M. P.Well stocked Asda store with petrol station.
Although this Asda store is smaller than average, it still has everything you need from fresh fruit, veg, meat and dairy, chilled ready meals and a wide range of bakery products.
There are also well stocked freezers and a good selection of beers wines and spirits.
Pretty much everything you need in a compact store. It is always clean and tidy and the staff are always helpful.
S. F.I used to shop at Aldi down Huntingdon street. Fancied changing things up so popped down Asda Strelley. A lovely lad called Keith O’rourke served me. He was very helpful and wearing a Santa hat (he clearly loved getting in the Christmas spirit). He helped me pick out the perfect Christmas cards, he bought the same ones a few days ago. Overall I loved my experience and will be ditching Aldi and popping to Asda from now on. 40 Xmas cards for a pound! I guess that’s Asda price (pats bum twice).
E. R.I shop here fairly regularly, being a disabled person on a mobility scooter that can't go very far. Some staff members here are an absolute credit to Asda, but not all. Far too many people not wearing masks, including Asda staff. As a pescatarian, I find very little frozen vegetable foods (fresh veg is available too) which they used to sell now unavailable like veg burgers etc, a decent selection of frozen fish, though.
I will never understand why they never made this Asda either, a far larger ground level store or a large multi-storey. The car park is huge for no real reason with such a moderately sized store. This really is an opportunity lost by Asda as I know many people who still hop the bus to shop in Bulwell, which has a far greater choice of foods.
Asda IMO is okay to grab essentials if you live locally, but I prefer to do my main shop online with a different retailer.

C. R.Very busy all the time, baby & child parking spaces aren't actually any bigger than normal spaces and you cant get in them because taxis are always parked across them. The store has an okay range of things but I only go for emergency shops. Very narrow aisles, I always feel stressed shopping here.

m.It's a really good supermarket and has the necessities one might need in an emergency if you are unable to get to somewhere else , however as a vegan I struggle as there is a very low selection for me and my family and a poor variety of frozen vegetables . Overall it's a good shop however it could use improvement in its vegetarian and vegan options.

F. H.Reasonable store. Not huge but has more than the essentials. They do have a hot food area where you can get chips burgers and fresh pizza which is awesome and really cheap. There is a petrol station and the parking is plenty and free.

There is a nice food area serving breakfast and lunch options at reasonable prices. Good for quick shop in but for weekly worthy to compare! offers and prices with other Asda shops (my personal best is Asda Supershop Derby, just off A52 Brian Clough Way...)
C. M.As always Asda has reasonable priced products but sadly the variety is more limited than Hyson Green for example. It has a small café, toilet, clothing (not male) and a petrol station. Plenty of parking places and disable access.
M. H.The cafe is a good place to catch up for a coffee with good staff. pizza and chip and jackets potatoe all at £1 each, unless you order a large 16" pizzer which is £5. Only a small store so don't sell a lot of choice for. They have a few clothes as well.
