Came in on 05.10.2021 to have look at the Halloween food. Not a large selection but enough for one evening. Was delighted to see some Christmas chocolates and gin! Sale is still on upstairs on 2nd floor (ladies wear, Per Una section). Didn't really look but there are lots of winter coats and boots. This shop is so handy as it is open until 8pm every day (except Sunday).

Always come into the Marks ' cafe and never have a problem until today. Ordered the food and went through the list with the young man to make sure we got everything but he had missed my jacket potato off. I did say to him the bill was too cheap but he said everything was on it. I am sitting at the table currently... My partners jacket potato has arrived... Mine has not been ordered. We were given number 9. I would suggest someone supervises the young man as he got flustered with the order behind me.. And messed that one up too.

My sister is semi disabled and finds it hard to buy clothing. She tried a few things on ,the staff member KAREN then asked if we needed any help/assistance. This lady went above and beyond her duties to get my sister her wedding clothing. We purchased a jacket two tops a pair of trousers. Please note you have a great member of staff. Love this M&S. Huge food court and the biggest lingerie section in the basement. Shout out to Milly in Lingerie who measures my mum for a post-op bra fitting, then helped her order extra of the only bra that now works for her - Milly has the patience of a saint!

Staff was really helpful… the change room was clean and well disinfected after each customer 🙂😷👌 … I am really happy with the experience because to me is really hard to buy something and not by able to try them on before I buy them It happened that I bought 1 pair of trousers from next and I had to change them 3 times so is just losing time to go back to the shop and at the end I had to return them because they didn’t look nice on me 😔

I can advise I can not advise people who are used to eating good food, this is exactly the store that can provide high-quality and very professionally prepared food for both nutritionists and people who like fish meat because there is a very large selection of what you could afford I would not say that this store is expensive many people whom I know They say that this store is expensive is really nothing expensive there, I basically compared the prices of other stores and I will say So the prices are basically one different, but the quality of this store is very high even the fruits that you eat. They are completely different from the fruits that we eat in the same Azalea Baltiysk, they didn’t even stand next to this store, therefore people who are responsible for the quality of this enterprise, I think they are worthy high marks, because the quality of products of fish meat quality is at a high level and the staff who work in this store are also at a high level, Regardless of whether he is old or young, butnot in every store you will find such a good-natured staff who smiles no matter what state or mood the customer is in, so many thanks to the administrator and the staff who are responsible for this institution of success. Without sounding like someone a few generations older than me, I love M&S. The staff are great and I refuse to buy my undies anywhere else! Went in today, plenty of space, easy signs, hand sanitizer on the way in. You can't try anything on still but returns policy is good and it was calm and easy to navigate in store.

Great for ready meals and meal deals. The wine bar option after 5pm is a good way to unwind after the stress of the day. I now prefer ordering clothes online rather than rummaging around rails. The downside is you have to pay and then collect. The upsides are you can try the items on and immediately return for a refund if needed and you are certain to get the right waist and inside leg measurements.

Love Marks and Spencers, especially love going into my local large M&S. At the moment sometimes have to queue. But im more than happy to do so the staff are amazing but sometime customers are a bit of a nightmare with social distancing. The shop is great and the staff are always extremely helpful :)

Food Hall review -- always a great selection of everyday and 'posh' food items. If you're a vegetarian who likes ready meals this is the place to shop and the prices aren't excessive. The main downside is the frequent moving around of their various ranges, making a quick shop for regular items a bit frustrating.

Very large store which gets really busy & some departments are quite crowded. The Food Hall is particularly good & I like the lingerie section which is in the lower ground floor. I love the Heatgen range and wish M & S would extend this to other garments. This store has good access with modern lifts to all floors.

A large branch that feels calm and welcoming. As someone who has spent most of his time in London, the Norwich branch of Marks and Spencer's is a pleasure to visit and to shop. What makes it special are the staff, who are well spoken and pleasantly mannered. The quality of the clothing and the food and sandwiches are the best and to crown it all, it has a pleasant and calm cafe where you can drink tea and watch the people on the street below, going about their way in their beautiful city.

Loved the high quality food and groceries. M&S cooked or pre-cooked meals on the shelf is probably the best among UK supermarkets. They sell very affordable clothes depending on the time of the year. This shop has three cafes which is handy when you need a rest and a coffee.

I have to say that I hadn't been to M&S for some years. It was a very pleasant and surprising experience. I visited the menswear department and although the gentleman's fitter was rather ambivalent the checkout staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I will visit again mainly because of their happy and friendly attitude as well as the excellent product choice.

