This is a good size small market, it's clean and easy to get around. There's all your usual products on sale, tinned stuff, chilled and frozen, fresh fruit and vegetables and a tabacconist and drinks stall. The staff seem friendly enough. It's a bit expensive though but it's handy and on the main street surrounded by other shops and restaurants.

The Most Wonderful Staff. But the prices are more representative of the student population than the actual Everyday customers who live in the immediate vicinity. CO OP is over priced which makes no sense when you look at their backstory a Cooperative is meant to be fairer for the people it's meant too serve. Peace Love Light And Laughter 🙏🏼

Called in to pickup a sandwich for dinner. People tell me that they find it pricey in here, but I thought it was reasonable. I don't make it a habit to come in any of these shops, because I usually bring sandwiches in from home. But again clean and tidy, plenty of sandwiches to choose from. Staff seemed helpful enough.

Good and friendly local store. Prices are reasonable but a good selection. Excellent pastries...if they're not all gone by the time you get there. Check out the wonderful Marcus Rashford mural across the road.

Convenient but expensive unless on offer or reduced...the 5 gbp meal offers are good I struggle with why the basics of milk and bread are generally expensive in a supposedly community focused store...versus Aldi & Lidl...

Generally love co-op as products tend to be of better quality thus the price for all of you plebs complaining. There seems to be a staffing issue as there never seems to be enough staff on floor or serving. This obviously takes a toll on them and they can be quite short tempered at times, can't fault them though.

Am regular customer, so difficult to be critical. Location of items always the same which suits me. Helpful staff. As member take advantage of weekly offers which amounts to a £1 off on essentials-milk, veg. Have good wine discounts from time to time. Large car park if needed. They sell Wall's ice-cream (ugh!), advertised so only 4 stars. Outside clock kept on time nowadays as 2 other clocks (Sainsbury's and the local church) in competition?!

Local to me, friendly staff also has the self checkout. Become a member and get money off certain products, and get free money for yourself and you can choose a local charity to receive free money too.😉

Newly refurbished. It was needed! Self-serve has been sorted out which means no more arguments with a Customer Assistant. Use of space and layout is so much better for staff and for customers. Great range of products too.

Quite a big Co-op compared to others. Lots of good produce. The salad bags were a bit wilted. But other than that all good. Staff were friendly and efficient. Nice clean store.
