my chinese groceries.. very good for stock and prices are competitive. Staff at warehouse , fresh meat & fish counter are really friendly and ladies at tills are nice. If you ever need help with taking shopping to car the guys are just so accommodating. It's not 5 stars because I've experienced staff the the wholesale side and the ladies there are impolite and self important.

Best Asian supermarket this side of Manchester. Have a great stock of East Asian food, including a growing stock of Korean and Japanese products. The hot food counter and butchers counter are great. Love the fresh buns they have delivered, and would definitely recommend trying the milk tea too!

Hi I visited your store on Saturday 19th at around 1.30. I was with my nephew and mother as we was looking for a birthday gift for my brothers 40th as he I always in your store and passionate about cooking. We picked an Earthern cooking pot and a few other things .We was unsure about how to use the cooking pot so the staff told us all the information we needed .I would just like to say they were fabulous and nothing was to much trouble for them. so helpful and it was a pleasure to shop there, could of chatted to them all day . I love this supermarket. Not only can you pick up all your fresh vegetables and spices, they always have plenty of Tofu in stock, far cheaper than you'll find at any of the big names. Plus, they also sell the Salt and Pepper seasoning. Very tasty :-)

It's a staple to go here with the family. I go with my mum every month or so to stock up on all sorts of produce, it is a wholesaler so you can often get items like instant noodles by the box. They've spent forever renovating their fish and meat section and I'm glad they've opened up again! It has a fabulous restaurant that's upstairs serving lunch and dinner. I've ordered there before for takeaway and the food is just as delicious.

Fantastic Chinese supermarket, I've been going for years, Always have everything I'm looking for. As a passionate foodie, always searching out new Asian recipes, Chi Yip, never fails for hard to find ingredients. The recently reopened butchers counter also has brilliantly priced meats, eg spare ribs, chicken wings mince, chicken breast, at a fraction of supermarket prices. They also have hot prepared treats, such as belly pork, and crispy duck. The staff are also really friendly and helpful. Best in the area, highly recommended.

Decent Chinese cash and carry as well as restaurant. It is much better by the fact that it is outside of Manchester city centre where it is now full of one way traffic systems as well as bus lanes that not even Google maps or Waze can keep up with. Unless you really want to go to Chinatown this is a very good alternative with competitive pricing on goods. The food isn't bad either at its restaurant.

Chi Yip is a supermarket for Chinese, groceries, goods, utensils, upstairs is Ocean Treasure Restaurant, which between the hours of 12pm to 2pm is available for a good value business lunch, (rest of the time menu is full price)
