The co op in Barry Rd is great for me I can get what I need even my weekly shopping and its only a walk away .. There always got what I need and if they sold out its there again the next week . The fresh rolls and bread Great and the pizzas and beers great too for a night in with friends. Keep it up team great ...

Surprised as very well stocked and happy with purchases. Some items a bit expensive but expected. Lovely pretty wide aisles , especially for walkers and trolleys. I like co op very much.

I usually shop there (member) and I genuinely like the shop but this evening I’ve been let down by the shop assistance that I got. I did £30 worth of shopping having a coupon of £2,50 (and this is the least I usually spend there). There were some issues with the coupon and a lady named Kelly “helped” us. Not only she had a very acid tone in her voice but she basically told us “between the lines” that she cannot be bothered to do a refund just to give us £2,50 the worth of the coupon. She repeated that about 4 times to make sure we get the point. It’s not as much about the money as it is about the attitude towards the customers. I do understand we all have bad days but this was sheer laziness… I’m sorry I have to say it. :(

Staff are friendly and helpful, store is clean and well stocked. A great collection of unpackaged and prepackaged produce, plus bakery goodies, foods, household nessesities and there is also a Post Office shop tucked at the back of the shop! So useful! It's got a lot more than you expect from a inner town co-op!

Nice place to shop, stuff is friendly but I'd like to have more vegan options especially with vegan cheese and yogurt. Please can you bring the Oatgurt brand unsweetened . All you have is sweetened versions of yogurt.

Really easy self checkouts, friendly staff, and they have a good selection of goods too. You're also able to order via Starship and have your order delivered by a robot which is pretty awesome.

Robots, robots, robots. How can you not like a robot. Another old store that has been doing its thing for years. Helpful staff and of course the ability to have a robot deliver your good. What's not to love.

A clean and spacious shop with a variety of food and drink available that you would expect from a small convenience store. There is a car park next to it so accessing it can be by foot or by car.

Compact, but surprisingly well stocked. And, I don't know who the DJ was, but they got me singing along with Erasure's 'I love to hate you' at the top of my voice. Much to the embarrassment of my children. I don't usually like Muzak while shopping, but hey, that got me in the Christmas spirit!

I have just returned from this store and i am angry that 4 people were allowed to shop without masks and no staff member ask them to comply with the stores mask policy...i pointed this out to saff member and i was told that they can not make people wear them... supermarkets and shops have a duty of care towards their customers...if people refuse to wear masks then stop them entering the store...simples.. i am work in the care sector and have to be very carefull to protect myself and others...just makes a bad situation more stressful......will not be going back

Good range of store items, ranging from cleaning products to frozen foods. Friendly staff, no one stays at the human cashier desk (feels weird saying that...) but are quick to arrive once there is a customer waiting. Store is kept clean and tidy, staff are always close by if a customer needs assistance. A suggestion* I will make is for the prices to be reduced, but all Co-op's are quite on the pricey range (in comparison to supermarkets).

It's OKAY but strangely it seemed to me to be lacking choice and on some items it was a little overpriced. But it's a convenience store so maybe that's what you get for convenience. Lady at the till had obviously had a bad night and didn't feel as though smiling was part of the job. Not going to be rushing back any time soon.

A very handy local supermarket. It has a range of special offers available every day and a loyalty card scheme as well. The staff are very helpful and will make the effort to assist. There is also a post office at the back. Good for a quick shopping visit.

Use this coop all the time for little shops and emergency bits and bobs, staff are friendly and happy to help. Cash machine outside the front and usually a man sat outside who gives you a friendly heads up if you've parked in the faded disabled spot. Gas and Electric top ups also available here. didn't quite get 5/5 due to some of the younger staff seem to enjoy chatting and joking instead of helping. other than that, great little coop

Open New Years day and was a God send when we needed some items for lunch that day. Even though the staff were working on what was a Bank holiday they still had time to stop and help myself find items. Thanks Co Op.

Use this shop quite regularly always clean well stocked with helpful friendly staff. Has a post office at the back which is a good addition. Cash machine at the front and lots of free parking around the back.

Occasionally wander over to the Barry Road store ever since the 'we care for your community' Co-op closed the Kettering Road store; a store that was doing so badly you often had to queue for up to 5 minutes to be served. The truth is it's a much less pressurised shopping environment than the likes of Morrison's, and many of the products are simply better.

Normally I have a very good experience at the co-op I’ve been going there for years I absolutely love the co-op however when I went in there yesterday there was a man who was doing reductions and he was doing reductions for 20 minutes for some reason I’m pretty sure reductions don’t take that long and then he stopped to talk to a colleague and he was standing in the way so I went around him and tried to social distance from him and he turned round and said you need to social distance he was incredibly rude and obnoxious I don’t know the guys name but he really needs to be spoken to about his Behaviour it’s not acceptable to talk to people like that
