Firstly, appreciative maintenance of the shop which is very attractive. Maybe, it's the only store in the area and also over the north of England with a wide Verity of products in reasonable prices. Coming to the food items I remember the quote "Laughter is brightest in the place where food is good" that I recommend the store experience which you'll never forget to visit again. This store with a very hygienic and fresh meat section of some people's favourite section and even for me. Finally very friendly staff, really appreciate them all for all the help they do. I admire to give my review on the store. Thank you all.

Popped in today 8 January 2023 for 1 kg blanched peanuts and 0.75 kg raw cashew nuts. The big bags are so much better value if you use quite a lot and of course you can always freshly roast, chop or crush small quantities as required. Got some galangal which very few shops in Newcastle seem to sell and 2 lovely avocados perfect for breafast tomorrow. Everything is as good as my review below and the range of produce is slightly bigger cos the store has expanded a little. The best range of fresh and dried stuff around here and so happy to help you find what you are looking for. My preferred source of 'type of food I like' since I came to Newcastle in 1976!! And I'm still delighted to be coming back. Thanks so much :-)

What a fantastic place!!! I first shopped here as a student around 20yrs ago, unfortunately I only get to visit occasionally now. They stock an amazing range of Eastern foods including fresh vegetables, oils, spices, grains, sauces & fresh meat from the in store butchers (they will prepare any cut you you like, for example I really like chicken breast with skin on, something I find very difficult to get in a regular supermarket)..... you name it they got it. I love the samosas and bhaji's available warm from the checkout😋😋😋, the baklava is pretty good to. If your a foodie you've really got to go😀😀

I love visiting this place, a true pleasure. Such an Aladdin's Cave of all things relating to Asian cuisine. I make it my first stop when I'm cooking a curry etc. Virtually guaranteed to find what I'm after. Fresh meat, fish and vegetables at the back of the shop, everything else round to the left. good place to get all the Indian groceries veggies, pulses,etc etc .. The meat section some times have good lamb and some times have very old stock .. One thing to keep eye is on the till while billing is done for all the items that don’t scan these guys tend to add an extra amounts as per their wish so be mindful and validate what ever is entered and even after the billing is done .. It happened to be 4 to 5 which i think was not don’t by mistake ..

I rang the shop up for Bitter Melon the Man on the phone started to tell me how it works for diabetes get advice. On visiting the shop the staff where so helpfull and the Man i spoke to on the phone was so nice he him self said he was diabetic for 15 years he suggested a drink to take aswell which i bought on reading up online it was in fact very good for lowering blood sugar levels without medication. The shop it's self was like Aladins cave things from all over world i will be bk as a regular customer as they have so many things all under one roof and know what they are talking about very helpful :)

Best Asian store in newcastle, love the samosa & onion bhaji so yummy. They also have halal butchery corner, all Indian, pakistani, african vegtables are also available such as yummy juicy fresh palntin, matoki, yam yummy yum. Staff is always friendly & helpfull, clean and neat butcher area. Also have frozen fish, prawns on sale. Dry fish, including anchovy and some other varietes are also available. Fresh fruit in store too. Plantin banana chips are also sold in store. Overall supper store. Very neat and clean shop supper friendly staff.👍 Still great store for your weekly shopping👍

Great nice and cleanest shop in Newcastle upon tyne. Large variety of South Indian, Asian, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, African food, veg flours are sold here. Nice clean butchers, halal meat, Goat meat is also sold here. Hard chicken(desi chicken) is available in store during the weak. Variety of indian veggies and flours are sold in store. Helpfull friendly staff on tills and at Butcherside.
