This is a real treat for a Sunday visit. Exactly the kind if thing I love. A wonderful range of stalls offering a wide variety of products and all of really highy standard. Spent some time talking to a young French man about his range of candles and the classes he offers (which I will be taking). Wonderful food stalls, particularly the pie stall and the stall offering barbecued sandwiches. An absolute must for a visit!

What a brilliant little market in Stevenson Square, every stall is a mini haven for arts and crafts, food and alcohol. I love these markets because of their individuality, its that saying "I made this" that makes these markets so special. Well worth going to one if you want something unique and not mass produced. I have been to the one in the Northern Quarter and the Lowry. If you want something different to buy come here...

The Northern Quarter Makers Market was very much like it always is, or as the West Didsbury one is (they greatly overlap.) My wife and I have been going to both of these for a few years. Customer relations and service allow some personal touch at many stalls. It is a warming aspect, that in itself encourages repeat visits. As for the products: quality, imagination and value are high. In all, all these markets are worthwhile visiting.

Much smaller than I thought. It could feature more products from the shops in the area because it has lovely crafts shops, indie street boutiques and cafes.

Lots of interesting stalls, especially if you have an interest in Manchester. Great food stalls as well. Good friendly atmosphere pity it's only once a month. Next one is the 2nd Saturday in October nicely close to Christmas.

The makers market is fun with a good variety of stalls selling diverse products. Good place to find an unusual present, street food or just to watch people. Not for you if you don't like crowds.

I do love a market but there wasn't enough food stalls selling food to go or stuff to take home for the pantry. The baked item I purchased for breakfast was only average but I think I picked the wrong flavour.

Standard chic (slightly pretentious) market , selling overpriced art , trinkets ,food and booze. Well worth a look for an hour or so though . Keep your belongings close , beware of the local ne'er do wells !

The best part of my weekend is the market, regardless of the location, all the salespeople are very kindness and friendly and the organization is very well done.

Great stall called BBQ there. They do the best grilled pulled meat sandwiches I've ever tasted!
