The lady who served us this Monday lunchtime was most friendly, helpful and professional.
Many thanks.

Clean friendly branch. Tracy is an absolute hero. Whist shopping she engaged with us in a super friendly manner. We took our food back to the car, and suddenly there was Tracy in the car park trying to track us down because I'd left my debit card at the self- service till. She responsibly checked our names against the card before handing it over too. What a 🌟
Tracy thank you so much, I'd have been buggered without your quick thinking and determination to find me.

When traveling a long distance on the M1, Trowell Services (either direction) are my favourite stopping points. Smaller than some services but very clean and almost peaceful. With small children, that makes for a much more pleasant experience.

Exceptional customer service from Charlotte, very knowledgeable and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Not just any five star service, this is M&S five star service.

As service stations go, this is a good one. Nice touch with the engraved sandstone upon entrance and a spacious open plan feel inside.
A mark of a good service station for me, personally, is the presence of an M&S. This service station hosts a relatively small one though contained all of my desired 'food bits'.
I felt the presence of 2 Costa coffees was an overkill and I always feel W H Smith's to be a space-filler as I question the wastefulness of refrigerating so many long-life Ginster's pre packed sandwiches. A sensible customer would attend Greggs or, of course, M&S.
Toilets clean, sinks (both for hand washing and refreshment) clean.
Look forward to seeing how the southbound compares on my return trip.

Far too expensive like all outlets situated in motorway service areas but Trowell is one of the nicer ones on the M1 (for instance, avoid Watford Gap services!).
