Different A very good shop which seems to have upped its game recently with more fashionable clothes ! They are good quality and offer something a little different from their competitors. Some of the prices can be a little bit expensive but at the same time there are bargains to be had as well. There is a pleasant Café area for refreshments and there are clean toilets for shoppers.

Marks and Spencer still are an amazing place to shop in terms of food or clothing. The quality of their products is still high. In the past it used to be very high. Their range of adult clothing is very good. The children's range is very good quality but limited. The prices are now a bit relaxed due to sales. The Food is high quality and the Fruit is only Bested by Waitrose.

I love coming to your store but just have one problem. Due to poor eye sight I have great difficulty reading your overhead menu board. I asked at the till if there was a card or paper version for me to read the waitress said sadly there wasn't but it was a good idea. As i was on my own at the time chose a cake and coffee in stead. It would be nice for at least an eye level menu board.

Went for a bra fitting with Karen and she was brilliant. Really listened to what I wanted and I left with some great fitting bras and ready to buy shapewear next time. It's like all M&S store's, staffed by either really helpful and good staff and the other extreme staff who just couldn't give a dam. The shop I very non descript and like all M&S store's there's no distinguishing features to identify the shop's individuality. It was clean and tidy although the men's toilet on my visit smelt like the drains were blocked and the smelt affected the staircase and escalator area. I managed to find everything that I needed and wanted.

Nice to see some gluten free sandwiches on offer in the cafe but still no decent cake despite it being sold in the shop. Also cafe labelling in the hot food signage bit confusing in the gf info. Nice coffee and helpful staff, don't understand what the phone stickers are for on the tables!? Wish they had better signage for which floor you are on, bit disorientating.

Marks is always a great store to go into . I particurly like the food department love buying food from M&S always have done for years . I have also brought loads of clothes or the years and household goods wedding presents etc. And there was a time when I wouldn't buy my shoes from anywhere else .

The worst thing about this store is that you can become completely disorientated about which floor you are on in relation to the street level outside. Like all of their stores its easy to spot the facilities due to the long caravan of pensioners heading ever upwards. Wide selection of items and usually have all sizes and colour of garments in stock.

Great store. M&s basics range is brill for everyday consumption and whilst in there you can pick up a little treat. I recommend one of the cakes from the bakery. The staff are always on hand and there are plenty of them around to help. Nearly every till has an operator which is rare as hens teeth in a food store.The store is always well stocked and bright and extremely clean. And if you trot along at the right time you can pick up some luxury at a bargain price. Such as some fresh cream chocolate eclairs for 30 pence.

Cafe too busy always. Rest of shop quiet. Cheap clothes are poor quality. Wish they would refocus on quality at a reasonable price. Dont want to buy at full price as there will be another discount day or sale soon.

Great helpful knowledgeable staff in the lingerie department. I was at the end of myself trying to find a sports bra and the ladies couldn't have been kinder. I came away with a perfectly fitting one amd they even let me take my 12 to try in rather than having to relinquish 6 and do the awkward naked swap over half way through. I came away happy!

Although it is expensive and sometimes needlessly so. The quality of the food and drink is outstanding. I don't really buy clothing from here just because it is just too overpriced for the same quality of clothing you'd find at midrange stores such as Next or Burton's.

The best time to come is about 20 minutes before closing. Please keep an eye out for the discount trolleys otherwise you will miss out. Very high quality products and an absolute laugh when you watch everyone rush to the discount trolleys. Try not to follow the staff around... that seems to happen a lot at that time due to high demand of discounted products.

I find this place really interesting and the staff are well aware of where everything is situated. One staff showed her credibility by informing us school uniform was both downstairs and upstairs and guided us properly. Staff ensured customers abide to rules such as a lady got her child to try socks on!? The staff politely asked her to not to do that due to hygiene reasons ( correct who wants to share athletes foot lol? You would try underpants on!? Sharing genital bacteria!?) Anyways the lady made rude remarks to the staff. Great integrity and respect from the staff who just removed the socks pack the child tried on so no one else would be in that situation. So thank you for providing a good service

While the food may be over priced it does have outstanding quality you cannot ignore. The clothes are of a high standard. And reasonable in price. Without a doubt M&S deserve 5 stars

I went to take a bra back that I'd only bought 2 months ago, hardly ever worn it and the wire had come out of it. Staff member I spoke to was very helpful explaining there was a fault in some of those bras and exchanged it straight away for another one, even though I didn't have a receipt. No longer offering the quality and range you could once rely on as M&S we tried 4 different items in the sizes we know to be our size is shoes labelled as 5 were huge the 3.5 4 much nearer but not correct, for a 5. Coat size 14 label fitted as a snug 12 jumper labelled as a 12 over size 16 fit !!!!!! Really out. Quality not good finishes poor and no attention to detail that was once the reason M&S had the edge on other high street stores for quality and value. They may have changed to stay competitive but this is not an improvement.

Took a lunchtime trip with a friend. Stocks good quality things with the usual quality you would expect from M&S. The lunchtime food is much better than Tesco, but a bit more expensive than the 3 quid meal deal you can pick up from Tesco.

However, their clothes is more for classic women and if they want to survive in this huge market, then they should start targeting the younger generation also by adding more fashionable clothes. Anyway, M&S is a fine staple of the British High Street that sells reasonably priced reasonable quality clothes for the middle classes.

Has a great food selection. Also clothes for everyone, men, women and children. It also includes a bank where i can do a currency exchange. If your looking to do alot of different things in one place, this m&s is brilliant for that. It is huge. And whats better, theres an m&s home store just down the street.

Would you believe it? No longer buying schoowealr or underwear from M&S we find ourselves buying bread on a regular basis. The selection of different sourdough breads isn't up to continental standards but is a rare delight compared to conventional British white sliced bread. Carry on please M&S bakers. Keep practising. Quite a rarity these days to actually find an M&S department store, Not so long ago they used to be on every high street along with the likes of Woolies and BHS , Sadly the latter two are gone , At least we still have Mark's, even if they are far fewer in number. The Nottingham M&S is situated just off the centre of the city , It used to be on the route many would follow on their way to the Broad Marsh shopping centre, Given the present lack of many stores whilst the centre is redeveloped, footfall is noticeably down. The store itself is large spread out as it is over four floors, Complete with a fair sized cafe it's an attractive store with everything you would expect in a store of this size, Its also not the only M&S Nottingham can boast, Less than a couple of minutes away is another smaller store which contains household and furniture items, Set over two floors it is well worth a visit, It too has a cafe although given its size its probably best avoided at lunch time...

Large and spacious store, helpfull staff, coffee bar, food supermarket in basement - and most important, one and only place in Nottingham where your lady can get professional help with fit her bra, fit room staff take measures and advice on shapes. Very helpful in breast cancer battle ! And it's a free service.

Nice size m&s situated in Nottingham city centre not far from broadmarsh centre. Three floors , basement ,food court , 1st floor ladies lingerie & cafe & customer toilets & top floor men's clothing, returns & bureau du change.