Very polite, incredibly helpful and friendly staff both in clothing departments and in homewares. They wrap fragile items up for you and fold garments neatly and put them in your bag. I recently went to find a particular item of clothing that was in sale and through app I could check if in stock in this store. I found what I wanted fairly quickly and bought something for a relative in the sale as well. The only downside really is the clothing sizes are always very generous so normal dress size may be too big when shopping here. The store was very busy on the day I went but not too busy that the experience was unpleasant. I’ve previously been to homeware department upstairs and to the plant gifts area at the side of the store near food hall. The lifts are located at back of the store and are a good size, are clean, quick and quiet.

Nice store layout with wide isles and eye catching displays. Good quality coffee, soup , bread ,pastries and bargain chocolate and the worlds greatest onion rings. More than compensates for the station branch being closed during lockdown. Economical washing up liquid available too. For y all onion ring enthusiasts there are onion rings and there are M&S onion rings.

I went the other day to buy some bras, unfortunately they had no support in them at all , so I went back today and a staff member was very patient with me when I couldnt make up my mind. She was very lovely and will definitely be returning as the staff and products are very good. And reasonably priced me being a student that doesnt have a lot of money m and s always tick the box. Has everything you want but it's not an intuitive layout - things can be hard to find. Even in the food hall! Fortunately, staff are very helpful. I wish M&S would get rid of the dreadful self-service tills, and based on the queues for human-operated tills, I'm not the only one.

Great place, friendly staff. I was sitting in the cafe doing work, waiting for Mum and Auntie to finish shopping and browsing. The cafe closed at 5pm, I still sat drinking my hot chocolate until 530pm, not realising they closed at 5pm. They didn't tell me or push me out, just cleaned around me. Very happy.

After todays visit I don't think I will go there anymore plainly due to attitude. While I understand all the Covid situation I don't think shoes are something you can buy without actually trying them on, especially for growing children. We've been told, that we shouldnt try shoes on if do not intend to buy them!!! We were after wellie boots and a pair of every day shoes. While my boy got the right size of Thomas wellies, I picked the right size of daily shoes, which he was excited to try on. A lady with blond hair, could be in her mid 40's came over and suggested we should measure size by the paper "ruller" which doesn't actually says the size of the feet but measures it in cm, while you can't find any marking in cm on insole, inner or outer shoe. As she was still around the whole time while I tried to figure it out and she couldn't advise me further, i decided not to buy them an walk out.. maybe I wasn't in a right outfit to shop here this morning and out of that she assumed I don't intend to buy anything? I don't know... Shopping here about 2,5 years for childrens clothes and shoes (walkmates as they fit perfectly, they are wide, and you can take out insoles to measure the right size for your childs feet) as we found a great choice of colors, great skinny models for trousers as well. Sorry, M&S I feel our situation has been treated badly and this is not only 1 odd ocasion, there have been more occasions when I felt uncomfortable with staffs attitude when shopping clothes for my husband and children...

Marked down as the food, when delivered was almost cold. Admittedly this was quickly corrected and the food was of good quality and got the second time around. However this meant the first offering had to be binned, waste. The reason for the failing was obviously lack of staff. There was only one person trying to handle too many, and that was not many, people. She has to do everything however. The staff member concerned was excellent but it was management that failed. This is a case of 10 years to get a reputation and 10 minutes to lose it.

I visited M&S as I was looking for a skirt. I will be 69 in a month's time so I would say that 99.9% of the skirts on display were not suitable for an old girl like me. Lo and behold I found what I was looking for and I left happy. I cracked a joke with a member of staff about what a horrid sight I would have been except for the skirt I found. It is nice to chat with a member of staff who has a sense of humour!

Food wonderful as always. Sad to see customers treating clothes as they do in Primark leaving items they've dropped on the floor in the sales areas - maybe the odd sign might help. Did buy v nicely made top in sale at v good price. Husband looked at v nice tartan shirts but every one in the pile was a huge size - can't see how so many will ever sell.

The biggest M& S I have ever seen. Apart from an amazing selection of goods and food they have 3 eateries in this store catering for everyone. Unfortunately we don't live in Norwich and only visit relatives 2/3 times a year. As we only have a food store near us we find this a great treat.

