It's an amazing social charity supermarket, open on weekends and run exclusively by the volunteers, that sells vegetables, fruits and bread at very very affordable prices.

We need to support this outlet and help in reducing food waste.

Such a amazing idea for those in need and to help reduce food waste. The people who work/volunteer there are super lovely! I hope to see more organisations like this one day.

Great contact point for community, friendly volunteers, nice atmosphere, negative points, you have to be there early before 9am to get any thing good. Recent change in managers policy alot of prices have been increased and not the bargain that they seem as the fresh veg has a very short life, so doesn't last long. Also I queue about a hour to get served as there is the usual mad rush on the Saturday morning. ( With the rise in prices, not that inviting, ) I hope the manager does not deviate from the basic principles of this kind of shop or it will be no different to any other shop. I would recommend that you visit it and make you own mind up.

An amazing idea, helping people get food for lower prices and reducing food waste. Have gotten some lovely food from this place and they now take donations so if someone is struggling for cash, it can come out of their fund. A brilliant initiative, well done ^_^

Great place. It reduces food waste in a way that benefits the local community. Well done to the team of volunteers behind this

I’m happy with staff in the Foodprint, and it’s good they limited how much people can buy now a food in the shop is arranged equally for everyone, customers do not need to push each other and grab a food.
I’m much satisfied how things are working now and very happy having a shop like this in our neighborhood.

A great place for people caring about consumistic waste reduction recycling ... (and savings) while helping a charitable organisation

Food waste shouldn’t coexist with people struggling to afford nutritious food. They tackle this imbalance directly, redirecting food that is perfectly fit for consumption but would otherwise go to waste. They are a social enterprise started by students at the University of Nottingham, acting as an intermediary between supermarkets, wholesalers, charities and the people of Nottingham to redistribute food. They also sell surplus at a greatly reduced price through our low-cost social supermarket in Sneinton.

Super cheep good food.
They save tones of food from going to waste that is still perfectly edible. The volunteers are always polite and helpful. I have also volunteered here before.

A really worth while venture. Still a few snags as they find their feet as social enterprise. Check when deliveries are to guarantee stock.
