This grocery store is HANDS DOWN THE BEST international grocery store in Nottingham! I accidentally found it and walked in thinking it was a different international store I wanted to try. I had been hunting for all the authentic ingredients. Not only did they have every single last ingredient that I needed but I also ended up doing my main staples grocery shopping there also. The produce looked amazing! Beautifully fresh fruit and vegetables for crazy low prices! Including a butchers.

Well I came in shopping yesterday, customer service was not good. I asked a young staff to help me with the big bag of atta, he was not happy but did it for me anyway. Then when I got to checkout I asked the cashier if she could get a staff to help me to out in my car, she was reluctant. In the end staff called kiten I think his name, was very friendly smiley and very helpful and chatty which made me feel better. Thank you kiten 🙂❤

Indian supermarket in a true sense. A really huge store with wide variety of products, even those that you may not have found that easily at your native place back in India. It has all items you'd need, you name it they have it. Tip: Some things are out of date so just be cautious to check dates. Update: Customer Service via email - very helpful. Turns out my two girlfriends back home ordered a Diwali carton to be sent to me. If there was a message from them, I wouldn't have gone ape on these guys at Falcon. Thanks for being so quick to respond to my concern! ************************************************************************** Ok - so this is interesting. If I could give this place a ZERO star, I would. So this is how my Diwali has begun. Earlier this week I placed an online order with Exotic Estore. Yesterday my order had been delivered and surprisingly... I received an order from Falcon Online. Now to my surprise upon checking my browsing history - I had only visited their site in September but never ordered anything. So I called their Nottingham shop, but the pre-recorded message said to email them. Which I have done. Then I found out that Falcon has a Leicester store, so I called the number and spoke to the most USELESS & ARROGANT, LEAST HELPFUL member of staff. She wouldn't give me an alternative number for the Nottingham shop. She wouldn't pass my call to the manager because (1) there was no manager for the Leicster shop and then, (2) the manager isn't coming till later. Essentially in my opinion what these guys have done is "online fraud" - how did they get my details? How did Falcon happen to have a delivery the same day using the same delivery company as Exotic Estores were sending me my order?

Found to be one of the best place to get asian food products. Especially all sorts of vegetables, curry leaves, breakfast stuffs including idli dosa and appam mix. The frozen shelves are filled with ready to eat dishes. The utensil collection were really awesome, I was able to get most of the needed utensils for cooking. Also the nostalgic navarathna and Bajaj almond olis 😄were available. Suggested one of the best Asian store in Nottingham.

Great shop, great range and great prices. However, the staff are very rude! They are slow and not friendly. They often have queues for tills that take a long time to serve. 25 mins the other day. No customer service whatsoever at the tills, it's like they're being held hostage. No hello, thank you or any kind of conversation. It puts me off shopping here. Toilets are absolutely disgusting. If health and safety came in it would be shut down. Spice of India 2 (the counter at the back that does food) is amazing. Some of the nicest, most authentic indian food I've had in Nottingham. Recommend the tarka daal and their stuffed parathas. Good prices.

I was soooo excited when I found out about a new Indian items store in Nottingham. It did not disappoint me.. The store is very systematically arranged, the staff friendly and helpful. Also the items available are reasonably priced. The grocery section was good too. I was very happy with the snack items. I will definitely visit it regularly now.

You can find lovely cookies that other supermarkets don't have. Brands that you find in Portugal, Spain and France is always a plus! There's a big variety of spices and rice. I always bring something new to try. I recommend it.

A recent arrival to Carlton Road serving the local Asian community. Welcome location-wise as they occupied the long-abandoned old Co-op store and providing a long awaited Asian supermarket in this area. Still testing the market and finding their feet but they will find their direction soon. Very good range but need to upgrade their fruit and veg and make sure it is always fresh. Check-out staff need to refresh their customer-care as they tend to be somewhat detached. Location is very good, next door to Lidl, parking good and interior design spacious. Expect big things in 2020. Visited the store yesterday 15.11.2019 and purchased an item of rice. On the shelf it stated price £7.49 but at the till was charged £7.99. The teller said it says £7.99 on the pack (which it did) but as far as I'm concerned if the shelf says £7.49 then that is the price as many items are discounted. This has happened before so think they need to make sure that "shelf price listing" is correct. Have heard other customers complaining about this also. Otherwise good. Now added Butchery and Fish.

Good range of products, some organic lines. Downside is that things are organised by cuisine in a manner that can be difficult to find items especially if they may be in more than once place. Unfortunately the lighting makes me feel unwell so I don't manage to go in as much as I would like and can often only get part way round before having to leave which is a real shame as I could do most of my weekly shopping here. It is a great improvement on the co-op that previously traded there and a welcome addition to the area.

Today was the first time I went into the store, I’ve heard a lot about this new Asian store opening and I was extremely excited. The amount of choice was incredible and was totally unexpected as most Asian style supermarkets only focus on certain products. However this store had a vast range of items and at amazing prices!! The service has been criticised however I found it really good and the staff were so helpful. They offered to carry my heavy items as my mother couldn’t carry it. On my visit I bumped into a manager who is a young chap and he was very kind and was amazing to see someone of that age achieving so much! I definitely recommend and I will be returning to do my weekly shop from this store!

A great addition to this side of Nottingham. Well stocked with a fantastic range of products and the addition of the fresh butchers section is much welcomed. The only "however" from me is that on my most recent visit there were only two tills open with a fair amount of customers around, which meant that I had to wait longer than I would expect.

Not as good as the Leicester store yet. Staff dont get the rice for you and deliver to your car, you have to do it yourself. Fresh produce isnt as good or varied as well but good to be able to get sone staples locally and good to see some chinese produce as well. I like this shop. It has a lot of Asian foods,African,West Indian. I even found some Kool Aid from the USA. They get a lot of stuff in that is just a one off, like the Kool Aid. They have ordinary food too, but it's the unusual I like. Where else could I buy 'Shito' Chilli sauce from Ghana, or 'Cock' flavoured soup? :-)

Ok..I think it's time to review Falcon Nottingham. I have visited Falcon 3 times over the last couple of months after they opened and I should say they are stocking more and more shelves. For a start Falcon offers a large dedicated parking and customer toilets. Yes you read it right CUSTOMER TOILETS !!! That's very welcoming and convenient. 🙇‍♂️ Although not on par with other super markets, atleast something is better than nothing. Ok enough about toilets. Falcon cannot be labelled as just an Indian grocery store,because I did come across aisles of African, European and Chinese foods. So predominantly sub continent groceries and world foods are available. To my fellow south Indian fraternity, you can find all the south Indian groceries. I think Falcon appreciates there is a difference between north Indian and south indian groceries (I don't Intend to flame any divisions 😔 ). Its very much like shopping on Eastham high Street in the likes of seelans or Sakthi. Although I have seen most vegetables, Falcon Nottingham needs to figure out a way to keep them fresh. Sakthi in Eastham has a small room that's probably temperature controlled to keep the vegetables fresh.so may be that's the way to go. The meat section is yet to open. I did see a 10 kg Sona masoori rice bag for a pre-brexit price of 10.99. Yes I still feel Brexit gave a reason to hike prices 🤔. I might be wrong though.All in all this is a place to shop for all sub continent groceries in Nottingham. Hope this helps.