I needed a suit for an interview and I found just the perfect one. The staff working on that floor and the one who served me at the till were very helpful and very customer friendly. They were always smiling and that was so positive. The big bonus at this store and my motivation to return there after the first time was the baby feeding facility. It is a goldmine, it is clean, there is a chair, you can quietly sit there, feed and change your baby with privacy and no headaches. Complete peace and then you go ahead and carry on your shopping. It really makes you enjoy shopping while being with your baby :)

Marks and Spencer seem to think that they need to refrigerate all vegetables in their shops...really?! I found the fruit section and was lost for a good 5 mins looking for veg! However I did get a lovely meal from there which is what they do best...but it's special occasions I'd get food from there not everyday as it's quite £££ Clothing wise there is a good selection. I wouldn't say I would buy lots for me from here but for special occasions I do buy my son (2) the odd nice outfit. They are over priced on things like babies socks and vests but they do nice dungarees and tops... especially in the sale season!!!!!

I am only reviewing the food hall here as I have not been into the main store. But the size of the food hall is actually pretty big and the variety of products is incredibly extensive. As always though you get really top class quality food and drink and at prices that really aren't that different from the major supermarkets.

Their attitude is always spot on. M&S always had a reputation for quality clothes but that has slipped in recent years as I guess competition is fierce. Before you knew you werebuying quality, now you have to check to be sure, but is sum you can't go far wrong at M&S

M&S - they have fantastic food courts that are always well stocked with quality produce and teaming with customers. But then occasionally youre on the look out for some clothing so you give it a try and it's quite a different experience and that's what I'm reviewing today. I'm not saying it's bad, but it certainly hasn't kept up with the times. Navigating the rest of the store can be very confusing, and it just doesn't excite me. Overall not a bad experience but just meh.

Massive size for inner city, lacks parking but makes up for this with wealth of food and clothing. The evening reductions are great. Much better than the M&S reductions of the outskirts. The clothing reductions are also well worth a look. Clearly geared for the inner city dwellers, there is an abnormally large amount of pre-packaged meals relative to the fresh food section.

The staff are wonderful and very helpful. Although it can be a little frustrating when at the tills, if you happen to be in a hurry, and the people in front are having a leisurely friendly chat 😂 Prices are not all as expensive as you might think. There are some nice deals that are better than Tesco if you know where to look. E.g their sausages offer of 2 packs for £5 were same price but much better quality/choice. Also I recently got sent a lovely surprise treat from M&S.... free coffee/cake voucher for my birthday for being a Sparks member 😁

Never buy fresh Ingredient from M&S because the price is extremely expensive!! But the quality is very good. They provide pre-prepard food at reasonable price. £4 you can get a meal and it is very convenient to eat. Just heat up in microwave for 3min and you can have your delicious meal.

Really like how M&S is adapting to not be irrelevant to young people. But if you'd rather see them in your shop than your competitors please stock items that are relevant to our sizes, preferences and tastes. Could only find one shirt in my size and found that it got there by mistake. Went to NEXT and could pick from more than 10 different designs. All I needed was extra cuff length. You know, there are some tall people in the world.

Had a meal with a friend. I had chicken and bacon burger and my friend a chicken sandwich. Mine was wonderful but my friend had a bone in her sandwich which could have been dangerous. The staff didn't seem to care either and when I was served hot drinks the girl behind the counter was very rude. What a way for m&s staff to be! Will carefully think before going in there to eat in future.

My daughter was looking for shorts for work and we found some she liked but they didnt have her size on the rail. We asked the assistant on the till who imediately checked stock on the computer. She went to the stockroom and found one of 2 pairs that were in stock. She then went to the changing room to chase up the other pair. Excellent service and all with a smile. Thankyou.

Once upon a time most of my clothing was bought from Marks and Spencer and whilst they put their problems down to changes in shopping habits I would say that they stopped selling what people wanted from them and their attitude to their customers became less attractive. For several years the general impression of their clothing was that it was very drab and very expensive. Now when it is looking a bit more attractive they are going to close down many stores so it looks as if we will have to get used to the demise of yet another British institution.

Xmas gear in "Up to 50% off selected items" sale, but few items were actually priced up with sale prices. Bought some crackers at £10, expecting them to be £5, but at the till they showed as £ 10. I challenged this and eventually after much debate between cashiers I was told that they were £5 but were on discount, not in the sale. Well, figure that one out. Bad show M&S and not the first time I've had a similar experience.

It's a big M&S and it's in Norwich, but I was really disappointed with stock levels. All I wanted to buy was some crew neck vests for the winter, but they only had one in my size and all the vests were covered in dust and fluff. No wonder they are struggling.
