Staff on shop floor and tills always helpful and efficient security and welcome staff always friendly. I almost always find what I need in store. Great range of vegan products!!. Kiosk and customer service desk needs more adequate signage and maybe the staff there could do with an extra break they often seem stressed & grumpy which can put a dampner on the shopping "experience".

good supermarket generally for everyday grocery, nothing more. I heard some bad experiences from other customers but not experienced anything too bad myself other than the security not being very gentle, staff are very helpful and if i ask for the location of something they usually take me all the way to the exact location instead of describing where to find the thing i'm asking for

Wide selection of items of what you'd expect from a superstore. From food, toiletries, clothes, toys, stationary, electrical goods etc. Including a 'Timpson' shoe repair and key cut shop outside.

The staff are really helpful and very professional and polite. However the security gaurds and use the words loosely are possabley the worst I've seen in thirty years they spent the hole time following and using CCTV TO FOLLOW ME all round the store for close on an hour to which I personally watched 9 shoplifters putting items in pocket and in bags and one case in there kids pocket, Its a stupidity is only out shadowed by the total arrogance. Tescos you really need to put these morrons to work on a school crossing or pushing trolleys in your carpark

Great supermarket, phone shop, pharmacy, opticians and travel money kiosk all under on roof with scan and shop option which is great for keeping track of the cost and never seems to have any queues making check out fast and easy

It seems to have got a little better, it could be because they gave us a little extra choice over Christmas then it will go back to not many choices atall later. We are in tier four now so I have to shield as I'm high risk so my husband does it all then tells me all about it haha, he,s an angel. It's a year in March since I went in a shop, I did miss it, now I don't want to go in one, take care everyone.

As with all Tesco's they are what they are. Tesco in Altrincham has everything except Petrol which is a pain having to go elsewhere for fuel. The store is well stocked and a nice touch with the fruit at the start, so I have two girls that are happy to munch on fruit which saves the usual "I'm hungry" while walking round the sweet aisles. I have not had any issues while shopping here and parking has never been an issues, which maybe because I go early mornings or during work days which are not peak times. The store is well laid out but it's a tesco store so what do you expect.

Altrincham Road Tesco Extra is a great place to do your weekly shopping and more. It is open 24 hours has a large car park and a Tesco Petrol Station attached where you can purchase your fuel at cheaper rates. The store is clean, well laid out and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is plenty of space between the aisles so you can move around the store easily. Being an Extra you will find a host of household products along with clothes to choose from if you wish. Fresh vegetables, meats, fish, dairy are all on show at reasonable prices. Wine, beers and spirits are well displayed along with soft drinks and crisps. Being a very large supermarket you will find what you need for all your shopping atat this store.

Tesco is a neat spacious place with friendly staff, who treat customers politely and are very helpful. There is a costumer service. There are good products of different brands which are well arranged. All aisles, which include vegetables, foods, cans, meat, dairy, frozen products, pets foods, drinks, flowers, and also seasonal shops, have been organized superb. There are petrol station in car parking and an ATM in front of shopping centre. When you enter the shopping, yoy can see an opticians at the left hand and a cafe at the right hand and also self check in systems in front of yourself. On the left hand of the place there are stationary, clothes, party accesories, home bargains. There is a seasonal aisle and it has been changed up to ceremonies. You can find offered good-quality goods in the middle aisle. There is public toilet and also 3 big shopping trolly cabbin to lock them. There is a pharmacy and a bakary ,in which there are delicious and fresh breads, cakes and so on, at the end of salon.

the place is alright, however after using scan as you shop numerous times, every time i am selected for a random security check, it doesn't feel random with it happening on every occasion its done but still find it quicker than self serve or actually having to speak with people so all is good :)

Very friendly staff and was surprised to see a member staff actually sat at a checkout before 7am. Tesco should make this a company policy as with most stores it's always down to individual members of staff which make a store, just a shame tesco has been let down so many times in various stores across the UK. Will definitely visit the Baguley store again.

The Tesco petrol station was 115.9p per litre yesterday almost 5p cheaper than the big petrol brands in and around Manchester. You can pay by card (pay at pump) but not sure if it's 24 hours.

I vist Tesco Baguley Extra most days. It is my go to supermarket, for a couple of reasons. Unlike ASDA in Wythenshawe, it has a fishmongers, and cheese deli, also an olive bar, which is great for people who love olives, myself included. The petrol across the way from the store is also the cheapest in Wythenshawe, not by a lot, but it really does add up. The staff are in short supply sometimes though, for example, I wanted some red wine for cooking a shepherds pie and didn't know which wine would compliment the lamb the best. They have brief guides on the labels, but it would've been a great touch to have someone explain the difference between wines etc. I would recommend the store, its also a bonus if you have a club card, which is free. Even if you don't shop there often, its great to have when you do. If they had more staff around the store to help with customer queries, I would have rated the store 5*. In terms of staff presence on the floor, ASDA trump Tesco.

Generally has what I want, whether that be grocery shopping, tech or hardware. Don't usually have to queue for longer than a minute and the staff are really friendly. Pharmacy, Phone Shop, opticians & Bureau de change are all contained within store.
