I visited the café with my mum for some lunch and we were pleasantly surprised with the food! We both had the toasties - I had cheese and ham and my mum had the tuna one - both were really tasty! we both had a frappe too, I had the chocolate colin the caterpillar one which was really nice (and looked very cute too!) would definitely eat here again.

I regularly head to the food section in M&S and it's always good. Yes, it's slightly more pricier than other stores in town, but it's a far better quality of product you are getting quite honestly, and so, like most things in life, you get what you pay for. Me personally, I'd sooner pay more money and have better/tastier grub, hence I head here instead of elsewhere.

I always enjoy shopping at M & S! I have 6 pairs of cut offs that are incredible & wash beautifully! I buy good quality food that is always delicious! My underwear is M & S as is our bedding! I buy lots of my husbands clothes here too! What would we do without M & S! Thank you x

A very nice Marks and Spencer. Although smaller than most of their stores it has a good supply of everything, it is clean, pleasant and spacious with ample car parking space. It also has a nice cafe. I usually order online any clothes I want and the free delivery via the store has always been extremely efficient.

Such a pleasure to shop at M & S. I just wish you had Big & Tall in store. You only seem to go up to size 42/44 in trousers, jogging bottoms & shorts.

I went in spontaneously to look round the food hall after watching the adverts recently. The food was amazing, the staff were rude and treated me like some lesser being. I was polite and dressed similarly to the other customers but I was amazed at the tone of voice. Happily I discovered they were equally rude to the next customer! Shop with earphones and get the best of M&S!

Just been to pickup our Christmas food order of several items. The system of pre-ordering worked well. Our order was ready on time and all the items ordered were in excellent condition. We picked up the order smoothly and easily. The staff involved were pleasant and helpful. Will do this again next year.

Marks and Spencer have been around forever and keep reinventing themselves to keep up with the latest trends in fashion. There is a good range of clothes for all ages, with a very good children's range. There is a great cafe there too which is always popular. The cafe holds good cake and coffee and is very popular all day. The food hall is a good size and has plenty of range of food items. The layout of the store can be frustrating. There used to be a clear way though the women's clothing department but following a "new and improved" layout it's almost a disaster as there seems to be little clothing racks everywhere! This is frustrating if you're pushing a trolley or pushchair and someone else wants to go the same way! Apart from this, it's a good store.

I had to return two pairs of boots yesterday that I bought on Saturday 14th November . I didn’t try them on in the store as I was mindful of sitting touching etc. The lovely lady on the till Jennifer couldn’t have been any friendlier and helpful. And yes we had a laugh about our feet . Thank you M and S on the Isle of Wight . 9 out of 10 for having such a lovely store and wonderful staff... Can we have a bigger store on the island ? Mrs Christine Bingham

Not the best laid out M&S I have been to. Sofa in front of the trolleys means only one person at a time can get to the trolleys. Good range of stuff in the shop though it feels quite tight in places, particularly if you have trouble getting around. Toilets are nowhere near the cafe which was difficult for my elderly mother

Bought a great fitting pair of jeans, good quality as always from M&S and very reasonable at £15. Just wish they would bring back some of their classic every day tops. In particular their thicker knit cotton polo neck jumpers an every day must for the cold weather, dress up or for smart casual. Hurry up my old ones in various colours are beginning to look tired!!

For those who love M&S the Newport Isle of Wight store is really one of their nicest, and I have visited quite a few around the country. It is just the right size, not too big that it becomes tedious to get from the food hall to the men's section without setting off on a trek, and not too small, where you get the feeling that you are not seeing the whole range. It's an ordinary rectangular shapes you don't get lost round nooks and crannies that I have seen in some. The cafe is near the main entrance, perfect for a relaxing coffee and cake either before or after you do the shopping bit. The only downside is that the toilets are at the far opposite corner of the building. The car park is right next to the entrance; although often quite full I have never yet failed to find a vacant space.

I like M&S clothes and cafe is good after busy shopping. You get 2 hrs free parking but disabled with badges have to pay if stay is over 2hrs. It's not free any more.

Reviewing both Shop & Cafe - Didn't find all the staff particularly friendly or or helpful in either, especially enquiring about the reduced items on the trolley where the member of staff whisked them from beneath me without explanation. Lady at checkout was charming I'm happy to say. In the cafe the staff were pretty dour - and didn't explain the process of ordering/waiting for the coffees - Flat White was acceptable but scolding hot@ £2.50 / Lemon drizzle @ £2.75 overpriced and pretty dry for a 'drizzle' cake. Pot of tea @ £1.95 ? not quite enough for 2 cups as not enough milk - overall my impression was one of snooty staff and overpriced goods

Great cafe. M&S products are always high quality, and often not as expensive as one might expect. Worth getting a Sparks card (M&S' take on a loyalty card), as you get some very good discounts and/or deals and offers.

As it is the only shop of any significance on the whole Island, it has an overwhelming responsibility - it is good but would be better if larger - on more than one floor for instance. Shopping on the Island is not a good experience - maybe this is what people want, but I find it disappointing.

I go every week in the vain hope that I can find some clothes to buy. Always come away empty handed. My daughter doesn't even look. My mum gave up. Who are they appealing to with their dull, cheap looking, ill fitting, flower strewn clothing? If it weren't for the food section, unfortunately I would not go through the door

All Depts, Food, Clothing and General Gifts were well presented and tidy. We bought Food Shopping , a Ladies Watch and Beauty Products, today. It was finished off with Cups of Coffee . A small pub in Old Skanklin which has a great selection of real ales. The down side of this pub is the interior size as the majority of the space is given over to a function room. This only leave a small space for people to enjoy drinks
